I became the most wanted man in the war

Howdy.

As usual, a massive war is cracking on

the island of Everon. Soviets with their

AK74s and BTRs versus the US with their

20 iners and their better BTRs. [music]

But what happened with the most recent

update brought a whole new army into the

mix? This guy with a funny Swiss camo

jacket and a pistol. The reason this guy

is so dangerous, well, he has nothing to

lose. He has no job, no bedtime, and his

sole purpose, his entire new playable

faction's purpose is not to win. No, no,

no. It's actually impossible to. His

purpose is simply to explode,

to sneak, to steal, sabotage, mine. Did

I say explode? Did I say mine? Everyone

on the map as much as humanly possible.

So, who is this unemployed? No bedtime

guy. It's me. That's That's me. I get

that's been there in the form of just

process of adding the new faction. For

starters, they made driving worse. Cars

now have physics comparable to Buoie

Knife 999, who happens to always have

friction and 9,000 horsepower in a Ford

directions that absolutely make no

sense.

Why do the tires screech on dirt?

Remember that inventory bug where you

try to move a stack of something and it

would randomly swap positions with

another stack? After 4 years and 11

days, that bug has finally been [music]

squashed. It doesn't do it anymore.

Let's go Bohemia. Big big dubs. Big win.

But it came at a cost. That inventory

fix required so much energy that all 200

sexillion stars in the observable

universe went out. For the first few

weeks of this update, the night sky was

empty. This update spent 7 months in the

oven. Did the testers not look up? The

foliage is now oddly oversaturated. The

lighting around sunrise and sunset is

doing completely normal things. And my

gun is now covered in Vaseline. I hope

it doesn't glow in the dark. Oh no, it

does. You know, this reminds me of the

helicopter bug where one of the two

in-game helicopters you can actually

play with uh slowly rotates on the

helipad from torque that's somehow being

applied despite the rotors being

completely stopped. I wonder if after

535 days since I even reported it, if it

still does

that. I'm joking around here, but I

spent two weeks making this video

because whenever I play Armory Forger,

uh, half the time it ends in the server

crashing or dealing with bugs that would

have reasonably been fixed years ago.

That's how helicopters work. That's how

they work. Next year is the year of Arma

4, and I hope it gets better. I hope

that maybe the legacy of Reforger can be

that, "Oh, that was a fine game. I think

they eventually fixed it.

M4s or M16s, I guess. I walked for no

longer than 30 seconds before a guy

literally handed me an M16 on the

ground. And so I was ready to go and

attack this Soviet point. If the Soviets

were even there because if the Soviets

weren't there, we were going to steal

all of their stuff.

here is called Montignack. That is this

city over here. And the objective is a

group of tents that are usually placed

somewhere around where the camera is

rotating right now. You'll see it in

this video. Uh why I'm giving you some

context here is that this is an

extremely hot frontline objective. Over

here, right next to Monty is Entree and

the radio tower of Entreeu. That's what

the the base you just saw us go and

attack. And then also Monty is a great

overwatch to a place called Province,

which is down here in this area. And

then Province is a really good overwatch

for this place called Fagari. And these

are all extremely frontline objectives.

These are always fought over almost

every match. Like if the match isn't

ending soon, these are the objectives

that are being fought over. This is why

you see this area featured probably a

lot in my videos of vanilla armor. So

when the FIA uh sits on a position, they

don't actually capture it. They just

contest it. And it's interesting because

contesting a place disallows the enemy

from spawning there. So FIA can sit

there and just use their assets, their

ammo, their supplies against whatever

teams are trying to recapture the point,

even though one of the teams has it

captured. Like the Soviets could have a

point captured while you're sitting on

it as the FIA. So both teams, blue and

red, will be coming in from the right

and the left, and the FIA will be

sitting there in the middle just

disrupting all of them. If the FIA kills

one helicopter with nine guys in it, the

Huey, that's a whole squad that has to

go reorganized and spend another 10

minutes getting themselves set up and

then flying out again. The effect this

has, if the FIA kind of contest a point,

is that it makes the front line

extremely hard to budge because one team

simply cannot use their own base and the

other team simply can't attack it. It's

interesting. It's not a huge change, but

I do think it's cool.

Well, gamers, that is the end of today's

episode. It was quite a long one. This

was actually uh over 20 hours of footage

that I put together over about a week of

time, I'd say. [music] And um I I know I

kind of like showcased all of Forgers

issues and that it's primarily just

because whenever I'm talking about the

quality of a game, I kind of take into

consideration like how long the game's

been out. Uh I don't really care about

the word early access or the word alpha

or the beta or whatever state the game

is in. If the game's been out and

publicly playable for a long time, then

I'll like I'll judge the game based on

the amount of time it's been publicly

purchasable and playable, right? So, I'm

getting harsher on Reforger, but that

doesn't mean it's a bad game. I just

think that it still could use a lot a

lot of love. [music] Um, but I keep

coming back and I can play this game for

20 hours because honestly, one of the

main things that keeps drawing me back

is and I especially just after I edited

this last portion is just the people.

