The boat people were right

Howdy.

0:07

I've spent the last two weeks learning

0:08

how to play this boat simulator game

0:10

where you blow your friends up with

0:11

torpedoes. I'm convinced that if I know

0:14

your favorite ship class in World of

0:16

Warships, I can make a pretty educated

0:18

guess on the kind of person you are.

0:20

Battleship players are regularly lobbing

0:22

shells the size of combat cars across

0:23

entire zip codes, trying to delete

0:25

someone from existence with a single

0:26

click. Holy Nice citadel hit,

0:30

baby. Destroyer players are three white

0:32

monsters deep and are flying around at

0:34

Mach Jesus, spotting half the [music]

0:35

enemy fleet, dumping torpedoes on a lead

0:37

pursuit into anything with a pulse. Oh,

0:39

I'm going to have to eat a torp. I'm

0:40

eating a torp for breakfast.

0:43

[laughter]

0:43

>> Cruiser players with their well-rounded

0:45

doit all boats are the type of people

0:47

where you ask what genre of music they

0:48

like and they answer honestly

0:50

everything. No, you don't. Pick one.

0:53

Carrier players are playing a completely

0:55

different game than everybody else. and

0:56

under the water. Submarine players are

0:58

conducting psychological warfare the

1:00

entire match and everybody hates them.

1:02

Which is why today World of Warships has

1:04

sponsored this video to showcase 250

1:08

years of American naval history by doing

1:10

what World War II era America did best.

1:14

Blowing up boats. The problem is I have

1:17

never played more than a couple rounds

1:19

of World of Warships. I have more

1:20

experience shooting an M240 Bravo at a

1:23

branded Humvey from World of Warships.

1:30

Needless to say, it died.

1:36

>> Who's the crackhead in the car?

1:38

>> So, when it came to this boat combat

1:39

game, I didn't know how the classes

1:41

worked, how the progression grind

1:43

worked, how the pacing of combat worked.

1:44

I was effectively brand new to this 2

1:46

weeks ago when I started playing. They

1:48

gave me an account with every single

1:50

ship unlocked, but I wanted to get a

1:51

feel for the game naturally. I then

1:53

grinded the entire line of US ships

1:55

until I unlocked something that was most

1:56

useful to my enjoyment of this game.

2:05

Submarines. Look, I didn't even know

2:07

subs existed in [music] this game. Maybe

2:09

because they're literally underwater and

2:10

not seeing them is kind of the point,

2:12

but subs are terrifying and everyone

2:14

I've talked to in game fears them. Sub

2:17

players are seen as these sneaky slimy

2:20

vermin, which is why my ass, whose

2:22

interest can be summarized in this list,

2:24

u I was born to be that vermin. But the

2:27

subs themselves are not really seen as

2:28

the strongest class. Highly skilled

2:29

destroyer players in the rounds I've

2:31

played are always racking up so much

2:32

more damage. And staying alive in these

2:34

submersible little boats is extremely

2:37

easy to mess up. If you get spotted in

2:39

the wrong spot within range of anybody,

2:41

you're done instantly. But in the right

2:44

hands, submarines can literally hold an

2:46

entire flank by themselves [music]

2:47

through pure intimidation. I may have

2:50

done this once. I think I held the

2:52

entire team from pushing this left side

2:54

of the map by simply letting them know I

2:56

was in the area, but not getting close

2:58

enough for any of them to find and shoot

2:59

me. The survival onion. Don't be there.

3:01

Don't be detected. Don't be acquired.

3:02

identified. Don't be hit. Don't be

3:04

penetrated. Don't be killed, baby. It

3:06

was really cool. After blowing up

3:07

someone with my little sonar listening

3:09

telephone poles in that round, I then

3:12

saw a destroyer rushing at my carrier

3:14

and I knew I had to save him, that I

3:16

might be his only chance. I wrote in the

3:18

text chat, "Hold on, CV." And then

3:20

rushed south, sent the torps, pinged his

3:23

side, and landed the most most precise

3:25

strike on a boat I've ever done.

3:31

And then I typed.

3:33

A lot of these subs, at least in the

3:34

American lineup, are modeled after real

3:36

life subs from the time. The specific

3:38

one I like the most, even if it's not

3:39

the best, you can get if you grind the

3:41

US fleet destroyers. You can branch off

3:43

the destroyer path at tier six to grab

3:45

the first sub, the catch a lot. The

3:47

catch aot.

