RAHASIA HIDUP TENANG DAN BAHAGIA, DIMASA TUA - CERAMAH KH ZAINUDIN MZ TERBARU 2025
Asalamualaikum
warahmatullah
wabarakatuh. May
the peace,
mercy, and
blessings of Allah be with you too.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Muslim brothers and sisters, may Allah have
mercy on them.
Everyone wants happiness
and no one wants
misery in this life. But
in fact, not everyone who wants to be
happy knows the path they must
take to reach
that happiness.
So on the occasion of this meeting
I would like to convey a hadith
from our lord the Great Prophet
Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
Amen. The
book is Mukhtarul Ahadis
An-Nabawiyah. Where he said,
"Arbaun min saadatil mar'i." There are four
things that are signs of a
happy person.
I want to ask, among the
brothers present here, is there
anyone who wants to be miserable?
No.
Everyone certainly wants to find
happiness.
So according to the recipe from our Prophet, the signs of a
happy person are four.
So if you want to be happy you must
have these four things. The
first person is happy, said the Prophet
Darun Wasiun.
Having a house can be nice as long as it's big.
It's easy to organize.
Instead of having a small house, there is a hut
on the edge of the river. If the rain leaks
sideways, it will be the end of the world.
Oh, if that's the case, Islam is materialistic.
This hadith can be interpreted with its
true meaning, the true meaning. It can
be interpreted as a figurative meaning, a
figurative meaning.
If it is interpreted figuratively,
then what is meant by darun wasiun aqbun
wasiun, a spacious house is nothing other
than a spacious heart. Because that's where
the key to true happiness lies.
Even though we only live in a
2*3 m plot, if our hearts are wide,
the house will feel wide. But even though
our house has a yard of tens of thousands of
hectares, there is a swimming pool, the
bedrooms are countless. If
the heart that occupies the house is narrow,
then the house will feel narrow too
. The place to depend is none other than the
heart.
Let us try to see various
people's views about happiness.
There are people who think that happiness is
when they get as much wealth as
possible.
Whoever has a lot of wealth is king.
Everything he wants can be bought. For
security, he can hire officers.
All the facilities to make
life enjoyable can be purchased. In short,
wealth is everything in life.
Until there is a saying,
"Innadahima
fil amakini kulliha taksur rijala
mahobatan wa jalala. Indeed, wealth,
dinar, dirham, money everywhere always
makes the people who have it great.
Try to look at people who have money and
those who don't have money, not
their lifestyle, just their walking style is different.
Wahya lisanun liman ar fasohatan wahiya
silahun liman aritala.
Money is the most powerful weapon
for people who want to go to war and the
most accurate tongue for people who
want to speak. If you speak with a
blocked tongue, try to speak with
smooth wealth.
Until there is a saying like that, everything
can be arranged with wealth.
So among people who have
such views, all their life activities are
only focused on how to
collect
as much wealth as possible.
no matter halal haram, do not know the
evening, morning, noon and night, do not have time to
prostrate, far from religion, far from
spiritual life, far
from Allah and so on.
Until in the Qur'an it is grouped
into a group called lumazah.
Alladzi jamaa ma waadah Yahsabuahu
ak. They accumulate
as much wealth as possible
and think that
this wealth can perpetuate their lives,
perpetuate their wealth, perpetuate
their happiness.
Dear audience,
if this view of life is correct, meaning
that wealth is the
only thing that can make
people happy, there
will never be tears of suffering in a luxurious home.
Of course, in a place where all the facilities
support life, there is no such thing as
suffering.
But joy and sorrow, sadness and happiness,
smiles and laughter belong to
everyone. Whether they have wealth or
not. It is clear that wealth
alone is not a guarantee
that people will be happy. Even without
wealth, it is difficult for people to be happy.
I want to tell you, there is a super-rich person
[laughs]
named Aristotel Onesis, the Greek tanker king
.
He has reportedly up to 11 tankers alone
. He has an
airline company called Olympic
Airlines.
He has hotels in various major cities in the
world, from New York, London,
Paris, Rome and so on. He even has an
island he calls Scorpio Island. Is
that what you call rich?
Having an island is a half-hearted affair.
