The Arabic We Speak Elementary My Life Lesson 6

Hello and welcome to a new episode of The Arabic We Speak. I'm Amani and today I'm going to share with you one of my experiences abroad. I was in my early twenties when I moved to Canada. Once I was in the train with a little girl next to me. I was bored and I just wanted to go back to my home that day.

And me and this woman didn't say a word to each other. But after a while, the train stopped. And we started asking, what's wrong? And the train stopped at a light signal. To make the cars pass. And then we started to talk. And we stopped feeling bored. And we got off the train at the same station.

But each one of us left on her own. And after a week, I started going to her class in the evening. And it was my first class. And I was a little nervous. And I was also a little scared. Because everything was new and strange to me. And in the classroom, I met the woman I saw on the train. And I was very surprised and happy when I saw her.

I was bored, and I just wanted to go back to my home that day. And me and this girl didn't say a word to each other.

But after a while, the train stopped and we started asking what was wrong. The train stopped at a light signal to make the cars pass. Then we started to talk and we stopped feeling bored. We got off the train at the same station, but each one of us left the road.

And after a week, I started going to the evening class. And it was my first class. And I was a little nervous. And I was also a little scared. Because everything was new and strange to me. And in the hall, I met the woman I saw on the train. And I was very surprised and happy when I saw her.

She showed me where we were because it was my first day and I didn't know my way yet. We used to see each other during break time and drink a cup of coffee. We became friends and until now we communicate by email the most.
