DOSA-DOSA BESAR #220 - Dosa Sesama Makhluk - Dosa Sesama Makhluk - Iseng /Jail
Come on, be a part of our da'wah.
Support our missionary and social operations
. Raise the rewards of charity that will continue to
flow until the day of judgment.
Bismillah. Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi
wabarakatuh.
Peace be upon you.
Thank God, we are
always grateful to praise and worship
Allah. As Muslims, we
always realize that Allah
exists, is all-seeing, all-hearing, and
also has
perfect attributes. Among them, Allah Subhanahu
wa Taala is always true to his promises
and keeps his promises. Innallaha la
yukhliful miad. Allah will not
break his promise. Believers,
grateful people will definitely be protected from the
stability of these blessings. from
food, drink, clothing, even
His own faith. It is not enough in this
world, even in the afterlife we will be
rewarded with eternal heaven.
Therefore, we are always grateful for
Allah's blessings. including today, Allah
still gives us age to
continue the relay of our lives
so that we can increase the volume or
quantity and quality of worship
in terms of weighing the scales of good deeds on
the Day of Judgment and repent from
sins if we still have
violations in order to be saved
from the punishment of Allah subhanahu wa taala.
And I believe that by God's destiny we
gather tonight. And
our goal is all the same, to come to the house of
Allah, to pray, to carry out
the commands, our obligation to pray in congregation at
Maghrib and Isha and also to
attend the assembly of knowledge. [clears throat]
May Allah accept our intentions and
make this an addition to
our deeds on the Day of Judgment. Allahum amen.
Next, we offer our respectful greetings
to Rasulullah Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wa alalalui wasahbihi
wasallam. As Allah has
commanded us to say this
respectful greeting.
Okay, as usual, friends,
on the first Wednesday and the second Wednesday,
I mean the first week, the second week, we will
discuss major sins and tonight we
will discuss sins with the title of iseng.
Who usually plays pranks? Hmm. Or
maybe there are people who never
mess around here at all.
This Isang, friends, is not
foreign to us or people usually call it
ignorant, right?
Actually he was in on the
joking part. By definition, isuk is
joking,
playing around, teasing or doing
something without a serious purpose, either to
entertain yourself or others.
So, how does Islam view this?
Can we do this or
not? Why do we
put it in the sin category tonight?
Joking in general is
permissible. In general, it's fine, but
later we will mention there are limitations.
As Ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him)
said, "Joking is permissible as long as there
are no lies in it and it
hurts other people."
Likewise,
our scholars have certainly said quite a lot about
this matter of joking, yes. For
example, Umar bin Khattab
radhiyallahu anhu said, "Joke
but don't do it too much
because too much joking will kill
your authority.
This means that Umar radallahu anhu gives
us an illustration, it is permissible for people to joke
as Muslims, but don't
overdo it. If Ibn Hajar
rahimahullah said as long as there is
no lying, no harm to
others. And Ali radhiallahu anhu
said about the problem of people joking,
yes, once in a while, twice a
day, whether with their life partner
or friends, then it is permissible
. He said, "Entertain
your hearts occasionally by joking. Because
the heart can become saturated just as the body
can become saturated."
Abdullah bin Mas'ud radhiallahu anhu
said,
"I hate a young man who is empty,
neither in worldly affairs nor
in the affairs of the hereafter. He was just
busy joking." The point is not that we are not
allowed to joke, but we should not
joke all the time, we
all laugh, so that we cannot
judge when this person is serious. Moreover,
if it is accompanied by lies,
in the end people will not be able to distinguish between
what is true, honest, and what is a
lie. That's why there must be limits.
Likewise, among the tabiin,
of course, like Imam Hasan Basri
rahimahullah said, "Joking is
part of morals.
because it was exemplified by the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam. But whoever
jokes too much
will lose his authority.
If people laugh a little, joke around, or
exaggerate a little, eventually people will
no longer have the value of having authority, and they won't
hesitate any more. People don't
respect me anymore, huh? And whoever laughs too much,
his heart will die.
Sufyan ibn Uyainina rahimahullah
said, "Joking is part of the
sunnah, but whoever does it
continuously non-stop, there are people who are always
thinking about how he jokes
non-stop, so there is no
seriousness, then he is a
stupid person."
That is Sufyan bin Uyainah's opinion.
Imam Ahmad said, "It is permissible to joke,
but just a little. Whoever
jokes a lot and is excessive,
his authority will be lost.
