yesterday.

I was in La Guaira

and

one of my pastor friends there

told me,

"85%

of my church

was left under the rubble, not the

church building, but the people."

literally 99% of his leadership,

his entire government, and many members of his

church, meaning he was left with only

15%.

And he tells me

that in the midst of the confusion

and in the midst of the whole situation he

is fighting with God.

People here don't fight with God, do they

?

But there are people who do fight with God.

So, he says that in the midst of the

confusion and the situation, he

begins to argue with God because he

isn't a native of La Guaira,

and he starts arguing with God and says to

God,

"Why did you bring me from so far away?

Because after the time you

gave me these people, after I earned their love,

won their hearts,

and was beginning to see the fruits

of discipleship,

of all that, of everything

that comes with having a people—

preparing them, training them,

educating them, correcting them, teaching them.

So he says that he's in that

struggle with God

and says to Him, "Why did you give them to me if you were going

to take them away?" "

Why did you give them to me, and all the time

I spent loving them, training them, and

discipling them?"

Then he says that in a very

subtle, yet firm way,

he heard God's voice, and God told him

two things. He said, "Number one,

they were never yours, they

were always mine."

And number two,

instead of fighting with me,

thank me

because because of your work,

because you educated and trained them, they

are all with me.

the word that God gave us

is, how does God respond in the midst of

crisis? How does God respond in the midst of

chaos?

He tells me that the word that God

gave to his heart

took away his sadness,

his pain, and his

frustration.

Because

God categorically gave him two powerful answers.

One, he told me, "Friend,

the church is not ours.

Always prepare people for God.

And two,

he tells me, "The satisfaction I

have

in the midst of the crisis of pain and

chaos

is knowing that none of those who left

this earth were lost because God

told me so."

Wow.

That brought a lot of reflection to my

spirit and my heart.

And God gave him an answer,

right? In the midst of a crisis.

He was in crisis, he had

collapsed, he was fighting with God,

but nothing takes God by surprise.

Our God

is a God of purpose,

and perhaps right now we don't understand this whole

earthquake situation.

Why did so many people die? There is still a

lot of uncertainty about that,

but I believe that in the coming days

God will be giving answers,

not about why.

God keeps the reason why to Himself.

Thousands of "why" questions may arise, but what

really interests us

is the "what for."

What is God's purpose?

So,

first of all,

how does God respond in the midst of a

crisis? How does God respond in the midst of

chaos? How does God respond in the midst of

upheaval?

I've been able to look at some social media

because I don't like to look at too much because there are

truths, but there are also many

lies.

So, what caught my attention was

a video I saw where a rescuer is

inside the rubble, and

further down in the rubble, there's someone else. The

rescuer is talking to that person,

and suddenly, in that same moment, the ground starts to

shake.

The person inside the rubble

says to him, "It's shaking, it's shaking,

go, save yourself."

And the rescuer says, "You know

Jesus."

And he begins to make a confession

of faith. "

Declare with me."

That really impacted me because

the rescuer was willing to

die

if the whole thing came crashing down on him, but he was so

clear about his purpose: to

go with God.

But he didn't know if the person under

the rubble had Jesus. And he

understood that his assignment at that

moment wasn't to look after his own

salvation, but to look after the

salvation of the person

under the rubble. So,

I can understand that in the midst of a

crisis, the most important thing you and I

must

cry out for is... To

yearn for is the presence of God.

Because a song says that if I have

Him, I have everything. The Bible says that

Moses said, "I'm not going to do anything, I'm

not going anywhere, I'm not going to

move." Unless you give me the

guarantee that wherever I go, your

presence will go with me. The important thing

is not the crisis, the important thing is not the

earthquake, the important thing is not the chaos,

the important thing is that in the midst of the

crisis, in the midst of the earthquake, in the midst

of the chaos, [shout] you can have the

guarantee that the presence of God

is with you.

That is the answer, one of

God's main answers. Because

I ask myself, how many thousands or

millions of people pray for Venezuela

inside and outside?

Now, the question is,

why didn't God prevent the earthquake?

It's simple

because that earthquake, however hard and

painful it may be,

has a purpose.

And it is written,

if you read Matthew 24, it

is written there,

"And the God you and I serve is not

a lying God."

And Venezuela is one of the few countries

that fits perfectly with everything in Matthew 24.

We have experienced the plague,

we have experienced persecution, we

have experienced rumors of war, we have

seen the exodus, we have seen famine,

all of that is written. Now, an

earthquake,

what else? The earth will never be the

same.

I read from serious experts, not just

anyone, serious experts.

They said

that for the next 6 months there will be

movements in the earth

because the separation of the layer was

between 60 and 90 cm, almost 1 meter. That is

, if there was a line on a sidewalk

here, this sidewalk is this way and this one

is over there.

There is a separation. I was talking to someone

in La Guaira who said that there are bodies that will never be

found.

No matter how much they remove the rubble.