[laughs]
Well, he had two children. One
son was named Alexander, and the other was a
daughter named Maria, Maria Onesis.
All his hopes were pinned on his
son, Alexander, who would
continue his business,
his wealth, and his dynasty.
What happened? It turned out that the child he had
hoped for, Alexander, died
young in an accident while playing
sports. What kind of sport? It's the
sport of
jet-set rich kids.
His sport was airplanes. If he
fell, he wouldn't be picked up. He'd die.
[laughs] He
had only one daughter, Maria
Onesis. But this daughter was also a
riot.
Her last relationship was with and even
married a Russian. Apparently,
Aristotel Onesis was broken.
His abundant wealth,
his numerous companies, who
would continue? Who would
replace him? Until he
locked himself away on Scorpio Island and died
there tragically. A
multimillionaire,
a super-rich man. He died alone
on a deserted island. As the saying goes, a
chick dies in a barn. It's not a lack of
food, it's an overabundance of food.
That's life. Aristotle Onesis. And
many people are so
wealthy that they are confused by their
own wealth. Consider
the lives of David Rockefeller,
Henry Ford, Adnan Kasogi
, multi-millionaires who were
sometimes overwhelmed by
their own wealth.
It's no wonder that Imam Ali was asked,
"O Ali, if you were asked to choose between
knowledge and wealth, which would you choose?" Of
course, you would choose knowledge. Why? First,
if we share knowledge with
others, it increases, but if we
share our wealth with others, it decreases. If
you have Rp10,000, and
someone shares it with you for Rp5,000, your money will obviously
decrease. But if you share knowledge
with others, others
will be able to recite it. You will become more confident. You don't
become stupid by teaching others.
You can recite the Fatihah, then teach
others the Fatihah. People can recite it, and you
will memorize it better. It's not like your
knowledge disappears after being taught. When someone
comes, they ask someone, "Please teach
me the Fatihah." It's gone.
Second, Imam Ali said,
knowledge protects us. If our wealth... What we
must guard.
The more knowledge we have, the more we should protect ourselves
.
But the more wealth we have, the more confused
we become about how to protect it. Sometimes, if
necessary, we install an alarm around the entire house
.
It's not enough to rent a large dog
outside the door. Beware of
vicious dogs. It's
still not enough to hire
thugs who can pick up the smacks to guard the house. It still does
n't feel safe. Even though the house is
surrounded by large walls. Behind the
walls are thick doors.
Behind those doors opens into rooms.
Rooms also have doors. The doors are
strong.
Entering the rooms there are cupboards,
and the cupboard doors are strong.
The locks are strong. But
all that arises is just
anxiety.
In conclusion, once again, without wealth,
it is difficult for people to be happy. But
wealth alone is no
guarantee of happiness. A
broad heart is the main capital for achieving
happiness in life.
People with broad hearts,
brothers and sisters, have hearts that are broad
in seeing the realities of this life, they are
always grateful to God.
Then there is no jealousy or envy in
their hearts. Therefore, their souls are always
broad. If not, they are called short-sighted,
shallow-minded, and not happy to see
others get what they want. It's a pleasure. And that's often
used as an example. If a
broad-minded person sees their neighbor buy a
new TV, they say, "Thank God,
our neighbor bought a TV, hopefully
we can watch it too." They're broad-
minded. But a narrow-
minded person sees their neighbor buy a TV and
gets feverish
[laughs] and
doesn't do anything.
The next day, Meri hears that her neighbor bought a motorbike and gets even
sicker and goes to the hospital.
Then, in the hospital, she hears that her neighbor
bought a car and dies.
Tortured by her own feelings.
If a person's heart is narrow in
life, wherever they go,
their life feels narrow.
Then we also see people
who believe that happiness comes
from having a high position, a
noble rank, or great authority.
Maybe that's true, but maybe not.
It depends on the heart of the person who holds
that rank. It's the same with wealth.
Wealth will bring happiness if it
falls into the hands of a broad-hearted person
. But wealth will be a disaster
if it falls into the hands of a
narrow-hearted person.
Rank brings danger if it falls into
the hands of a narrow-hearted person.
More than that, reality teaches
us that rank and
position don't always bring
happiness in life.