And whoever laughs
too much,
his honor will be lost.
Imam Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said,
"Know that joking is
sunnah if it is done in the
right way. As for lying while joking, it is
forbidden according to the consensus of
Muslims.
So here we can see that apparently there are things that are
permitted, some that are not
permitted, even to the point of being
haram.
Shaykh Islam Ibn Taimiyah said, "The Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam joked
but never told anything except
the truth, so jokes that contain
lies, backbiting,
backbiting or demeaning other people are
haram according to the
Muslim consensus. The agreement
that was conveyed earlier is
on matters related to the issue of
permissibility or permissibility.
There are limitations stated by the
ulama. If we only attract ulama
who are close to our time because
they already have a lot of scientific work
and finally, from the
many Salaf sayings
compiled by Sheikh Utsimin, Sheikh Bin
Bas and Sheikh Albani Rahimahumullah,
we will
explain the rules for when
joking or joking is permissible, when it is not permissible. What is permitted is that there is no lie He's
35 years old.
He said I'm his age He was joking. Yes,
but that was a lie. He said,
"I'm 50 years old, or reduced my age by
20 years, for example." so that
people will praise him. There is a lie.
Meanwhile, in Islam we are not allowed to
lie, even if we are joking. Yes, you shouldn't
lie even if you're joking. As the
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said,
"Woe to the person who speaks
and lies and makes others
laugh. Woe to him, woe
to him." That means there is a threat here. This
means that joking or making fun accompanied
by lies is not permitted.
Because the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
followed with threats. I still remember that at
the beginning we opened our study to
major sins, thank God, now there are
220 major sins, that's all
. Oh, including tonight, at the very
beginning we will be discussing the book of Imam
Azzahabi rahimahullah Alkabair. He
gave a boundary from which we can
know whether this is a small sin or a big sin. It is a
small sin if you are forbidden but do not
follow the threat. Big sins are different
from small sins. Prohibition but followed by
threats of any nature. For example, curses
, cursed by Allah, the Messenger of Allah,
cursed by angels, for example, or
torture in the grave or torture in hell, for example,
yes, far from Allah's mercy. Or like
this is what the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam said, woe to him. The meaning of woe
means that he will be punished whenever he
jokes followed by lies. Well, there are
quite a lot of examples in this problem,
yes. If they were joking, he
lied about his age, he lied for example
by showing a house but
not his house. Or many men
sometimes propose to a woman
and deliberately show that the
vehicle is his, even though he
borrowed it or something like that. So
all this should not be used as a
joke. In essence, if a joke
contains lies, then it falls into the
first criteria or category which is
forbidden.
Secondly, you should not joke or
scare other Muslims.
For example, people deliberately wear
scary masks so that the people
next to them are scared or startled.
Suddenly he hid behind the wall
and screamed so that his friend was
scared. Some even fainted, some
even ran away and ended up being hit by a
car on the road and all sorts of things.
or he ee joked around by deliberately
pushing his friend, for example, on a
ship, in a boat, into the sea, into a river,
even though he knew his friend couldn't
swim. Well, it's
not okay to put all this into fear. This means that if you
want to joke around, don't
scare people. Jokes that
entertain people are allowed. Entertaining,
pleasing his heart, entertaining him is
fine. As the words of the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam in
the hadith narrated by Abu Daud with
authentic sanad. It's the
same as the first limit,
yes, he can't lie. It is the same as
narrated by Abu Daud with Sanad
Hasan. If the second one should not be
frightening, it is the words of the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam with more or
less non-halal translations. This means that it is
forbidden for a Muslim to
intimidate another Muslim.
Yes, among the examples given
by the scholars is that they deliberately
turn off the lights to scare people,
making frightening sounds.
The point is, all forms of intimidation are not
allowed. Or deliberately
calling him to terrorize him even though he actually
only wanted to joke so that his friend
would be afraid and say he was from the
police station or whatever or whatever.
Well, that's how it all goes into it
.
Third, there must be no insults. This is
the limit of the words of the scholars,
belittling or mentioning shame. This is
included in the third point. So you can't
insult, you can't
demean and you can't
mention disgrace.
In accordance with the words of Allah Subhanahu wa
Taala in Surah Al-Hujurat.
[clears throat] It is
not permissible for one group to make fun of
another group.
Asun, it
could be that the group of people being
mocked is better than the one
making fun of them, right? Also in the
same surah Al-Hujurat verse 11.