Now, why will they never

find them? Because the earth opened up, it

happened in the Bible when God declared

judgment on the people. Now, many people

are emphasizing the judgment in Venezuela.

I know some people are going to criticize me

idolatry in every nation.

There is also idolatry in the Lord's church

because there are people who, where God should be, have their

children, their husband, their

wife, their money, their

job. So, let's not talk

about idolatry, let's

not talk about judgment. Let's talk about what

the Word says. It says that all

nations, all nations will be

shaken. Now, what is the purpose

of the shaking? What is the purpose?

What is God's response in the midst

of a shaking? That's what I want to

tell you today. God's response in the midst

of a shaking is for you to have the

conviction that in the midst of pain, in the

midst of crisis, in the

midst of chaos, in In the midst of

any situation,

Almighty God

is with you.

I believe,

from my perspective—and I don't mean to state

this as a doctrine—but I believe that,

from my point of view, the place where there is the

most faith on earth right now

is in Venezuela. Amen.

From my perspective, because I know there are

many people who have come to know the

Lord, who were far away, who

were there crying out.

There are people who have been trapped for 15 days under

the rubble with everything sealed off. How

can those people breathe? There is an

answer from God. The presence

of God has been under that

rubble, telling those people—

ah, I don't know if you

understand me.

In a crisis, in chaos, when something

collapses, the most important thing is not that

God prevents the chaos.

The most important thing is not that God

prevents the crisis. The most important thing is

not that God

prevents the problem. The

most important thing is that in the midst of the

crisis, in the midst of the problem, in the

midst of the chaos, the answer

comes from God with His presence.

I believe that the most important thing

in this crisis And in this situation, it is about

believing in God's promises. For

example, Isaiah 41:10 says,

"Do not fear.

I know your life will never be the same. Mine

neither.

We weren't used to

this, we

were used to other kinds of

things,

but now we have to

adapt to this new normal.

Because as an apostle, as a pastor, and as a

man of God, I have to speak

the word to you.

And the Bible says so, I'm not saying it. Glory

to God that my sister raised me from a

young age and I learned to read with

the Bible. I mean, I know the Bible is

true,

but I can't create a false

expectation for you. I know that many of you

come seeking a word of faith, a

word of encouragement, a word of

comfort, but if I do not tell you what I am about to

tell you, I will be judged

by God. But I have to tell you the

truth, things aren't going to get better

because it's not what the Bible says.

The Bible says that everything will go from bad to

worse,

but what if the Bible says

that even if everything is going from bad to worse, there is

a guarantee?

And do you know what the guarantee is?

That in the midst of crisis, in the midst of

chaos, in the midst of everything getting

worse, there is a guarantee. Do you know which one it is?

God, if you call on him, he will

be with you.

I think that's the most important thing in the

midst of a crisis.

See

how we certify this presence.

On one of my trips,

I went to see one of my pastors who

was near Tanahuarena, but he

was up in the mountains, and we went there by

motorcycle.

He told me,

"I didn't lose that many people, but I lost

very valuable people.

I lost people from my church,

but what I lost most were many people from

my generation,

those who grew up with me, who

lived in those buildings.

But just as I lost people, I

also have two

impressive testimonies. He told me, 'I

have a spiritual daughter

who has a granddaughter.' She stayed with

her granddaughter because the girl was orphaned,

not in this tragedy, but due to another

situation.

And he told me that when the

earthquake began,

the woman was living on the ninth floor of one of the OPP buildings

.

As you've seen on

social media, most of the people

inside those buildings

died.

But what strikes me is that

she says she was on the

ninth floor with her granddaughter,

and in the blink of an eye, they were out

on a street covered in dust."

But the most impressive thing is that they

both recount that they

were in the tower, right? On the

ninth floor, and they felt a

movement that brought the ground down, and when

they came to, they were on the other side of the

street and the building was gone,

but they felt as if a

carpet

carried them and set them on their feet.

I believe that many miracles

are going to begin to be documented,

because the most important thing

in the midst of a crisis, in the midst of

chaos,

is that the presence of God

is with us.

Then, Isaiah 41:10 says, "Do not fear.

Because I am with you. Do

not be discouraged,

for I am your God. He's

not saying he's going to save you from the

problem, he's not saying he's going to

save you from chaos. What he's telling you

is that there's a guarantee, there's a

promise that if you believe it in the midst of

chaos, in the midst of crisis, in the midst of

the situation, he gives you a promise and the

promise is that he will [shout] be with you

.

tells you, "I'm not going to change the

circumstances"

because for God it was easy to deliver

Satan has asked to sift you

but the Lord Jesus did not say to him, "I have

prayed, I have begged that this may not

happen to you." Do

midst of the difficulty, in the

midst of the pain, in the

midst of the suffering

your faith may not diminish. Because when a

for Venezuela

because

every rescue was celebrated as if it involved thousands of

the nation with the most faith

is Venezuela.

those rubble

Not because they read a book, not because

they saw a sermon, it's because each

of them has a

true story to tell, that in the

midst of the rubble, in the midst of

explain that people

I believe that in the coming years

How does God respond in the midst of

crisis?

