STOP bikin Resolusi di 2026, Bangun SISTEM KEBIASAAN ini
At the beginning of every year we usually make
resolutions. Lose 8 kilos and save Rp. 100
million. Read 20 books. We write it down and
stick it on a big sign in the room. But the funny thing is that every
year the resolutions are sometimes just different numbers
. We think what is lacking is
discipline, lack of motivation. But
often it's not. What is lacking is the
system. Hi, my name is Ninda. I graduated from
college with a GPA of 2.9, far from being a top
student. Now I have been working abroad for more than 10
years and almost
every year the resolutions I wrote at
the beginning of the year, thank God, have been achieved.
The difference is not that the targets are getting
easier. But since I stopped
obsessing over the end result and started
tidying up my daily habits. In
this video we will discuss four things. First,
why do resolutions often fail? Second,
how to determine the right goal
smartly. Three, how to turn goals into systems
that actually work, and fourth,
how AI can help us make
those systems clearer and more consistent.
If you've often
stopped achieving your resolutions halfway, perhaps what
you need to change isn't the number, but
the way you implement them. Why do resolutions
often fail? Having resolutions at the start of the
year is not wrong. But if we're
honest, resolutions are really just goals
we write down in January. And the goal is
usually the end result. While
our lives are running at the level of
daily habits. We write
annual goals but our lives are determined by
small decisions every day. And
often there is no bridge between the
two. For example, we write that we want to lose
8 kilos, but our sleep schedule remains a mess, our
eating patterns don't change, exercise is just
an intention, our goals are on the wall, but
our lifestyle remains the same. And then we
say, "I'm not consistent." But
often it's not about consistency. We
just haven't changed the structure of our lives.
Well, there are three main traps when we
make goals. First, we focus too much
on the end result. Second, we feel we
still have time. Third, we
depend on motivation. However,
motivation is fluctuating. If
your life progress depends on motivation,
you'll feel productive in January,
then tired in March. This is
where the mindset change that
we must understand. Goals make us enthusiastic,
systems make us move. And moving
slowly but steadily is much stronger
than momentary enthusiasm. But before
we talk about the system, we have to make sure the
goal is right. How to determine the
right goal smartly. Well, having
goals is still important. Without goals you
have no direction. But just
writing down goals won't help either. That's why
we use a smart framework. So,
your goal is not just an intention, but it is clear.
Smart is actually an abbreviation.
The abbreviation is the first S is
specific. Goals must be specific. Not
just wanting to be healthy, but to be clearer.
Suppose you lose 5 kilos in 6 months.
Not just wanting to save, but saving 30%
of my monthly income. If you're
not specific, your brain gets confused about
where to start. Well, the
clearer the wool, the less
likely you are to procrastinate. Second, M
is measurable or can be measured.
If you can't measure it, you won't
know if you're truly making progress.
More diligent is a feeling. Exercising three
times a week is a fact. Measurable goals
have numbers, indicators, or
frequencies. Without metrics, you just
feel busy but don't know if you're
actually making progress. A. Achievable or
can be achieved. The goal should be challenging
but still realistic. If
you never exercise now and then you
immediately set a target of exercising twice a week
, you will most likely fail.
Not because you are weak, but because the
system is not ready. Well, a
good go is enough to make you grow
but still makes sense with
your current life situation. If it's too
extreme, you might give up in the
first month. Well, yes R is relevant. This is
also often overlooked. The goal must be
relevant to your life direction. Not
because it's a trend, not because other people are
doing it. If you focus most on
the night, for example, if you force yourself to wake up at
00:00 in the morning just because they say
that success means waking up early, that is not necessarily
relevant. Well, relevant means that the goal is
in line with your life phase,
rhythm, and priorities. If it's not
relevant, you'll get tired of
maintaining it. This is time
bound or there is a deadline. Well, every
goal must have a deadline. Without
a deadline it's just hope. Yes,
for example, when do you want to lose 5 kilos?
For example, you have to lose 5 kilos in 6 months,
save IDR million in 12 months. Deadlines
make goals feel real because
time forces us to prioritize.
Smart makes your goals clearer.
He gave directions. But even being smart is
n't enough because AJ's direction
doesn't make you move. And this is
where many people stop. They
already have a clear goal but don't
have a system to make that goal
work. And now we come to the
most important part. How to turn
goals into a system that works. Well, this
is the crux of it all. Goal is the
aim. The system is a vehicle.
If you only have directions without a
vehicle, you just stand and
point at the map. So, why is
this system stronger? First, the system
reduces stress. If you focus on
the goal, what you continuously evaluate is the
result. What has been answered, why hasn't it been
achieved? Well, this is what makes it
stressful. But if you focus on the
system, there is only one question. Do
I follow my habits today or
not? Lighter and clearer.
Goals create pressure. The system
creates rhythm. And this system is much
more sustainable in the long term.
Second, the system changes
identity. The goal is temporary, once
achieved, if there is no system, we can
easily return to old patterns. Well, that's why
sometimes many people, for example, if they are
successful on a diet, then they end up
gaining weight again. Because what changes is only
the target, not the habits.
the system forms identity. I'm not on a
diet anymore, but I'm someone who regularly
walks after dinner, for example.
Identity is much more stable than
motivation. And that identity is formed
by small repetitions that are done
over and over again. The third is that the system
keeps running even when life is not perfect.