In fact, the risks are too great.
Some evidence we can Take it from
world leaders who became victims
because of the rank and position
they held.
You remember President Abraham Lincoln
and John Kennedy of America were
assassinated.
Pak Cunghi of South Korea,
Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh,
Anwar Sadatad of Egypt. Most recently,
Indira Gandhi of India became a victim
of the rank and position she
held from people who were
unhappy with her holding that position.
She would easily invite disaster.
So it's fitting that a
prominent American president, Eris Struman,
said that the
presidency is like
riding a tiger, riding a tiger.
We have to ride it. If not, it will
record us. He said it was scary.
As for people with broad hearts, when
they accept rank and position,
they see it as an opportunity to
do good. But people with
narrow hearts accept rank and position
not only sometimes but also
desperately try to achieve it by
any means. If necessary, they curry favor,
curry favor. So the sumuhun dawuh group.
[laughs]
So the kulon nuwun group. Yes, sir. Those who
only do good work, boss.
If necessary, curry favor, curry favor.
If necessary, step on those below, step on those
below. You need to elbow left and right, elbow
left and right. The important thing is to get rank,
get position.
People like this, when they already
have rank and position, usually
don't view it as a trust,
don't view it as an opportunity to
do good, but rather as an opportunity
to indulge their desires, which are motivated
by their narrow-
mindedness.
Especially if someone gets a rank
because they spend a lot of money.
It's as if rank and position are
now like tender projects.
Who dares to pay this much, who
dares to step aside. Logically,
if someone achieves a position because they
spend a lot of money, it's
almost certain
that once they hold that position, the
first step they will take
is to try to
recoup their money. Well, at
least they'll recoup their investment first.
As for thinking about the people, that's a matter for later. But
this capital must be recouped. That's the disaster
if someone gets rank and
position just because they spend a lot of
money.
Rarely do people have the belief
and view that rank and position
are a trust. So once again,
rank and position might bring
happiness if they fall into the hands of a
broad-hearted person. But they can be
disastrous if they fall into the hands of People
with narrow hearts, and
again, the stress of a broad heart.
Then some of you, brothers,
think that happiness is
being famous,
having popularity,
being an idol among teenagers,
among parents, in all levels of
society.
In fact, the more popular people are, the more
bound they are. Yes, for people like us, we
have no name, we are not popular.
Hanging out at a Tegal food stall in the middle of the night is
safe.
But rank, position, status, and
popularity cause us to be bound
by various rules. Only
bathing and going to the toilet are not
escorted.
[laughs]
Is it true that fame and popularity
bring happiness? Maybe yes, but
maybe not. Why do many
popular people end
their lives tragically?
Let's take a few names.
In America in the 60s, there was the
most famous sexy star nicknamed the sex
bomb bob.
Until now, her name is
Marilyn Monroe. The
double abbreviation is the initials mm
Marilyn Monroe.
Famous until her death in 2 years
. Now people still talk about her
.
Why did she commit suicide?
She didn't have much wealth. Was she not
popular enough? The whole world
knew her.
From the common people to high officials,
she had relationships. Why?
Bored.
She was born an orphan.
Not long after that
, her mother died, she moved from
foster mother to foster mother, until she had 12
foster mothers.
And the worst disappointment, every
man who was close to her was
like a ship that had anchored.
[laughs]
They came and went, they changed. Even though
she longed for someone who could
protect her life. She longed for that
and she never found it.
That's what ultimately led to her taking an
overdose of sleeping pills,
taking too many sleeping pills. Yes, she sleeps
all the time to this day.
She admitted,
"I've had fame, but
I've never lived up to
that fame. I'm good at acting, but
I want to live in a real world
like most people." That's what he
longed for,
following in the footsteps of the Morilin
Monroe, Billy Holiday. You know, he was
treated in the hospital,
he also took an overdose of medication and died again.
Jimmy Hendrick
took an overdose of sleeping pills and
died again.
Then those who drowned in the lake,
like Joplin and
Brian John,
were popular people,
prominent people who ended their lives
tragically. Not because they weren't famous,
maybe because they were so famous. The
most recent example is Bruce Lee. Wow,
these sleazebags certainly know
who he is.