How does God respond in the midst of a

storm? How does God respond in the midst

of chaos?

It seems contradictory.

It is through peace.

Because

the hardest thing

to preserve

in a crisis is peace.

But look at what God says, and this

word is for you and for those who see me on

the internet as well.

My peace I leave with you;

my peace I give to you. And here is the

famous word, not as the world gives it.

You have to understand this:

when the world says peace agreement,

write it down. What's coming is a

serious conflict.

But God says,

in the midst of the crisis,

in the midst of the chaos,

if you trust in me, God says,

I will give you that peace. Amen.

I believe there are people who will

leave here today healthy

from the care.

attention do? People get stressed,

overwhelmed, and their blood pressure skyrockets

Because they cannot reconcile peace.

But when God gives you peace,

Where does that peace come from? Apostle, but

how can you say you have peace in the midst of the

supernatural. That's why God says that he gives you

answers in times of crisis, and one of those

answers is peace. Now, why does it have to

be God? Because everyone

in a crisis is

desperate,

overwhelmed, anxious,

stressed.

But if you have peace in the midst of a

storm, believe me, that's not you.

It is the presence of God

within you.

in the midst of the crisis.

Allow you and me to

maintain a supernatural calm in the

midst of the crisis. So,

one answer in the midst of the crisis is

that God gives you peace.

Number three,

how does God respond in the midst of a

crisis or chaos, in the midst of a

difficult situation?

deeper.

Respond by giving wisdom.

discernment

and direction.

discernment.

Discernment

and direction.

but at this moment there are many people without

direction,

without knowing what to do, without knowing how to

react.

is that God gives us direction.

So why do people commit suicide?

Because people have no direction.

And the answer

was Thursday of that week.

But feeling overwhelmed and directionless, he

decides to commit suicide on Tuesday.

God's answer. God was going to

provide the solution to the debt.

direction,

believes there is no way out, decides to

commit suicide on Tuesday, but on Thursday he was going to

permanent decision

in a temporary process.

When you don't know what to do in a

conflict, do nothing.

Wait on God.

The hardest thing

in the midst of chaos is to stay

calm. That's the hardest part.

But if you manage to overcome that barrier,

I am convinced that at the moment

you least expect it, God will give you

wisdom, God will give you

discernment, and above all, He will give you

direction.

Now, what direction do we need?

God's guidance.

That's where the key lies,

God's direction, God's wisdom.

James 1:5 says, "If any

of you lacks wisdom—and

here I would say 'us' to

include myself—

let him ask God for it, and

he will give it to you richly and

abundantly."

I have been asking

God for wisdom.

how to attack and be effective

in this crisis,

because it is only just beginning.

And do you know what God told me when I

asked him for directions? The Lord told me,

you have to put on Joseph's mantle,

because the collateral damage

that comes from this

earthquake crisis,

we have not yet seen it.

There are hundreds of orphaned boys and girls.

So I say to him, "Lord, give me

wisdom and connect me with the right people

because they know, through [music], by

having an apostolic and

prophetic mindset, which is not a cliché, nor

a fad, nor a hierarchy, it is a

mantle." Understand that. I am not an apostle

because I am a hierarch, no. It's because of the

vision.

Then, God anticipates me and says,

"I'm going to give you a design to

train adoptive parents." You're going to

start doing a job before

people ask you to do it. There's

a job to be done.

Families who have been unable to have children need to be evaluated. I

mean, there's a reason for that, you see? So, there are

people who haven't been able to have children, and there's a reason for that

. Now, why? Because they are

the candidates to adopt those boys

and girls who were left without parents. We in

the church need to devise a plan to

help those young people who are 15

years old, who will be 18 in three years. They will

be in shelters until they are 15

because they are minors, but at

18 they will be told, "Goodbye." And what

will happen to them if we don't

do the job? Because at the end of the

day, it's the church. This burden falls on

the church. It is what we have: a

compassionate heart for our neighbor.

What should we do? Because a young person who

lost their father, who lost their mother, who

lost their home, who lost everything,

if they don't commit suicide, will want to drown

those sorrows in alcohol and drugs.

what do we need as a church?

We need to have wisdom and for God to

give us the grace to access the

hearts of those young people, so that God can

transform them and reveal to

them that if God left them alive it is

because God has a purpose and

a life plan for them, even if they do

I believe that the church has to fill that gap

for me is not a doctrine,

but the fruit

that God wants to bring out of you and me

in a crisis, ask me, what is an

apostle?

All crises come,

no one can escape them,

Strengthen our character,

Someone told me yesterday, one of the

legends told me, "Wow, I'm going through

a very tough time at home."

cannot help everyone,

prioritize needs.
