Is it just me or

0:03

does it feel like

0:05

things are slowly falling apart?

0:10

Like when I go online these days,

0:14

it feels like everybody's just so

0:17

angry all the time.

0:20

It doesn't even matter what you're

0:21

talking about. It doesn't matter what

0:23

community you're in

0:25

or what the subject matter is. It just

0:28

feels like everybody online just wants

0:30

to fight constantly.

0:36

And I used to love going to social

0:37

media.

0:39

I loved going online and interacting

0:41

with my community.

0:43

But

0:45

these days I don't even want to do that.

0:48

I don't know anybody that does.

0:50

Just in my own personal experience when

0:52

I go online. And it's definitely some

0:54

platforms more than others, but

0:57

I mean, I love movies,

0:59

but it's a terrible time to be a fan of

1:01

anything

1:02

when it comes to social media.

1:05

Because a trailer will come out and

1:06

everyone will tell you

1:07

the million different things that's

1:09

wrong with it, that you're not supposed

1:10

to be a fan of it.

1:12

The people who were never interested in

1:13

it or were never going to watch it

1:14

anyway just try to destroy it and tear

1:17

it apart. There's There's two ends of a

1:19

spectrum now. It's not even a spectrum.

1:21

It's everything has to be perfect or

1:22

everything has to be terrible.

1:24

There's no in between. There's no

1:26

There's no place for nuance or boredom

1:29

in the current online landscape. There's

1:31

no wait and see. You have to make up

1:33

your mind immediately, and everyone will

1:35

make up your mind for you. And even just

1:38

in the gaming sector, which I adore, I'm

1:41

so involved with gaming all the time,

1:43

but a trailer for a game will come out

1:45

and people will tell you that the women

1:47

in it are too ugly and use AI to fix

1:49

them

1:51

to be more appealing, to be more sexy.

1:54

There's definitely a a subset of people

1:57

within the gaming community that are

1:58

really just driving things backwards.

2:01

Now, this topic is clearly bigger than

2:03

any of us. It goes much deeper than

2:06

anything that I feel like I have the

2:08

capability of even

2:10

talking about. I don't think I have the

2:11

abilities to dig into something so

2:13

nuanced.

2:15

But,

2:17

despite what you see online with people,

2:20

I do genuinely think that most people

2:23

out there are good people. They just

2:25

don't often get a chance to showcase

2:27

that or to show how good they can be.

2:30

And that's what I'm really good at is

2:33

rallying people together to try and help

2:35

them fight for a specific cause. And

2:39

every year we come together to do just

2:42

that

2:43

with Thankmas.

2:45

That's right. It's back and it's bigger

2:48

and better than it's ever been before.

2:50

We didn't do Thankmas last year, but

2:52

this year we're going hard and we're

2:54

partnering with Make-A-Wish. They are

2:57

such a good organization because they

3:00

bring people together and I've seen it

3:02

firsthand. I personally have granted

3:04

over 30 wishes with Make-A-Wish. I've

3:06

gone to conventions to do them. I've got

3:09

to be in the room while everyone's all

3:10

together and it's all smiles all the

3:13

time.

3:14

I've done them over Zoom. I've had them

3:16

bring people to Brighton to meet me. And

3:19

every single time I leave so uplifted,

3:22

so happy, so enamored by the fact that

3:26

not only do they bring people together

3:28

as a community, they do good work and

3:30

it's just so positive and nice all the

3:32

time. Thankmas. Make-A-Wish. Wishmas, if

3:36

you will. Now, I said that I have

3:39

granted over 30 wishes on my own, but

3:41

our goal as a community as a whole is to

3:44

grant 300 wishes.

3:47

But, what does that actually mean?

3:49

Follow me.

3:50

There, there, boys.

3:52

Take it easy.

3:54

Don't mind them. I'll take it from here.

3:57

What it means is that every $10,000 that

4:00

we raise during Thankmas is one wish

4:02

granted. Now, a lot of you at home are

4:05

doing very quick mental math out there,

4:07

and it's not even that hard, but

4:09

I couldn't do it.

4:10

But that means that 300 wishes

4:13

is $3 million.

4:16

Now, that seems like a lot of money, and

4:19

it is.

4:20

But I've got an ace up my sleeve.

4:24

Because Thankmas isn't just happening

4:26

once this year. Thankmas is happening

4:28

now until the end of the year. That

4:31

gives us 5 months to be able to raise

4:33

money. I'm still going to stream in

4:35

December for Thankmas, but announcing it

4:38

now gives us so much runway for all of

4:41

you out there to get together, form

4:43

communities,

4:45

get your pets, your family, your

4:47

neighborhood, your school, your friends,

4:49

your audience, whatever you have, to

4:51

start your campaigns. It gives you way

4:53

more time to start planning. Now,

4:56

all of you content creators out there,

4:58

any of you large, small, in the middle,

5:01

whatever size audience you have, please

5:04

sign up to do this. I can't do this on

5:07

my own. I'm no Superman. Scrubs

5:09

reference. So, I need your help as well.

5:12

Any of you who want to get involved, you

5:13

can sign up. You can go to the link in

5:15

the description, to make your own

5:16

campaigns.

5:20

But that's not the only ace I have up my

5:22

hole.

5:23

Because thanks to the generous

5:25

supporters of Make-A-Wish, everything up

5:28

to the first $500,000

5:30

will be matched dollar for dollar,

5:33

making you an even cooler, sexier person

5:36

if you start a campaign now. Everything

5:39

that you raise is going to get doubled.

5:42

What more reason do you have than that

5:43

to start raising money right now? It

5:46

makes it even easier. So, the race is

5:48

on. Who's going to be the first one to

5:49

start a campaign? Who's going to start

5:51

raising money first? Which community

5:53

will come out on top? Is it weird to

5:55

make charity competitive? No, because

5:58

I'm serious and I want to raise the most

6:01

amount of money that we've ever raised

6:02

for Thankmas. I want to go big or go

6:05

home and I hate going home.

6:08

So, there you have it, folks. Thankmas

6:10

2026 is underway. The Wishmas race

6:13

towards the end of the year to raise $3

6:15

million for Make-A-Wish starts now. If

6:18

you want to sign up, again, go to the

6:20

link in the description,

6:21

thankmas.tiltify.com.

6:23

Or, if you know anybody who wants to

6:25

sign up, please spread the word as far

6:28

and wide as you possibly can, especially

6:30

to you creators out there who have

6:32

massive audiences who could really help

6:34

raise a bunch of money. If there's any

6:36

companies out there as well who want to

6:38

sponsor Thankmas, please let me know.

6:40

It's all going towards a good cause

6:42

because if we all come together and we

6:43

all try our best, we can do something

6:45

incredible for children.

6:48

Because I don't know about you, but I'm

6:50

getting pretty sick of seeing all the

6:51

same cynical, negative all over

6:54

my timeline all the time. I'd rather us

6:56

all come together, focus our efforts,

6:59

and do something good for a change.