[laughs]
Even now, the circumstances of his death
are still a mystery.
And those who are still alive also show
strange symptoms. Michael Jackson's
house in Beverly Hills was guarded
in such a way and he was always suspicious
of every food. It had to be sterile,
clean from all kinds of chemicals.
Where did he go? Those
sleazebags were always guarding and
guarding him. And he seemed afraid
to show his real face.
When he appeared outside of the show, he
sometimes wore clothes that didn't
show the real him. Afraid of
being recognized. It turns out that popularity
often becomes a scourge that poisons
human life.
Therefore, our master was right
when he taught that people will be
happy if they have a
broad heart. Now, the question is,
how do we achieve a broad heart? We return to the concept of
the Quran. Allah teaches ala inna
bikrillahi tatmainnul qulub. Know
that by remembering Allah often, the heart
will be calm,
the soul will be broad.
In other words, close to religion.
Feel God's presence close in
life.
That is the first estuary to achieve a
broad heart.
Ala inna bidikrillahi tatmainul qulub.
Don't be like people today who want to
find peace by treading on
mountaintops, in caves in
quiet places. Of course, if there are no snakes.
If a poisonous snake bites, the peace is
not yet dead, that's clear [laughs]
Islam is positive for finding
peace. Ala inikrillahi tatmainul
qulubi.
Know that by
remembering Allah often, the heart will be calm, the soul
will be broad, the nuances of thought will be broad.
Because happiness is
everywhere humans are. In the village there is
happiness, in the city there is happiness.
In the canyon, in the valley, in the mountain, in In
the forest, in the ocean, in outer space,
wherever happiness is found, if we
have this open heart.
And our hearts will be open if we are close
to religion,
close to wealth. For a while, our hearts
may be calm.
But it is a relative and
temporary peace. Moreover, as people increase their
wealth, they add more plans. That's
normal.
Perhaps you previously thought,
"Ah, if I had 5,000 Rupiah, that would be nice."
Once you have 5,000 Rupiah, "Oh, what a shame
if it was only 10,000 Rupiah."
With each increase in wealth, there are different
plans.
The more plans, the further
we move from peace.
Yet, peace is the main ingredient
for achieving happiness. And
that peace originates in the human heart.
Look at this life. People with
wealth and those who are poor, is the
pain they
endure different? I don't think so. Although the
rich sleep on soft mattresses covered in
expensive silk, the poor
huddle in hard, rough bamboo halls
.
When death comes, it
never discriminates. Death comes to take
the rich on their golden thrones,
surrounded by maids,
nurses, and guards.
and even come to pick up the poor and
destitute, so that he lies sprawled on the side of
the road, both are called death.
If it is clear that the illness endured
by the rich is no different from the illness
endured by the poor, it is not only wealth
that makes people happy. A calm heart
, a broad soul full of
peace.
Because frequent remembrance and remembrance of
Allah are the main capital to
achieve something called happiness.
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
this is the first of four characteristics
described by the Prophet as
signs of a happy person.
And we must start from
this first, this broad heart
that we must have first, then
later on the
third, second, and so on.
Because if the heart is filled with a
broad soul, all problems
will be able to be resolved properly, God willing
.
Amen.
Second, now the sign of a happy person
according to the Prophet, markabun sharia. A
happy person, he said, has a
vehicle so that it is fast and smooth.
Meaning wherever he wants to go is easy.
What is the meaning of this hadith? If we examine it
more deeply, a vehicle is a means of
transportation.
Transportation is nothing more than an effort to
facilitate communication.
Moving from there to the theory that
humans are political creatures We live in a
society
where we cannot meet
our needs alone. We
need the presence of others in
this life. Just to wear clothes,
we need farmers who grow
cotton, factories that spin cotton into
yarn, factories that
weave yarn into cloth,
sewing machines, and tailors.
That's just to wear clothes.
None of us
can meet our needs
alone.
We need others. Therefore, freedom
in the absolute sense, unlimited freedom, is
impossible in life.
Because we engage in what is called
social interaction.
Every activity we do necessarily involves
others. In our opinion. Perhaps
we are free to drive as we please on the highway,
but other people driving also feel
that this is also their rightful way. And
so on.