Do not backbite one
another. Yes, anything that is meant as a joke or something that is
aimed at insults is not allowed.
such as mentioning someone who is physically fat,
for example, or someone who is too thin, or something
similar. This is similar to what happened to some of the
Prophet's companions in the past. This happened
to the companions when they saw Abdullah bin Mas'ud
radhiallahu anhu climbing up a
date palm tree and at that time the wind was a bit
strong and finally exposed
Abdullah bin Mas'ud's two calves. Coincidentally
he is very thin. When they saw the
small calves of Abdullah bin Mas'ud,
some of his companions laughed. laugh.
Finally, when they laughed at
Abdullah bin Masud, the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam became angry. Then the Prophet
said, "Are you laughing at
Ibn Mas'ud's two small calves?
By the One in whose hand is my soul,
those two calves will be heavier on the
scales of righteous deeds on the Day of
Resurrection than Mount Uhud." than
Mount Uhud. This means it cannot be
insulting.
He's thin, that's all. Once
his body posture is fat, that's it. If we
want, we can provide input. For example,
what about brother or sister, what about
consuming this vitamin if,
for example, he is thin or fat,
for example, brother, obesity is dangerous,
why not do this and that. We
provide positive feedback. Don't make it an
object of insult,
whatever its nature. And we have
touched on the issue of shamat. Syamata is
insulting, demeaning other people. Even
enemies on the battlefield are not allowed.
Remember the story of the defeat of the Muslims in the
battle of Hunain. Yes, at that time 10,000
Muslim troops from Medina after
attacking the city of Mecca, these 10,000
troops were intact. In addition, there were 2,000 new converts
who had converted to Islam after the expansion of the
city of Mecca and joined the Hunain army
in the Hunain valley, approximately 30 km from the Grand Mosque
. Until now, if we are
in Makkah searching for the Hunain valley, we will be
guided near a miqat called
Jirana.
What is clear is that at that time the number of
Muslim troops was 12,000. Know what
the friends say, including those who
say this, Abu Bakr, radhiallahu anhu.
The companions said, "We will
never be defeated
by this many while
looking at the enemy. And it turns out that the
Hawazim tribe is not as numerous as the
companions. So Allah made the Muslims lose at the beginning of
the war because they
said that alone. Be very
careful, be
very careful. Why was Satan humiliated by
Allah Subhanahu wa taala? What did he
say? Ana khairum minhu. I am
better than him. He brought down Adam alaihi
salam. Well, that's not allowed. If we
want to open a business,
friends who enter to compete in the
presidential election, regional elections and all sorts of things,
show our quality. There is no need for
us to bring down others or
insult them. More or less like that
. Likewise, this is the same as
belittling, I remind
all friends of the words of the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam, be
very careful about belittling, especially
Muslims. Because the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam said that usury is 73
chapters. The lowest is like someone committing
adultery with his own mother. This means that the
lightest usury is the same
as the heaviest Chapter on adultery.
Because the most serious adultery is adultery
between a mahram. Mother and child, father and
child, brother and sister. This is the
most serious adultery. But it is at the
lowest level of usury. Then the
Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said,
"And the highest level of usury is
73, equivalent to humiliating a
Muslim."
So, you can imagine how many sins we are burdened with if
we mock or belittle a Muslim
just because of this matter. Yes, including
the issue of joking here, yes, or
mentioning disgrace, all of this is not
allowed. Fourth, it should not be
too much or excessive.
so that ultimately the jokes are sprinkled
. Consciously or unconsciously with
false stories. More or less there is a
correlation with the first point, yes. But
the point is, when joking, friends, there are
times when we are serious, there are times when we
joke around. Not all of
our serious times make people
uncomfortable around us. No, not
always all jokes so people
don't know when to judge our
dignity, self-esteem. Some
people sometimes because they always
just make people laugh Being the butt of
jokes means losing your self-respect.
Whether you have a muscular build or
wealth, people
underestimate you because you're too easily made fun of.
Well, this is the fourth rule. So, you
shouldn't joke around too much.
As Imam Ahmad (
rahimahullah) said, joke around a little.
Whoever jokes around a lot
loses his authority.
Then, fifth, it shouldn't be done at
inappropriate times. [clears throat] It
shouldn't be done at inappropriate times.