3:49

And getting to tier six actually

3:50

happened way faster than I expected. And

3:52

with some tips, you can do it faster

3:54

than I did. If you're new, use the link

3:56

in description. It gives you a pretty

3:57

ridiculous head start. You'll get a

3:59

million credits, 7 days of premium, 500

4:00

deloons, the premium cruiser USS Albany,

4:03

the premium destroyer USS Smith, and

4:05

after 10 battles, your choice of the

4:06

South Carolina St. Louis, or the Wix.

4:10

Wait, where where is the Wix?

4:13

Oh, I already unlocked it. Okay, makes

4:15

sense. I did not need to grind this, by

4:16

the way. They didn't tell me to. The

4:18

press account literally had even the

4:20

most rare boats unlocked and playable.

4:22

But within 2 days, warships had turned

4:24

me into a loophole optimizing loot

4:26

goblin. Daily login mine. Tutorial

4:28

rewards mine. Daily containers mine.

4:30

Combat missions mine. I grinded

4:32

originally all the way to the Nicholas.

4:33

When I got to the Nicholas, I went to

4:35

the equipment and I went up here to

4:36

economic bonuses and I put stuff like

4:38

these little bonuses on every single

4:40

tab. I maxed them out. I then went into

4:43

battle. Had probably the craziest round

4:45

I've had this far.

4:49

>> Ooh, the citadel hit.

4:52

>> Holy torpedo direct front. Torpedoes

4:56

port.

4:56

>> Does this guy think he had me? Did you

4:59

think you had me? Bye-bye. What was

5:02

that?

5:04

Oh my god.

5:10

Oh my gosh. I citadel hit him as well.

5:13

That's insane.

5:15

See you. Goodbye. Holy crap. That was

5:18

one of my best rounds, bro. Just a

5:20

casual 615 credits. Oh my goodness.

5:25

Wait, what? Oh, cuz I had a I had a ship

5:28

XP plus 800%.

5:31

Oh my gosh. That's like all I needed to

5:34

unlock the next class, I'm pretty sure.

5:36

Right. And then after winning that

5:37

round, unlocked the Farragut. Did one

5:39

more round in the Farragut. You

5:41

challenge me while I have my torpedoes

5:44

ready. Bad idea, buddy. See you in the

5:48

lobby.

5:51

>> [laughter]

5:52

>> Take a lead.

5:54

>> Yippee. And then had enough to get the

5:56

cash a [music] lot. Yep. Yep. Easy.

6:00

Easy.

6:01

All right. All right. All right. Let's

6:04

go. Went from here to here in like 25

6:06

minutes.

6:07

Whoa. Whoa. I am the plane. I am the

6:09

plane, Viper. I'm the plane.

6:11

>> Yo, he's the plane.

6:12

>> I'm the plane. The cool part is most

6:14

sponsored videos I do are for paid

6:16

games. You'd have to pay money to get to

6:18

play the content you see in the video.

6:20

The neat part about Warships is that the

6:21

game is entirely free and the ships

6:23

you're going to see in today's episode

6:24

are also achievable within two nights of

6:26

playing the game. It also runs on

6:27

anything newer than an R7240. That is a

6:30

2013 graphics card. And if you don't

6:32

have a PC, the game is also available on

6:34

console as World of Warships Legends.

6:36

Also, for the employed dads out there

6:37

who may not have 4,000 hours a week to

6:39

sweat this game, you may be in luck if

6:41

you're a little intimidated about

6:42

playing against other players that could

6:44

have those 4,000 hours. Within the first

6:46

two nights, I unlocked co-op battles and

6:47

operations, both of which are against AI

6:50

only. You're still going to get the most

6:51

progression from random battles more

6:53

than any of the other two. Operations is

6:54

pretty good as well as far as I've

6:56

played. And it also has a lot of cool

6:58

scenarios that have like custom

6:59

objectives and side objectives. You can

7:01

do primary and secondary tasks. Viper

7:03

and I played this for two days straight

7:04

and had a really good time. Hey, a

7:06

little pipsqueak. Turn around.

7:11

>> You are not much bigger than I am.