Therefore, the purpose of
this fast vehicle is khulatuhu
maasihin.
His social circle consists of
pious people. His social circle is broad.
Wherever he goes, there are friends. He
has a place to share his difficulties.
And difficulties. If he has told
others, let's say that person
can't help, but
telling someone we
trust will at least
lessen the burden on his soul, lessen the burden.
inner burden, feeling like there's still
room for us to share.
It's better to be a layperson who wants to
socialize than a half-pious person
who locks the door. Because later on, it will
give rise to a narrow-minded attitude and
not be able to broadly face the realities of
this life.
However, what we must emphasize is that
socializing must be broad. But
never forget that socializing has a
huge influence in
shaping a person's personality. In
everyday life, we can say that if we are
close to a perfume seller, even if we
don't share the oil, the scent will certainly be
felt. True.
True.
But close to a welder, even if we
don't touch the fire, the smoke will still be touched.
To put it more clearly,
asan
mushaf.
Whoever associates with noble people
will also become noble. But whoever
befriends lowly people
will not become noble. Didn't
you see what Syauki said,
even a lowly goat's skin is kissed when it
becomes a Quran pouch. A
lowly goat's skin. If it were alone,
no one would kiss it. But once
it associates with the Quran, it becomes a
Quran pouch, perfumed,
placed in a high place, when it is
taken, it is kissed first, carried with great
respect and Be careful. Goatskin,
despised for its association with the Quran,
gets lucky.
But look at how goatskin
befriends wood, making it into a drum. After
midday prayers, it's called a drum, and after afternoon prayers, it's called a drum.
That's just a small matter. It's just a greeting, choosing
friends. Those who are friends with the Quran are respected
, those who are friends with wood because they become a
drum. Even in the dark of dawn, people are already
drumming.
[laughs]
So, especially for young teenagers
who are still searching for their identity,
like a cassette tape that's still empty and easily
filled with anything, be
smart in choosing the friends you
hang out with.
Because many people who were
good when they were dragged into
the company of bad people,
their goodness became pliable and faded
. But how many rancid bastards, people covered in stains and sin, commit sins every day, yet they associate with good people. In the end, little by little, inching and gradually, they get used to following goodness.
I emphasize this to teenagers because
they are still searching for their identity. What
they see, they want. What
they hear, they want. Curious. Just
look at the lives of teenagers.
After watching the movie Rembo, I want to be
Remembo. Brave. I
want to be able to
fly.
After watching the movie India, I want to sing all the time.
[laughs]
It's natural that they're still searching for
my identity, who I really am. The
social environment will shape that.
Therefore, be smart about your social life
because it has a huge influence in
shaping a person's personality.
Moreover, bad traits are more
contagious than good traits.
Good traits, pious character are
very slow to spread. But what's
not good is the process, when
teenagers usually first hear. Because they
hear, then they want to know. Because they want to
know, then they see. Once they see, they
want to try.
After trying, after trying, they get
addicted.
This is the process of marijuana, morphine,
narcotics, at first, that's how it is. At first,
they hear, they say, "If you fly to the
sky, you're
already floating in the sky."
That's the peak of happiness. At first, they
just hear.
Because they hear, they want to know.
Because they want to know, then they see. Hanging out
with people who like marijuana. After
seeing it, you want to experience it.
Once you feel it, it's delicious and addictive.
Once you're addicted, it becomes a
chronic disease that can spread to others.
Yes. If your parents can afford
morphine, buy marijuana. If not,
your mind wanders. Who's going to hang out the laundry?
Negative behaviors
arise from bad company. This is
especially true for teenagers
living in big cities
where cultural influences, artistic influences, and
life structures seem
increasingly individualistic.
Where competition is fierce, tensions rise, and the economy is
high, people easily experience stress.
Be smart about your social life,
because it has a huge influence
on shaping
your personality.
Happy people have fast vehicles
, meaning they have a wide circle of friends
and a social circle consisting of
pious people. Wherever they
go, they have friends. When they have difficulties, they have someone to
talk to.
But if they are alone, living
alone, thinking about their difficulties alone, they
could die before their time. There's
no place to share their feelings. There's
no place to talk, no
place It reduces the burdens of life.