Sorry, there are six of them, not five. The
basic rule is that it shouldn't be done at
inappropriate times, like when someone is
praying to accompany a corpse or joking around the
corpse itself. Pretending to be a
corpse is a joke, but it's just for fun. I'm
afraid it might scare my friends who in Indonesia
usually pretend to be ghosts or something like that
. Well, that shouldn't be allowed
because the corpse is its time to return
to Allah to ask for accountability.
It's not for jokes. It's not for
jokes. It's not just for jokes. This is
very dangerous if people don't
understand. The same goes for
seeking knowledge, joking too much in
places of learning or when people are
in difficult situations. Yes, then he
jokes around when people
need to be entertained,
for example. Well, all of this, friends,
we must understand well
so that no violations occur.
If the joke is
accompanied by lies, for example, people
say,
and this is generally forbidden by scholars, right?
For example, he says, "Your cell phone fell,
I saw it." When in fact it
didn't. He just wanted to play a trick on his friend,
right? Earlier I saw your wife come in,
she was looking for you. When in
fact she wasn't. For example, I
saw your child stolen,
when in fact it wasn't. Examples of
intimidation, we already mentioned,
for example, behind the wall, behind the
door, then deliberately startling people
by demeaning them, for example,
mentioning their fat body,
their thin body, or someone who has a
lisp when speaking like that. Then
at ee inappropriate times,
which we just discussed, like someone
laughing too much in the mosque,
so it disturbs people who are doing
dhikr, people who are praying. Uh,
cell phone sounds
that might make people laugh, but in the
mosque, it's not appropriate, right?
The place. Those are some
examples. Like joking around
when someone is giving a
Friday sermon, or joking with
words that are sinful, for example,
or demeaning, in the mosque, this is a
double offense.
Joking is also prohibited
in the mosque, right? So this is
something that is not allowed, and scholars
say it can harden the heart.
Likewise, when someone is
experiencing sadness, when there is a death, when
someone is suffering from loss, right?
It shouldn't be used as a
joke, even if the intention is good.
Yes, there was a young man in Saudi Arabia, a
true story. [clears throat] He was
looking at an old man, 70
years old. Oh, he was sad because his child
died before him. His child was still in his
50s, or in his 40s, and had already died. So
this young man was 20 years old. He said
to the old man, "Come on, grandpa, don't be
sad." Uh, he probably meant to
calm the old man down, huh? Uh, so that it won't be
long before you die. He
said, "We'll die on the same day,
okay?" Subhanallah. Two days
later the grandfather died, and his
20-year-old son also died. Yes,
because he said those words.
We will die together in one day.
Maybe he meant to joke with
this grandfather to cheer him up.
Meaning I'm still young, 20 years old.
Maybe if I die in 30 or 40
years, you will be like that too.
But this is a wrong understanding. For example,
yes. The point is,
we shouldn't use anything related to people's problems when they are sad as an
opportunity to joke. So the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam also
joked, friends. But
his jokes were in the right place.
That's why Sheikh Uthmeen rahimahullah
said, "If your joke makes people
hate you, then it's not a joke,
but it's actually injustice."
Yes, there are people sometimes, "Well, it's
up to you if you don't like it, it's
okay. The important thing is, I was just
joking." As if he justified
his attitude, it can't be. If the
person doesn't like it, then it means we
've been cruel to him. And that's a big sin in
itself. It's a big sin in itself. So
we really have to underline this,
even though joking is allowed.
Even Sheikh Utsmimin said
joking is like salt in food.
If it's just the right amount, the food is delicious,
but if it's too much, it will
spoil the food, it can't be eaten.
Well, that's how it is. Then the
sixth rule is that it's not allowed, this is the sixth rule, which is
not allowed to joke or
joke with other people's things.
That's the rule. So what kind of things?
For example, he deliberately knows that
his friend has put his car or motorbike keys somewhere, so
he takes them. He deliberately moves
his parking lot to another place so that
his friend is confused about looking for them. It's not
allowed.
Because even though he meant to
joke, his friend is already
scared. It's not allowed at all. It's
considered like he's taking
his friend's things.
Sheikh Utsmimin, Sheikh Bimbas, and
Sheikh Albani Rahimullah everyone
says this is not allowed to be
fad like this. Based on
the words of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
narrated by Abu Daud with sahih sanad,
"None of you should
take his brother's things whether
jokingly or seriously. So it's not
allowed." Well, it's the same as hiding
his sandals, for example, that's also
not allowed because maybe he needs them,
he needs that problem. So,
let's not make mistakes in things
like this, okay? Anything,
pens, cell phones. Some people
sometimes hide
their friends' cell phones so that their friends are
confused about looking for them and then
return them after a certain number of hours, okay?
