Penyusunan Proposal dan Laporan Program Pengaabdian Berbasis Kemitraan
Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi
wabarakatuh. Let me introduce myself, I am Dr. Ahmad
Saifudin, M.PdI. On this occasion,
I will share material on
compiling a
partnership-based community service proposal as well as
reports and outputs of the
Unisnu Jepara real work lecture program. Let's take a
closer look.
Okay, happy viewers.
So, in every real work study program,
we as students are required to
prepare a community service proposal
.
This proposal is important because when we
can prepare a good proposal,
we can carry out the KKN program
smoothly without any obstacles.
This material aims to
equip students in the process of
preparing partnership-based service proposals
. It is hoped that after following
this material, students will be able to
follow the stages of preparing a
proposal properly and also ensure
that the KKN outputs can be met.
Let's start with the definition of a
partnership-based community service program.
So, in the real work lecture, all
participants are asked to carry out one
mandatory program, namely a
partnership-based service program.
KKN participants
are asked to choose one partner in groups
who will be accompanied from the
planning process to the evaluation process.
After compiling a proposal,
KKN participants are also required to compile
a report.
As a proposal with
scientific principles, participants are also required
to fulfill the criteria
in accordance with the existing systematics.
At least a partnership-based service proposal
starts from the cover page, then the
approval page,
there is an abstract or summary, then
there is a table of contents, a list of tables, a list of
figures for example, then
attachments.
As the core of the proposal, we will
divide it into five chapters starting from
the introduction,
problem solutions, implementation methods,
outputs, and target achievements, as well as the
activity schedule.
Proposals usually end with a
bibliography.
Academically,
the rules for writing a
community service proposal refer to
scientific principles.
Administratively, please use the
standard Times New Roman font size 12
with 1.5 spacing and also
use A4 paper size.
Viewers, happy KKN participants.
The first time before we prepare
a proposal, we start by carrying out
observations.
The hope is that we can
determine the proposal title appropriately
according to the partner's needs. In
determining the title, we can follow
standard rules. For example, firstly, the title
must use short,
clear,
concise and informative language.
And the title must also be
easy to read, easy to look at, and not
give rise to ambiguous interpretations.
Well, it would be better if the title also
included the name of the partner and the location of the
KKN placement village.
Among the examples of titles that can be
chosen are
training in making educational props
or APE based on waste and
interactive media for early childhood education teachers
. for example, if we take
school partners or for example, if we want to
assist
EE MSMEs or perhaps
community organizations, we can also
use relevant titles.
After the title,
we usually write an abstract or
summary.
The summary essentially contains the
essence of the entire proposal. which
we will compile. Therefore,
technically this summary is usually written
at the very last phase. However,
in the systematics of compiling a proposal,
the summary is placed after the title. We
follow standard rules.
The number of words in the summary
should not exceed 500.
And make sure the summary includes
the problems currently being faced by the
partner, then the solutions offered
by the KKN participants as community service providers.
Then the output target to be
achieved.
The summary may also contain a
brief plan of proposed activities.
Next, after the summary, we move on
to the introduction.
KKN participants write an
introduction section containing at least two aspects.
The first is situation analysis and the
second is partner problems.
Please refer to the standard fonts
that have been determined by the committee.
When citing references,
try to use the Mendele or
Zotero application by selecting the fan style.
We will assist each partner in at least
one
priority issue.
Whether it is in the production aspect, for example,
business management,
marketing,
packaging
or for example for non-productive partners,
we can assist in the
human resource development sector.
In the situation analysis process,
we will identify the profile of the
partner we choose. This profile starts
from name, location,
number of members, then for example
documentation
as a complement.
We will then put everything into the
situation analysis section. The
partner we choose can be from
one of three types of partners. You can
choose the first productive partner.
Productive partners mean partners whose
income or earnings are
profit-oriented or who can
earn income from
production efforts.
Then the second, non-productive partners.