7:13

command. Whoa, whoa. Also, the game is

7:14

aware you have no idea what you're doing

7:15

at the start of it. So, the lobbies in

7:17

those random battles are going to be

7:18

primarily AI when you first begin the

7:20

game. And then as you progress through

7:22

the tiers of the game, then you start to

7:23

get players flowing in. Cuz when I

7:25

started playing the game, I didn't even

7:26

understand there was armor piercing

7:27

rounds. Oh, I'm getting good shots on

7:29

him. Yeah, I'm getting eight non-pins.

7:32

Never mind.

7:34

>> Sorry, 11 non-pins with three pins.

7:37

>> Yo, I'm getting good shots on him, dude.

7:38

And a pro tip for this early grind in

7:40

the game, the game doesn't really care

7:41

about big damage numbers. It cares about

7:43

what percentage of any ship's HP you

7:46

remove. So if you're fighting bots early

7:48

on, ignore the big boats entirely and

7:50

just bully the little guys. Doing 50%

7:52

damage to a small boat with uh 16,000 HP

7:56

is roughly the same progress as doing

7:58

50% damage to a battleship that has

8:00

53,000 HP.

8:02

>> There's a Yamato.

8:03

>> There's a Yamato.

8:05

>> True. There's

8:05

>> There is. Look at the HP on that thing.

8:07

Do not shoot it. It will explode.

8:09

Honestly, a lot of progressing at this

8:10

early stage as well is just simply

8:12

playing the battles you don't even have

8:13

to win. But back to the cool subway we

8:15

unlocked. The real USS Cash Aalot. Catch

8:18

aot uh was one of America's earlier

8:21

submarine designs from the 1930s.

8:22

Relatively small, carried a few

8:24

torpedoes. If it was a video game, it

8:25

was like the alpha version of future

8:27

subs to come. But it did have one secret

8:29

trick. It was the first American

8:31

submarine equipped with a torpedo data

8:33

computer, which sounds incredibly

8:35

futuristic until you realize it was

8:36

basically a giant mechanical fridge

8:39

calculator whose entire purpose was

8:41

answering the question, where will this

8:42

guy regret existing in about 3 minutes?

8:45

In game, the torpedoes from this thing

8:46

are a little different. They actually

8:48

home onto sonar pings, kind of working

8:50

like a little Fox one missile if you're

8:51

a flight sim guy. Once fired, they'll

8:53

initially run on their original

8:55

intercept course, perfectly straight.

8:56

But if the sub player then lands a sonar

8:59

ping on the bad guy, they'll start

9:01

steering towards the ship. It is so

9:03

deadly. I mean, I get it. It's nasty,

9:06

dude. The trade-off is that as a

9:08

submarine, you're constantly managing

9:10

your battery. That's actually one of the

9:11

more realistic mechanics in the game,

9:12

although much different time frames.

9:14

Diesel electric submarines couldn't run

9:16

their engines underwater because diesel

9:18

engines need air to breathe. So once

9:21

they submerge, they switch over to these

9:23

massive banks of battery stored beneath

9:24

the deck the crew walked on. If you ever

9:27

want a really good view inside of these,

9:28

there's an awesome video by a YouTuber

9:30

named Destinations of History. I'll put

9:32

it on screen right now. Uh, go check

9:33

this out. It is 2 hours long. I found

9:36

this at 1:00 in the morning and stayed

9:37

up till 3 watching this video and

9:39

learning everything about the last

9:40

diesel Navy submarines. Very good video.

9:43

I am now a walking submarine fact book.

9:45

In World of Warships, that gives you

9:47

about three minutes underwater before

9:49

you have to come back up and recharge.

9:50

In real life, those batteries could

9:52

actually keep a submarine moving

9:53

silently for hours or even days at very

9:56

low speeds. But eventually, every diesel

9:58

electric submarine had to surface or

10:00

snorkel to recharge themselves. And I

10:02

never thought about this until now. The

10:04

problem with surfacing, see this thing

10:06

down here? This is your mini map. You

10:08

know why they made a default keybind to

10:10

make it bigger? Because you're going to

10:12

look at this a lot more than you think.

10:14

This blue dotted line around me is the

10:16

range at which I can be seen if an enemy

10:18

is within that radius. If I go to

10:20

periscope depth, one down from like

10:22

floating on top of the water, it gets

10:24

considerably smaller. You can see it

10:25

going down, right? Shrinking, but I'm

10:27

still going pretty fast. If I fully

10:29

submerge,

10:31

I go entirely [music]

10:33

dark. You're now really slow, but you're

10:36

also really quiet.