That's not allowed. It's not allowed. I've heard
information in some of our regions that
sometimes the joking goes too
far. Like, for example, his friend is
getting married, I've heard
information in East Java that
young people have done that. In fact, it's been done, right?
So he's already arranged with
his friends, this friend of his who's getting married
. Who's going to drive the car?
Who's going to accompany the bride and groom? Then they've arranged it,
they appear to be good,
willing to help this friend. It turns out that
his friend already trusts him because they're
all friends. But then
before the wedding ceremony, they deliberately take the
car out of town. For example, from city A to
city B, so it's far away, eh, the registrar
is waiting, the bride and groom are waiting, they're
joking, right? They're joking about
problems. This. There are those who deliberately
joke when their friends are about to
get married and throw eggs at them. They deliberately
end up getting their clothes dirty. This is not
allowed, friends. Because they are
about to get married, they want to carry out the
sunnah, they want to worship. Why do
we get their clothes dirty? For example, these are
all things that we absolutely must not
violate.
The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
joked, friends. Yes,
for example, the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam once found a friend.
Well, this is a little bit ee ee ee it is permissible for
us to joke with friends but they know
it's a joke. If earlier you
hid your cellphone, you surprised them, they would
n't know that we were joking
with them. But if they knew we
were joking, for example,
there is a valid story
narrated by Abu Dawud. There were two
friends, one named Nuaiman, the
other named Suwaib. Suwaib was
with Nuaiman. Nuaiman was joking. He
said ee in the middle of the road, on the side of the road
He said, "Who wants to buy Suaibib
from me? This is my slave." But Suaibib knew
he was not Nuaiman's slave. And
the people around him who were
being joked knew. What happened
in this history. The Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam passed by and the Prophet said,
"Who wants to buy Suaibib?" Well, the Prophet
joked like that too, right? But Suaibib
knew, Nuaiman knew, and everyone
knew. Actually Suaibib was not a
Buddhist.
Finally they laughed. Well, that's
permissible, right? But in their condition
know and don't hurt them. It's
not hurtful for them.
Likewise, you can throw
figurative words if you want to entertain them,
but after that,
maybe you have heard a
valid history, the story of Tirmidhi,
where a grandmother came
to the
Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam, "There aren't any.
This woman came out of the mosque sad.
Then the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
said, "Call him back." As soon as he
was called back, said the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam, "Indeed there is no
one your age in heaven, but
you are among the people of heaven." Pay attention to
the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam immediately
straighten out at that moment. He was
just joking, right? want to convey a
law but with a metaphor in it. So
this woman once again said,
"Are there people like me in heaven?"
What I mean by grandmothers is that they don't want to
say, "This grandmother is embarrassed to say
to the Prophet, 'O Messenger of Allah, I'm in
Paradise.' No. She just said, 'Is there
anyone like me in Paradise at
this age?' The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
said, 'There isn't.' Finally, the Prophet
clarified it. After that, in this narration,
he said, 'Indeed, in Paradise
they will all be returned to their youth.'
Yes, that's it. Then, what is
permissible is the joking between
husband and wife. Joking that
entertains them. Because indeed,
as Umar radhiallahu anhu said, husband and wife.
We husbands, when we are outside the house, are
like lions waiting for
their prey. How lions seriously
search for their prey, monitoring with
their eyes, alertly and all that.
But when we return home, we are
like children again.
That's his personality. It doesn't
mean he has a
dual personality. It's not a negative thing. But what I
mean is that it's time for him to
joke with his wife, with his
children. He jokes to entertain them,
yes. Be the figure of a husband who is always
missed by
his wife when he's outside the house. So A father figure who, when
outside the home, is missed by his children
because he is full of cheerful jokes.
Yes, teaching is also teaching in a
good way, politely, with, uh,
jokes. The same with
wives. Be a wife who, when her husband
is out, always misses him because
of his smile, his jokes,
his laughs. That's all
permissible. Well, this is included in the
permissible points, right? The Prophet (peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him) once joked with
Aisha in the hadith of Abu Daud. At
that time, Aisha was still very slim
.
She was probably around 10 years old, or
between 10 and 12 years old. The Prophet (peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him) was already 50
years old. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him) ordered the troops to run. Then the Prophet
said, "Hey Aisha, let's run a race."