It is fitting that Islam strongly
encourages and encourages people
to get married when the time comes
. The Prophet said, "Yaabab,
manumulatwaj."
O young men, if you are able to
provide for yourself, get married, get married.
Why? You already have a life partner to
share your feelings with.
Difficulties with someone to talk to are
lighter than those we endure
alone, even if the burden is just as
heavy.
Muslim brothers and sisters,
may Allah have mercy on them, this is the second characteristic:
having a vehicle for speed and smooth sailing.
Wherever we want to go is easy. In
other words, after a broad heart,
broad social circles. Two.
The third
sign of a happy person, according to the Prophet, is
misbahun mudhiun.
Having bright lights.
Oh, that's not a problem. Now it's the
era of electricity in villages, sir. The lights
are all bright. That's right, if that's what is
meant. But it's not only that.
Because the lights referred to here are lights
that will illuminate the entire journey of
life. And the journey of life has
begun from the moment we are born into this world
until we enter the realm of barzakh, gathering in the
field of mahsyar, and finally the afterlife.
The lights that illuminate are those that
required. Let
's say the top lamps
right now are Mercury type lamps.
Put it in our house. He just
lights up our house. I can't even light my heart
.
If we enter the realm of barzakh, the realm of
the grave, can the mercury which is so
bright illuminate our realm of barzakh?
Can't take it anymore?
Can lamps of hundreds of watts
or even tens of thousands of watts illuminate
life in Padang Mahsyar?
If so,
what is meant by bright lights here?
Nothing other than the good deeds
we do in life will
become a shining light.
In the world our names will be bright.
Our bodies may be buried in the ground, but
people will remember our names.
That's how people leave
virtue in life. Like now
thousands of people make pilgrimages every time to the
grave of Imam Syafi'i, to the grave of Imam Malik,
to the grave of Imam Ghazali,
to the graves of good people,
pious people, whose
virtues were left behind. who
engraved his name in gold ink.
Until your brother was lying in the
grave, people passed by, "God, this is so and so
bin's grave So and so used to be
good. Masha Allah, I
feel it too. Let's stop by for a moment
we fatihah.
Please convey the reward of
Al-Fatihah to the deceased
if he was a good person."
Then the brother asked, "Sir, are dead people
sent Fatihah? Did the
reward arrive? I replied, "If you
don't believe me, then die first.
I'll recite the Fatihah later, wait for me there."
Suppose I never come back here again.
Oh, now I just want to brainstorm
. If it doesn't enter your brain, you won't
believe it. Even though the unseen realm
cannot be tampered with. It's
the same as you've heard
the story of a ship without gold sinking, right?
Have you ever?
Once. Where?
Salembo.
Salembo,
yes. In the sea of Mas Lembo. Once the boat was fully
submerged, hundreds of passengers jumped
into the sea, being carried by the waves, struggling
to face their deaths. That
person is floating and sinking in the ocean,
being hit by waves. We'll look at it using a
helicopter. Sir, you're drowning again, aren't you
? Yes Please, please. Don't
worry, sir. Here, I'll send you some diamonds,
sir. the price is Rp. 10 million. [laughs] Do
you think people who appear and drown in
the sea are happy?
No. It's
expensive, right? Intan IDR 10 million. Why is
n't he happy? Because Intan R10 million
in such a condition is not enough to
save him. He would be happy if he
was sent used car tires,
stretched boards or bamboo.
He wasn't happy about the IDR 10 million diamond. I'm
holding a used car tire worth 1000 silver. That's what he's happy about. That's right.
This is why the Prophet said, "Mal
mayitu fiqrihi illa kalqil mutagwis."
People who die in their graves are
like people who arise and drown in the
ocean. Yantaziru dawatan min ahli.
Waiting for prayers from his surviving family
. Oh, my father has passed away.
I really love him. Ah, send a
refrigerator to his grave. Ah.
It's the same as before. A person who
drowned in the ocean was sent a diamond
worth R10 million, but it never arrived.
That's how even if the virtues we
leave behind in life are dead,
people will still visit our graves. But
if we leave behind evil,
never mind people praying near
our grave, it will be scary.
That bastard died buried
there.