Like I can play Reforger [music] and

anywhere from like the the funny fanboy

guys halfway through this episode or I

don't know like the the last the last

couple fights here where we were with a

really tactical I would say just well

organized squad. It was more like a fire

team but we were still doing like a lot

of dam like crazy damage in the forest

just the couple of us. Um, I love

meeting the people in these games

because they're just they're they're

usually, you know, that age group of

like 20 to to to I would say like 35,

40. [music] Um, but and that's that's

where I'm at. And it's just so cool

meeting people. And I always am so

surprised when people go and and freak

out and they go, "Oh my gosh, you're

operator Drewi or whatever." [music] And

I always think that's the funniest thing

cuz I feel like a normal person. I still

feel the same way I did when I first

started making videos. And so if I ever

am awkward or if I'm ever seemingly

awkward and just like maybe even a

little quiet or something, I try to not

be, but I I never understand what you

guys feel [laughter]

whenever you're excited [music] to say

hello to me in game. I just just know

like I never understand it. I can't I

still can't grasp it that you guys know

who I am and that there's an audience of

people watching these videos. I know

there's numbers there. Okay, cool.

Views, subscribers, doesn't matter. I

still don't understand it. You can't

rationalize it past a point [music] of

even a hundred or a thousand

subscribers. It doesn't make sense

anymore. Um, so that's why I come back.

Honestly, it's to meet cool people in

these games and to make funny moments

and to make cinematic moments and just

like, dude, in the first half of this

video, I was running around with just

like 20 random dudes that I had just met

and we were having a great night. Like I

I think that's one of the most magical

things about these Milsome games is that

they connect kind of like a like-minded

group of people that are roughly, you

know, in in the uh in the more milome or

milome mindset. What am I trying to say?

Not even in the milim mindset, but more

of a charismatic social interaction

mindset like when you play Battlefield,

but even like in Battlefield. I played a

couple rounds of Battlefield the other

day. Really enjoyed it actually. The new

like Cairo Bazaar map is pretty cool. Um

I played the new gold mud as well.

cool maps. They're they're very very

good updates. I think the game needed

that. The game needed some better maps

in my opinion. Um but I was playing

those and I just like I was I just

realized by the end of the night I was

just alone playing the game, right? When

I come to Arma, especially a game like

Reforger where it's like more of a

public server uh format, you are

instantly thrown into a match and your

effectiveness in the game can either be

doing like solo stuff, which works

sometimes. As you can see in some of my

videos, I'll I'll solo for a couple

hours straight almost and uh we can do

some crazy good damage. But also like

the beginning of this episode where we

were running around is like 20 FIA guys.

Um just kind of uh taking the squad

leader role almost of those guys and and

seeing where we wanted to go and telling

them, hey, let's let's organize and go

this way. Uh that was just a really

really cool experience and I like I like

that. I think it's I think it's

something special that we have as young

adults. I would say I still think I'm a

I'm a kid. I feel I feel like a kid. I'm

28. Um but I think that's something

really special. I tried to record this

last part like eight times now and I

can't say it right. This is the month of

men's mental health awareness. And um I

lost a buddy back in June 6th of 2019.

He was my buddy Via. You might not know

that name unless you're a super longtime

fan. uh because it was 2019 when we lost

him, but he was a regular on the the

channel. He's my Korean buddy who moved

to Texas after a lot of uh bad stuff

that happened. Uh he took himself from

us and I don't want to mean I don't want

to be dreary at the end of this video,

but we didn't know we didn't know a

thing. A lot of people say talk to your

buddies and talking to your buddies in

that manner means that you kind of maybe

know what's going on in their life that

you kind of have a feeling. Um, so I'm

going to say something that's not

exactly for the people out there who

might think a buddy is in trouble. This

is for the buddy. This is for the guy

who's

watched me shoot random people and watch

people lag out on arma for an hour and a

half. Uh, that may not be having the

best time in life. If you're feeling

lonely, if you don't have people to talk

to, if you don't have friends, every

single friend, every single regular on

my channel you've ever seen, every

single person you see that's more that's

in more than one video is a person that

I met randomly online. I I would say 99%

of them. Only 1% of the people in the

cast of and crew of my channel and all

the people that surround it are actually

people that I've met in real life. If

you're lonely, if you don't have people

to talk to, to hang out with, a game

like Arma is kind of one of the best

places to go to because you can see it

in these videos. I'm meeting so many

people that are in the same exact

demographic. They have the same

interests and I'm just chilling with

them for a night and another night and

another night, another I'm just meeting

new and new and newer people every

single night. Some of these dudes, they

would add me on Steam

like they we play an hour and they're

like, "Boom, hey, we're friends. Let's

connect. Let's play some more games."

And uh I think that's super cool. I I

think it's uh the modern age is tough,

but it is easy to find people that are

possibly feeling the same way as you

that you can connect with and chill with

and hang out and talk to. So talk to

people. If you're having issues, talk to

people. And if there's no people to talk

to, buy a cheap used Xbox and lag out

with some new friends on Arma.