Then Aisha passed the Prophet (
peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), right? Well, after
that [clears his throat]
said Sheikh Muhammad Shinkiti (
may Allah preserve him), he adding to
this narration, he said, "After that, the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam wanted to
show Aisha and his intention to
entertain her by calling
a woman who was a cook in
Medina and ordered her to give
Aisha a lot of food." Aisha
finally ate and her body began to
gain weight. After that, the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam said, "O Aisha,
now is the time for us to compete." Then
Aisha said, "How am I
now fat?" The Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, "Let's
compete." Then she ran and it turned out the Prophet
won. Then the Prophet laughed and
said with a smile,
"Indeed, this is a replacement for the previous defeat
." That's right. But that's just a joke
, right? So let's not be husbands or wives who always have tense faces, okay? All that is emotional,
angry. No.
I suggest all men, whatever
your burdens outside that is what I usually
do. For example, if we have a lot of
work burdens, the burden of preaching, debts,
heat, sun, traffic jams on the road.
All of that when you want to enter the house, put it at
the door of the house in At the front door. You
enter as a different person.
Smiling, friendly, listening to your
wife's complaints, joking with them. You become a
different person. Small children invite you to
play. It's natural to play. Don't
take it lightly. The jokes of husband and
wife, friends, and conversations between
them will not be considered lahu. Lahu
is a sinful, futile activity. But instead, it
becomes an act of worship. Remember the saying of the Prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam, "There are three things that are not
considered futile.
Among them, besides people training
their horses, people waging jihad, earning a
living, it also includes
husband and wife joking. So, even though
people joke all night long with
their wife, laugh, smile,
entertain, praise, yes, chatting, this
is not in vain. It's the same
with how we spend time with our
children. No way, friends, if we
want to force our 3 year old, 4
year old, 5 year old children, we consider them like
our friends who are 25 years old, 20 years old, we are
tense, seriously, we can't. It's
time for kids to joke around. Well, that's how it is
.
Ee, that's also true if the things are
general in nature. For example, we
praise food or gifts from friends
. Actually, the gift from a friend is
probably at the level where you usually buy
this item. If the number is 1 to 10, you usually
buy numbers 5 and above. But
your friend comes, then he may according
to his ability give you a
gift at number three of his level. You
usually buy t-shirts for Rp0,000 and above,
this friend brought you a t-shirt for
Rp25,000.
Here at the time the friend said,
"Do you like it or not?" We can't possibly
say, "No, I don't like it."
But we can enter the chapter where
jokes are permissible. We say we like it,
but there are better clothes than mine. That's
okay, for example. But we are
here, we are not lying because
we don't really like that dress.
But we don't feel sorry for him either.
Because in line with the authentic meaning of the hadith
narrated by Imam Muslim, one of the
acts of worship that is favored by Allah is to
instill joy in the heart
of a Muslim. But there are no
lies. Yes, remember that
the standardization is that there must be no
lies. You can't hurt him, you can't
insult him.
We must truly understand all these rules
well so that there are no
religious violations in matters
like this. In conclusion, friends
, the scholars say
that joking in Islam is permissible
and we may entertain ourselves with
permissible things, but do not
overdo it. That's why when the companions of the
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
migrated to Medina and the companions of the
Ansar said, "O Rasulullah, we
have holidays in Medina."
What do you think? The Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, "Allah has
replaced your holidays
with the two holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-
Fitr." And at that time, people could
wear new clothes and
do things that were permissible.
Now we might exercise, we
go out with friends, there are times when we
can relax. But remember, don't
go into the chapter on disobedience to Allah
subhanahu wa taala. Well, this is more or
less the limit of
our discussion, friends. Good. If there is truth
from Allah, please take it and
practice it. If I make a mistake, please
forgive me and I pray to Allah
subhanahu wa taala. May all those
present have their wishes granted in the world and
the hereafter. his sins are forgiven, his
righteous deeds are accepted. And hopefully,
just as Allah unites us in
this assembly of knowledge, Allah will unite us in the future
in His paradise without hissa.
Allahumma amen. Subhanakallahumma w
bihamdika asadu alla ilaha illa anta
astagfiruka wa atubu ilaik. Wasallallahu
ala nabina wa habibina Muhammadin wa
waalihi wasam. Praise be to God.
Peace be upon you and Allah be upon you