Don't, don't, don't go past there or you'll be
possessed. Don't [laugh]
just pass by a scary person who is supposedly
reciting Fatihah and sending prayers.
Life is essentially an opportunity
to do good. So once the
opportunity is given, make the
most of it. Because there
will never be a second chance.
The opportunity to do good is here, in
the afterlife it is called retribution. Once
that opportunity is taken away, it will
never be returned. Iqbal said,
"Life doesn't go backwards, man.
Stop being stepped on by people, going backwards is destroyed. There
is no such thing as going backwards in this life.
Stop being stepped on by people, going backwards is sinking.
There is no other word. You have to move forward in
life. In a positive sense,
life is an opportunity to
collect
as much goodness as possible. That is
the value of humans.
Nowadays, it is not visible that
people with many merits and those with
many sins are not visible.
Maybe after committing a sin,
their heads get bumped.
Maybe people are afraid of sin. But
now it's the same. People with many
sins and those without many sins
walk together from behind, they don't
look any different.
But there are times when merits
play a role where sins
are shown. It's the
same as if we drive a car during the day,
the lights don't really work.
What then says, "Ah, these lights are
heavy, just take them off."
There's no need for that. Why? At some
point, evening will come. When
the sun sets, dusk comes,
darkness begins to creep in. That's when the
need for lights is felt. Rewards. That's it.
Now, people who have no merits It's
not invisible in life.
But at some point, the twilight of life
will come, death will take our lives, night will
creep in, and life will be shrouded in
darkness in the realm of Barzakh. At that time,
if we don't have a lamp, how
unfortunate we will be.
Because the Prophet said that good deeds in the realm of
Barzakh will be created into a
beautiful woman to accompany us.
Evil deeds will be the
ugliest person to accompany us.
Already in a dark place that accompanies the
ugly.
[laughs]
Muslims, may Allah have mercy on us,
if that's the case, it
depends on how we use our
time wisely. Time is
so fast. What is called time,
suddenly it's 7 years old, suddenly it's like
this, suddenly it's like yesterday,
today's children have children.
Suddenly, time passes so quickly
.
If we don't
use it wisely,
we will lose.
The Prophet said, "Manana yaumuhu khairun
min amsihi fahua."
Whoever's day is better
than yesterday is a fortunate person.
Today is better than yesterday.
This month is better than last month,
this year is better than last year.
That's a lucky person.
Last year, they only prayed Maghrib
, now they've added Isha.
[laughs]
Last year, just Eid al-Fitr was
really threatening. Now they've added
Friday, then added Maghrib, then added
Isha, and so on. Today is
better than yesterday, that's a
lucky person.
Yaumuhu mlu amsihi fahua khasir. Then
whoever is the same today
as yesterday is a loser.
Today is the same as yesterday, the loss is that
this month is like that, last month is like that,
this year is like that, last year is also like
that. That person is a loser. What loss? Loss of
age. Age increases, but deeds never
increase.
And I think it's more of a punishment
than a blessing if someone is given a
long life only to accumulate sins.
Which is better, a long life with many sins
or a short life with few sins. Which is better
? Which is
better?
Yes. Yes. The most preferable is certainly a long
life with many rewards.
But if not, once again it's more of a
punishment than a blessing if
someone is given a long life but only
to accumulate sins. Losing
awareness that the world is not the
final terminal of a journey. It's just a
stop at Where we stop for a moment
to head to the
true terminal.
Muslim brothers and sisters,
may Allah have mercy on them,
this is the lamp that will illuminate
life, the
deeds we do in
life. So what is meant by a
bright lamp is the virtues we
do in life. Well, everyone, as
I said earlier, wants to be happy.
Happiness is essentially a collection of
joy and safety.
Happiness and safety.
What's the difference? Happiness but not safety is
not happy. Safety but not
happiness is not happy. For example,
if someone is corrupt, they have
a lot of money. They are happy. But
their safety is not.
There are soldiers lined up next to their house,
confused. Even though the soldiers are training.
The soldiers are just training, they are confused. They are
happy, but because their safety is not
guaranteed, they are not happy. On the other hand,
honest civil servants only
get their salaries. Happy, not corrupt,
but poor. Yes, not happy either,
not happy enough.
