The street of Hormuz is a narrow place on the sea. Here it is on a map. The small triangles are ships. At the narrowest point only a few ships are sailing. Before the war, many ships were sailing through the street of Hormuz. They transported oil and gas. Because there is war, only a few ships are sailing now.