10:48

Come on.

10:50

Yeah, buddy. Yeah, buddy.

10:54

He's gone. He is gone.

10:58

No way he survives.

11:02

Oh,

11:05

destroyed.

11:06

>> You can go under people without them

11:08

even knowing. And it's not even a it's

11:10

not even uncommon for this to happen.

11:12

I'm right underneath him. Wait, that's a

11:15

dead one. Oh my gosh.

11:17

Don't move. Don't move one bit. If you

11:22

save up your battery for just the right

11:24

moment, you can dive right before you

11:26

get within range of someone and just

11:28

start lobbing corpse left and right. But

11:31

dive too far into an enemy formation and

11:33

you'll run out of battery, forcing you

11:36

to breach the surface of the water once

11:37

again and open up your 6.5 km of

11:39

visibility again and then everybody

11:41

kills you. This is where the sub and

11:43

submarine comes in because now you're

11:44

playing submissive to the massive

11:46

cannons and bombers coming at you from

11:49

things like the USS Lexington

11:52

aircraft carrier. I thought it looked

11:53

really cool. I drove 3 hours to a town

11:56

on the coast of Texas. I walked the

11:58

shores barefoot with a funny hat on that

12:01

gives me magical powers to see in the

12:03

dark. I then bought a ticket and got to

12:04

walk on a big boat. Oh, this is the

12:07

Lexington. Why did they make a boat like

12:09

the one in World of Warship? That's an

12:10

F-14A Tomcat. You can tell that by the

12:13

way it is. That's a Hornet and that's a

12:15

glowy guy on the beach I saw while

12:17

absolutely sober.

12:21

[music]

12:34

>> [music]

12:35

>> Go

12:40

videos ahead.

12:41

>> Yeah, after spending a lot of time on it

12:43

the last two weeks, it's a pretty fun

12:44

game. I don't make videos. I don't want

12:47

to spend time editing videos of games I

12:49

don't like. And I did not know that

12:52

World of Warships had the depth it has.

12:54

and I didn't know that it had the

12:56

community that it has. Pretty fun.

12:59

Anyways, the rest of this video is a lot

13:01

more raw gameplay, less of this yapping,

13:05

right? Raw gameplay to show you how

13:07

rounds run in World of Warships. I'm

13:10

running the USS Pensacola as well as the

13:14

USS Catch a lot.

13:17

Cashalet

13:19

Kosh. Starting you off with a

13:22

cruiser match here because cruisers are

13:23

the kind of do-it-all boats in the game

13:25

if you want to play all different types

13:27

of combat. Cruisers can be fast. They

13:29

can have torpedoes. They can also be

13:31

kind of like lightweight battleships in

13:33

a way. They're a little lighter, a

13:35

little faster most of the time than

13:36

battleships. And so they're a good

13:37

well-rounded boat. It's very easy to get

13:40

into heavy action with a cruiser. And so

13:42

I'll start you off with a cruiser round.

13:47

This uh battleship next to me, his

13:48

username is something I I enjoy and I

13:52

associate with. It's Sticky Loins.

13:56

>> Sticky Loins.

13:57

>> I love that guy.

13:58

>> What a guy. What a guy. What a lad.

14:02

12 clicks out.

14:05

Will I hit? He's going very fast.

14:07

>> I've also just made this battleship

14:09

completely turn back towards his spawn.

14:13

>> Nice. and he's going.

14:15

>> So, he's going to be late to the fight

14:16

anyways. There's so much like spacing

14:20

that you can create with the aircraft.

14:22

Even if you're not doing damage,

14:24

>> you just force people to turn a

14:26

direction.

14:26

>> Anti-aircraft gun crews are on full

14:28

alert.

14:28

>> There are three destroyers. I just

14:30

noticed. Oh, he's right there. 10

14:33

clicks.

14:35

Probably 15 now. Is he going to go cold

14:37

again?

14:39

>> Oh, my guns are off.

14:43

Oh, I don't know what just happened to

14:44

my guns. Destroyer.

14:46

>> I guess I shot. Oh, is that going to

14:47

hit? Oh, I hit him a little bit.

14:50

One pin, baby. One pin. Big

14:55

>> good damage. Good damage.

14:56

>> I think we're overextending, though. I

14:58

think their battleship from the

14:59

northeast is like hitting sticky loins

15:01

here,

15:03

which is not gun crews are on normal.