Non-productive partners mean partners who are
not profit-oriented in their daily activities. For example,
schools, religious institutions,
and so on. And finally partners
towards productivity. Maybe the partner
already has the motivation or intention to
start a business. but still need
assistance from the aspects of human resources, production,
facilities or others. So,
please, KKN participants choose partners that are
most relevant to the conditions and
needs in their respective villages.
Then in the second introductory section
is the aspect of the
partner's problems or issues.
The partner's problems are adjusted
to the type of partner we choose.
If the partner is productive, we can take
one problem. for example in the
production sector, management sector,
marketing sector,
packaging sector, or others. If
the partner is non-productive, it means our focus is
on assisting with issues
related to service quality, related
to improving human resources,
and for partners to become productive, we can
provide assistance to
resolve problems regarding production,
marketing, distribution, or others.
Therefore, ensure that in the narrative of
this partner's problem, we write it
clearly and support it with
quantitative data.
Next is the part of the
problem solution.
After we have successfully selected a partner,
we have
discussed with the partner
what problems we will assist with,
then we will agree on a
solution offered by the service team. Of course,
this offer is based on the results of deliberation
and communication with partners. Because
the essence of the community service process
is to solve problems
according to the needs of partners. The
problem solution should
not be written in more than 1500
words.
Express according to the
chosen topic. Of course this topic must have an
innovative feel.
Then the solution offered
must be based on the
real problems experienced by the partner
and based on an agreement between the
KKN participants as the service team and the
partner as the service location.
Furthermore, we need to formulate the solutions offered
systematically and
each solution
is expected
to have a clear target or output.
Is the target, for example, to increase
production aspects,
strengthen human resources or something else? And
each solution will be proven by the
output that we must fulfill.
We can narrate it in the form of a
table, present it in the form of a graph
or image so that we can narrate the solution to
this partner's problem
well.
This is an example of when we formulate a
problem solution using a
table model.
For example, our partners are MSMEs as
productive partners. The aspect that we will
accompany is the production sector.
It turns out that after we conducted a
situation analysis,
the partner experienced problems in the
chip production process.
Starting from the monthly production quantity which
has not increased much, then the
taste variants are still monotonous. Well,
we can accompany that after we discuss it
with our partners. Then we agreed that
the solution means we have to provide
training, we have to provide
mentoring, that is also allowed or sufficient
with socialization.
Well, that's the solution we agreed on. From
that solution we then set
targets. The target must be clear and as
quantifiable as possible.
For example,
80% of employees improved their skills
in making innovative chips with
various flavors. Well, 80%
is a quantitative figure
so formulating targets will be
better when we can display
quantitative data.
For example, non-productive partners are the same
. For example, we assist in the
marketing management aspects of promotional schools.
When there is a problem, for example, one school institution has a
limited number of students and each year there is
no increase. Well, then we
look for a solution. What is the solution? Oh,
that means training in the use of
graphic design to support the promotion of the schools
or madrasas that we assist.
The target must also be clear. For example, 80% of
teachers and educational staff can
make flyers or promotions for accepting
new students.
Okay, my fellow students that I am
proud of. Then we will enter the
next systematic part of the
implementation method. The
core of the implementation method is a
narrative about the service process that
we will carry out.
Will the service be in the form of
outreach,
training, or
mentoring
? which can guarantee the continuity
of this service process is not
interrupted only by KKN participants,
but can be continued after
KKN participants are withdrawn from their
respective villages.
To make the implementation method section more
interesting,
the devotee can also formulate or
present it in the form of a table or
graph.
The important thing is that
the table can detail or
describe the processes
or methods that will be
implemented in implementing the
community service program.
And this section usually shouldn't be
more than 2,000 words. It must not be more
than 2,000 words.
Well, this is
an example of
the presentation of the implementation method section.
