BLAZING FAST NEW CACHYOS HYPRLAND SETUP // MAKE YOUR CACHYOS PERFECT 2026

This is Celestia Shaw 2.0 that turns

your Kali OS into lightning fast hyper

land experience.

In today's video, I will show you

exactly how to install, configure, and

customize the Kali OS with brand new

hyper land setup.

This turns your system into most

polished desktop environments.

The first make sure you have a fresh

installation copy of Kali OS with no

desktop on your PC or laptop.

Check out this video for detailed

instructions.

In my case, I have already installed the

Kali OS with no desktop alongside

Windows 11 on the same drive.

Now, let me go ahead and log in into

Kali OS using my credentials.

After installing Kali OS, make sure your

device is connected to the internet. And

as you can see, when I ran the ping

command to check the connection, I was

successfully receiving the packets.

The first thing to do after installing

the Kali OS is to update your system.

Just go ahead and type this command to

update your system.

Now, let's go ahead and increase the

console font size by typing this

command.

It's to install the essential packages

using Pacman.

Now go ahead and run this command to

install Git, Wget, Curl, and other

required packages.

Then we need our helper. I will be using

Paru.

Now simply clone this repository by

typing this command.

Then navigate into Paru and run this

command to install it.

Once the installation is done, just go

ahead and delete the cloned repository.

And as you can see, Paru has been

installed successfully.

To install Celestia Hyperland on CachyOS

or any Arch-based distribution, we first

need to install the Celestia CLI using

Paru.

Once it's done, run this command to

install the Celestia.tar.gz.

Now follow the on-screen instructions

carefully. You may be asked multiple

times to enter your password to confirm

package installations.

This process may take a while and

depends on the speed of your internet.

And there we go. Celestia Hyperland has

been installed successfully without any

issues.

Next, go ahead and run this command to

install GDM.

Then go ahead and run this command to

enable GDM service.

Once it's done, start the GDM by running

this command.

Then from the bottom right corner,

choose Hyperland and enter your password

and login.

And just like that, we are inside the

brand new Celestia Hyperland

environment. This thing looks fantastic.

It's recommended to reboot the system to

affect all the changes.

And these are some of the default

keyboard shortcuts you can use to launch

applications, manage windows, switch

workspaces, and much more.

Now, let's increase the terminal font

size.

Go ahead and open terminal by pressing

super plus D.

Then navigate to this configuration

directory using this command. And this

is where all Celestia configuration

files are stored.

Then open terminal configuration using

your preferred text editor and look for

the font size option. Then change the

value to 20 points, then save the file.

Now close terminal with super plus Q and

reopen it using super plus D.

Now you can see the increased font size.

Now hovering your mouse cursor on the

top center of the screen opens system

control panel.

It has four sections: dashboard, media,

performance, and weather.

The dashboard shows the time, date,

weather, and system information.

The media section lets you control audio

playback. The performance section

displays real-time CPU, GPU, and memory

usage.

And the weather section displays the

current weather information.

You can press the super key to open the

Celestia application launcher where you

can access all of your installed

applications.

It also supports built-in commands. Now

simply type right angle symbol to view

the list of available commands.

Now from here, you can switch between

light and dark mode, change wallpapers,

and much more.

>> Now, let's open settings application.

You can also open settings by hovering

over the bottom right corner of the

screen.

Now, using the settings, you can enable

transparency across the interface to

enjoy beautiful blur effects.

The panel section lets you customize the

dashboard, taskbar, launcher, and

sidebar.

To get the latest Hyperland features,

improvements, and bug fixes, simply run

these commands to update the Celestia

shell.

Celestia also comes with a sidebar with

useful widgets.

It includes our workspace switcher, a

floating window shortcut, and quick

access to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, battery, and

other system controls.

Now, hovering over the icons reveals

smooth animations and extra information.

And the power menu provides shutdown,

reboot, logout, and suspend options.

You can also adjust volume and

brightness with the built-in sliders.

Now, let's go ahead and create a custom

keyboard shortcut. Celestia uses

Lua-based configuration for Hyperland.

Now, these files let you customize

default applications, key bindings,

display settings, and much more.

Now, let's create a custom shortcut to

launch Chrome browser.

This is the Lua syntax used for defining

key bindings.

Now, simply replace the key combination

and application name with whatever

shortcut you want.

Now, for this example, I will assign

super plus G to launch Chrome.

After adding the brand new key binding,

just go ahead and save the file.

Now, when I press super plus G, Chrome

opens instantly.

Overall, CachyOS with Celestia Hyperland

is incredibly impressive. It delivers

one of the most elegant Hyperland

experience with smooth animations and

modern design.
