Que solamente Jesucristo podía pagar como Dios hecho hombre y de esa manera al Cristo pagar ese castigo, satisfacer la justicia de Dios, restaurar el honor de Dios que se le debía a Él porque todos lo hicieron.

No hay absolutamente ninguna buena obra que puedas hacer en el transcurso de tu vida que abone a tu favor la deuda que tienes con Dios por tus pecados. No hay nada que puedas hacer que satisfaga la justicia de Dios por tus pecados. Tu deuda sigue vigente. Ofendiste a Dios. Te burlaste de Él. Ignoraste su justicia. Y ninguna de tus buenas obras te pueden salvar.

Ya para el punto número tres, muchos ya se ofendieron más. En el punto uno, el Evangelio fue tremendamente ofensivo. En el dos, también. Pero en este punto tres, ya es el colmo para los humanistas. Porque los humanistas piensan que el centro del ser humano somos nosotros mismos. Que dentro de nosotros hay una fuerza muy especial, que es la fuerza del amor y del universo. Y que podemos salir adelante en nuestra propia sabiduría. Eso es absurdo ante Dios.

Efesios 2, versículo 8 y 9, dice el apóstol Pablo, porque por gracias soy salvos, por medio de la fe. Y esto no de vosotros, pues es don de Dios, no por obras, para que nadie presuma, para que nadie se gloríe. La salvación es un regalo gratuito de Dios.

Y justo en este punto número tres hay una línea de división entre la palabra de Dios y el evangelio de la gracia de Dios y todas las religiones del mundo que son mentirosas y falsas. Porque todas las religiones del mundo enseñan un sistema de salvación por obras.

Recuerdo cuando yo era adolescente, tenía un amigo muy católico, me llevó con uno de los sacerdotes ahí en una iglesia, aquí en Ciudad Satélite, y nos sentamos ahí a desayunar con este muchacho, era un muchacho joven, sacerdote católico. Y comenzamos a platicar y yo le formulé una pregunta, le dije, oye, mira, yo tengo una pregunta para ti, ¿cómo puedo hacer para ser salvo? Yo quiero ser salvo, yo quiero conocer a Dios, quiero conocer a Cristo, ¿cómo puedo hacer para ser salvo?