Motivation fluctuates, life is also not
neat. Yes, for example, there is overtime,
there is fatigue, there is a sudden agenda. If
your system only works when
everything is ideal, it's not a
system. that's called idealism. Well, a
good system keeps running even at
70% and 70% consistently for a year is
much stronger than 100% for 2
weeks. Now the question is, how
do you create a system that actually
works? Simple, just three steps.
The first step, you choose one goal,
not five. Our energy and attention
are limited. If you choose
all at once, you want to be healthy, save money, have side
hassles, wake up early, read books,
usually the results are
half-hearted. That's why you choose
one. the most impactful first.
The second step, you make it a
weekly or daily habit. Goals are
about results, systems
are about repetition. A
concrete example of a smart goal is
saving 30% of your
monthly income for 12 months. The system
auto transfers on payday. Review
expenses every Sunday night for 20
minutes. Another smart goal, for example, is to lose
5 kilos in 6 months. The system is to shop for
healthy ingredients every week, walking 20
minutes after eating. exercise every morning
before work. So, you notice
the difference. Goals are numbers, systems are
rituals, and it is the small, repeated rituals
that change identity.
Healthy people are not just about achieving targets, but
about having a consistent lifestyle. The
third step is to track the system,
not the numbers. Well, this is often wrong
because we weigh ourselves every day,
for example. In fact, what should be
asked is, "Did I walk 20 minutes today
or not?" Well, if the system
works, the results usually follow. Results are not
pursued but results are conditioned.
[music]
But there's one more challenge, having a
system is good, but if the system is
only in your head, it still won't
work. We need a way to
translate that system into
clear, scheduled steps. Well, this is where
AI comes in, not to
replace your business, but to help
you design the system so that it
can actually be implemented. Use AI
to help you build systems.
Well, I think there are three roles of AI that
can really help in building
systems. First, he can make goals
clearer and more real. Sometimes we
already have a goal. For example, this year you want to
save IDR 50 million, the figure is clear but it
doesn't feel real yet. Here AI can
help you visualize that direction.
Suppose I usually write to GBT chat
with prom, you are a strategic
planner. This is my 1 year goal. This is the context of
my life. For example, such a salary,
such bonuses, such basic expenses, what kind of
lifestyle, for example, and
so on. Please describe my life
a year from now. If this goal
is achieved, what will my routine be like,
how will I feel, and what little things
will change. Well, the output is
usually long and detailed, which will
help you visualize
what your condition will be like next year.
For example, starting from a
more stable financial condition, having a
more peaceful mind at work every day because there is a safety
net, being able to enjoy the weekend more, and
so on. Goals that were previously just
numbers, now feel like life conditions
in the coming year. And when a goal feels
real, it's easier to build a
system that leads to it. Well, if
you want, you can also continue to change this
into a visual description that I can
use as a vision board. Then you put it
into the canvas. or use the AI image
generator tool to make it your cellphone wallpaper
and the goal is not manifestation
but so that you often see that direction
because the system is always born from a
clear direction. Well, secondly, AI
can also translate goals into
concrete systems. Well, this is the most important part. A
goal without a system is just an intention. Well,
now I'll continue, Prom. Earlier, for
example, in the context of working hours from 9:00
to 0:00, my evening energy is usually
low. Please break this goal down into
realistic 1-year quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans. Well,
here's an example of the output that appears. For example,
the focus in the first quarter is to set an auto-
transfer of 2 million every payday,
design a lifestyle account, and start recording
weekly expenses. So, the mental
shift is that saving is the
default, not the remainder. Well, the final milestone
for example for the 1st quarter is 6 million
collected. Then AI can also continue
for monthly and weekly systems. You
notice this change from going a million
to becoming a weekly ritual. It
is a system and this system is much more
workable.
[music]
Thirdly, EAI can also help
you improve the system. Well, this is the part
that makes a big difference. If the system
doesn't work, we usually turn it on
ourselves. Well, now I ask AI, my
three times a week exercise regime
often fails. Please analyze the possible
root causes and help redesign it
to be more realistic. Well, here's an
example of how AI can answer things like
your schedule is too tight, your energy is low at that time
, or your target is too big
for the current phase. Then AI can also
suggest reducing the duration to 15
minutes first. Shift to a higher energy hour
, fix your sleep schedule first.
So, what is fixed is not the person,
what is fixed is the design. So,
AI doesn't automatically make you successful.
AI helps you clarify directions,
translate numbers into rituals, and
improve systems. And once the system is
clear, you no longer ask yourself every
day, "What should I do today?" Yes,
because the answer already exists. Well, if
you only remember one thing from this video,
remember this. Goals are important, but goals
are just a direction. What determines whether
your life changes or not is the system
you follow every week. So, it
's not the January spirit, it's not an
aesthetic vision board, it's not a new partner,
but a small ritual that doesn't go unnoticed.
And if you feel stuck right now, it's
probably not because you lack
discipline, it's probably because you haven't
designed a system that's clear enough and
easy to implement. So,
now you choose one goal, break it down
into a weekly habit. put it in the
calendar, do it for 4 weeks first. Don't
focus on the results first, focus on whether
my system is working or not. Because in
the end, the people whose lives change
are not the most ambitious, but the ones who are
most consistent in building systems that
keep working even when motivation drops.
And once the system is right, the goal is
no longer something you chase. He's
become something you can't
avoid anymore. If you want to continue
building habits that will level up your life
, you can click on the
next video. There I discuss
other small steps that
you can start today.