15:06

>> Yeah, there's two battleships and a

15:07

cruiser clumped up in the mid here. Oh,

15:09

that destroyer gone.

15:13

>> Enemy is about to have a destroyer

15:15

that's going to die very soon. Gotcha.

15:19

>> Yep, there it is. Oh, that's two

15:21

destroyers dead on their team.

15:22

>> Nice. Cool.

15:24

>> 15.

15:27

>> Oh, here's Uniball again.

15:29

>> I'm just going to keep harassing this

15:30

guy.

15:33

Just keep forcing him to turn our way.

15:38

Where is he even? Oh, he's heading at

15:40

us. Okay. Uh oh, he's going right there.

15:43

Okay,

15:45

I hit him anyways, baby. That's how

15:47

That's what it's about. That's what it's

15:48

about.

15:49

>> It's all about the Mets, baby.

15:50

>> It's all about the It's all about the

15:52

Mets.

15:54

>> Mets.

15:55

>> 12 clicks. I don't know where to shoot.

15:57

I'm going to shoot there, I guess. Maybe

16:00

that's an island. This is sweet.

16:09

Come on, sticky loins. You got this,

16:10

buddy. You got this. Sticky. You're

16:13

Nobody's got stickier loins than you,

16:15

buddy. Nobody's got stickier loins. You

16:18

are the by far the stickiest loins I've

16:20

ever seen. Don't give up now. Sticky

16:26

>> anti-aircraft.

16:26

>> He's trying to send aircraft.

16:28

>> Fighter airborne.

16:30

>> Come on. Send your jets.

16:32

you guys some interceptors.

16:33

>> We're about to get him. I think there's

16:34

torps on them as well.

16:36

>> Oh, my guns need to turn. Yep, he's

16:38

dead.

16:38

>> You guys have interceptors in about 20

16:40

seconds.

16:41

>> Cool, cool, cool.

16:43

What is this? A cruiser up here.

16:47

I may Oh, he's full health and he's got

16:50

a lot more health than I do. I'm going

16:51

to get in line with the battleship here.

16:54

He's going to come around this corner

16:56

super fast. Got interceptors.

17:01

I can drop bombs on that cruiser.

17:06

>> Anti-aircraft gun crews are on normal

17:08

alert.

17:08

>> He's not even shooting you. He's

17:10

shooting.

17:10

>> Yeah, I just lit on fire.

17:12

>> Nice.

17:16

Oh, he's sending interceptors that way.

17:18

I can't drop bombs this pass.

17:21

>> Controlled retreat west. Push hard east.

17:23

Let's go. Teammate says I'm I'm down.

17:26

I'm pushing hard east. Enemy

17:34

destroyer detected.

17:37

Oh,

17:37

>> I'm hitting this guy good. I just set on

17:39

fire again. Let's go.

17:41

I'm sending my bombers in.

17:44

>> He's got planes up.

17:49

So much happening on the map. There's a

17:51

destroyer northwest of us.

17:55

My bombers are going to get here,

17:57

but

18:00

Oh man. Holy. Terrain. Come on. Come on.

18:03

Oh, he's too low.

18:04

>> Yeah, my bombers got

18:06

>> Oh, this Peter Bennett guy, he's cooked.

18:09

He's cooked.

18:11

Boom, baby.

18:14

Non-pin. [laughter]

18:16

[gasps]

18:19

Set him on fire though again.

18:26

Oh yeah, that was nice.

18:32

>> There's so many planes.

18:34

>> Oh, torpso.

18:36

>> Torps out the wazoo. Holy torps.

18:40

>> Torpedoes direct.

18:42

>> We have interceptors to the left. You

18:43

guide.

18:44

>> Oh, I'm going to have to eat a torp. I'm

18:45

eating a torp for breakfast.

18:49

[laughter]

18:50

>> Oh my gosh.

18:52

Okay,

18:53

>> sending you a new set of interceptors.

18:55

>> Got it.

18:55

>> 20 seconds.

18:57

>> I'm hitting their uh their cruiser in

18:59

the back. Oh, he just stopped dead in

19:01

his tracks. He reversed.

19:04

He's good at the game. And he

19:06

disappeared.

19:09

Why can't we see anything? Are they

19:10

smoked? They smoked.

19:11

>> Anti-aircraft gun crews are on normal

19:13

alert.

19:15

>> Interceptors are there.