So, starting from the problem,
solution, target. Well, just add
one column in the table, namely the
implementation method. Whether it is training,
mentoring, or socialization
depends on the partner's needs that
have been agreed upon with the service team.
Next is the presentation of outputs and
target achievements. Of course, in the proposal
we must set external targets.
Minimum output in the KKN process. The
first is a report on a
partnership-based community service program.
Then there are mass media publications
as additional output. Later, it could also
take the form of a scientific article that we submit to a
journal, or perhaps we could make the
product of our service an
intellectual property right
so that it can later have an impact on our
partners.
Then, as a mandatory output, we also
have to make a video or documentary film
that summarizes
the process of implementing community service from start
to finish.
And no less important, we are also
asked to compile biographies of
NU structural figures
in the form of features or in the form of
biographical books, depending on what is
agreed upon by the KKN committee.
And every solution we offer
must have a clear target to achieve
.
Next
we will present the implementation schedule section
. Of course, during the
40-day KKN program, starting from the first day to the
last day, we will determine the schedule
or timeline for the service process.
For example, in the first week we will
visit
potential partners. In
the second week, we will discuss the
priority issues that
we will assist with and so on until the
final week in the form of the
final output of the report on
the process of implementing community-based service
.
Then the proposal structure ends
with an attachment containing the biodata of
each team. Then a description of
the science [clears throat]
and the technology applied. So, in
this section, please maximize our
writing in 500 words. We explain that
there is a picture of science and technology applied in the
service process.
For example, we use
learning media when accompanying
teachers at school. Well, this means that
science and technology are in the form of learning media.
Well, apart from that, we also need to
attach a
letter of statement from the partner regarding their willingness
to be accompanied by the service team. Well,
this letter will be signed by the
partner's leader.
Finally, you can take a
screenshot of the location map
from the campus to the partner location.
so that it will be clearly visible
how many kilometers the
service team has to travel from campus
to the partner location.
So, administratively, the
proposal description will begin with a
cover or cover page,
followed by an approval page. Please
see the details
in the KKN guidebook.
The systematics of the report are actually
not much different from the proposal which is
compiled
from chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3. Well, it is the same
as the proposal that we compile. In chapter 4,
we will narrate the process of implementing
community service,
entitled the results and outcomes
achieved.
For example, if the proposal that is
prepared and the implementation are different,
then automatically
the preparation of the report must also
be adjusted to the
actual activities. This means there is a narrative change
between the initial proposal and the
final report. Then in the fifth chapter,
we will write the conclusions of the results of the service
and also the suggestions that we can
provide, ending with a bibliography
and also attachments.
Well, administratively please check
[clears throat] the manual using
Times New Roman font. The size is 12, the
exact size is 1.5, the paper is A4.
In preparing the results achieved,
we need to distinguish between
mandatory outcomes and additional outcomes. The
mandatory outputs include, for example,
final service reports,
accumulation of videos, and then scientific articles
. If additional output can be in the form of
IPR or intellectual property rights.
Then, in the conclusions and suggestions section,
please
summarize the essence of the
community service implementation process and the results
achieved. So, the suggestions we
provide can be directed to partners
or related stakeholders who frequently
interact with partners. The
supporting attachments for the final report are
almost the same as preparing a proposal.
There is team biodata, a letter stating the
partner's willingness, and a letter stating
that the implementation of the service process
has been completed. Proven by a list of
attendance for the implementation of community service, materials and
photos of activities, as well as other
relevant evidence. For example, if this community service process
has become a scientific article and
has been submitted to one of the
community service journal articles, then it is permissible to
add a screenshot of proof of
submission or proof of sending the
journal.
We can access everything in full
in the guidebook which can be downloaded on the
Unisnu KKN page, namely at
kkn.unisnu.ac.id.
Thank you,
see you again. Hopefully, the
KKN process can run smoothly,
can provide benefits to partners
and we can uphold the
good name of the alma mater. Wallahu muwafiq thik
warahmatullah wabarakatuh.