Pleasure and safety are for this world
only. Yes, once again, if it's only
for this world, it can be bought with money.
It can be bought with money. If
you want safety, you can buy it with
money. If you want happiness, you can buy it
with money.
But after death, you enter the realm of barzakh.
Money's power is gone. You
can no longer buy safety. Using
money. It's no longer possible to buy
pleasure with money. That's where merit
plays a role.
The more merit, the more shares
to buy pleasure and salvation
to obtain happiness.
And don't forget, in the realm of barzak, we
don't wait for the apocalypse to come for a short time
.
Well, yes, if we are buried
and the apocalypse comes, it's fortunate.
But if we still have to wait 1,000, 2,000,
tens of thousands of years to come
in a long wait
without shares to obtain
happiness, a misfortune that never
ends.
Don't be tempted by
fleeting, deceptive happiness at the expense of
true,
long-term happiness.
What's the point of a momentary smile if it has to be
redeemed with tears? Life span.
Let us drink bitter herbal medicine, it's
bitter indeed. But tomorrow our bodies are healthy,
rather than drinking syrup now. Sweet
is delicious, but tomorrow's lips will be
sore.
Sirawan, coughing profusely.
Many people are deceived by
fleeting pleasures. After all,
not everything that glitters is
gold.
Not everything that glitters is
diamond.
Therefore,
let's take advantage of
this opportunity given by God to gather
As much goodness as possible.
Amen.
Finally, the fourth
sign of a happy person. The Prophet said,
"Zaujatun shihah." The
fourth sign of a happy person is, the
Prophet said, "Have a wife so you'll be beautiful as long as she's
obedient." Being beautiful and
obedient is already in heaven. A wife like
that, if she's not dead yet, don't bury her
.
[laughs] She's
already beautiful and obedient.
But sometimes she's not. She's ugly and always
acting up.
What would you choose?
[laughs]
That's why the Quran says that a
wife is clothing for her husband, and a husband is clothing
for her. Why is a husband and wife
likened to clothing? How high is the
Quran's style of language.
Husband and wife are life partners. Life is a
long journey. Since we were in
the womb, there's been life here, right?
Up to the worldly realm, into the realm of
Barzakh. Gathering in the field of Mahsyar until we
reach the afterlife is a journey of life.
Look for a wife or husband, a life partner
who brings benefits. Not only
life in this world, up to the realm of
Barzakh, up to the Field of Mahsyar.
The husband may die first,
or the wife may die
first. But the husband or wife who is still
alive does good, my husband When someone
dies, I give his wealth to charity.
The intention is to reward my late husband.
This life partner is
unlimited and cannot be separated
even by death.
Their physical appearance may be separated, their physical appearance may be,
but their heart, their soul,
their togetherness in facing
life.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, the language of
the Quran is beautiful. Husband and wife are likened
to clothing.
What is the function of clothing? First, clothing is a source of
pride. This means that the husband must
be the pride of his wife, and the wife must
be the pride of her husband. Second,
clothing functions to cover the aurat (private parts).
This means that
husband and wife must protect each other's shortcomings. Husband and wife should not
reveal each other's secrets and shame
.
The wife's bad news is told
everywhere or the husband's secrets are revealed
in the public market.
[laughs]
That no longer functions as
clothing.
Why is all this necessary? Because we
realize that a good nation consists of a
good society. A good society is
composed of good citizens
. Good citizens are composed
of
good households. And good households
are composed of
good individuals.
From there, the steps begin. Building
a good nation begins with
building a household. Good character is achieved by
developing good individuals.
From this, it is hoped that
good values will develop.
People will be happy to have a pious wife
. Why? No husband
can be successful. So whatever he is, whatever
his profession, whether a doctor, a religious teacher, a
preacher, a farmer, a businessman, or a
high-ranking official, no
husband can succeed without the participation of
his wife. Although this role is
not very visible, it is very
crucial.
Therefore, ladies and gentlemen
, Islam highly values
women.
It gives them a high position
as long as it does not kill
their feminine nature.
Now, if this success begins
at home, a career in society is
easy to pursue, but a mess
at home is the
first failure elsewhere. Well, that's all
Al-Fakir can convey at
this meeting.