19:16

>> Yep.

19:18

Dude, this is sick. We got so many boats

19:20

all in one spot.

19:22

>> Yeah.

19:24

Shoot into the mist. I don't know where

19:26

they are. Oh, they're on the left side

19:28

of it,

19:33

dude. We're just pushing them hard.

19:35

That's so cool. Oh,

19:37

>> they're carriers to the right.

19:39

>> Okay.

19:42

Oh, am I going to hit anything there?

19:44

Ooh, yeah, I am. Nice. Set on fire.

19:50

Yeah, I see carrier. Oh, no. That's

19:52

that's destroyer. Uh, okay. Carrier.

19:55

Yeah.

20:08

I don't think, by the way, that I've

20:10

been hit this round.

20:13

>> Nice.

20:14

>> I've been like really aggressive. I'm

20:16

about to get hit, though, I think.

20:18

There's a new guy front. Torpedoes port.

20:27

>> Anti-aircraft gun crews are on full

20:29

alert.

20:33

Come on, turrets. Come on, turrets. Get

20:35

up there. Get up. Get up. Get up. Get

20:36

up. Get up. Come on.

20:37

>> Neptune's beard. Yeah.

20:40

>> Neptune's beard.

20:45

That's so many planes.

20:49

>> What a hit.

20:53

>> Oh gosh, I pissed off the wrong guy.

20:57

>> Um, this is bad. This is suddenly very

21:00

bad. We rush too fast. We don't have

21:02

enough supports with us. Uh, we got to

21:05

kill him quick.

21:06

>> You're good. You're good. You're good.

21:07

You're good.

21:08

>> My rear turrets never want to be in the

21:09

right position.

21:12

How is he not dead? There he goes. Okay.

21:24

Neptune's beard.

21:28

>> Ouch. Dude, that hurts. That guy hurts

21:32

so bad. That's crazy.

21:39

Please get the guns on him. Thank you.

21:43

>> Refreshing your interceptors here in a

21:46

second.

21:48

Gotcha.

21:50

I missed. Damn it.

21:53

I want to do it where you guys are like

21:55

driving to.

21:58

Am I shooting out in front of him? I

21:59

don't I don't know what to aim.

22:05

He's still shooting at me. That's crazy.

22:12

Oh my gosh, that's so lucky.

22:19

Oh, I'm out of range of that guy. Crap.

22:25

What a bloodbath this is, dude. This is

22:28

crazy.

22:30

>> All the fighter zones up there. I kind

22:32

of abandoned my battleship, but I was

22:34

going to get cooked if I didn't.

22:41

I had to get some heals.

22:44

>> Me and the other aircraft carrier like

22:46

ripping up mid [laughter] right now.

22:49

Trying to get closer so we have faster

22:51

response times.

23:03

>> Nice.

23:03

>> Dang. Let's go.

23:05

>> Th000 points, baby. That was a cool

23:07

round. That was just like so much

23:09

movement happened on the north center

23:11

side.

23:13

>> Yeah,

23:15

>> I got 57k damage, too. I didn't kill

23:18

anybody, but I got eight [snorts] fire

23:19

set. Eight.

23:21

>> Holy cooking.

23:23

>> There's three subs in this match. Wait,

23:24

am I reading that right? Yeah.

23:26

>> Yeah, three subs. 6.1 5.7. So,

23:30

>> man, I'm going to have a terrible time.

23:33

>> You kind of want to sit in the back,

23:34

Miller. um a little bit because or just

23:38

let other people detect first because

23:40

they're subs or I don't know. It's subs,

23:42

not destroyers.

23:44

>> Yeah, they're better in detection range.

23:47

>> I think I'm going to go play near D.

23:51

There's a nifty little island I like.

23:54

Let's go. Wait, did I spawn all the way

23:57

up here by myself? Dang.

24:00

>> Yeah, subs spawn pretty far forward.

24:02

>> Instructions.

24:04

There you go, Miller. I got some good

24:06

scouts for you.

24:08

Thank you, BB.

24:12

Okay, we're going heavy center with

24:13

these two battleships plus my cruiser.

24:18

They may be rolling a little to the left

24:24

in sight.

24:31

Oh snap. You were messing up that one

24:34

boat. Hang on. Can I put the hate on

24:35

him? Can I

24:37

>> I'm not messing him up that bad. I'm

24:40

just poking.

24:45

>> Oh, I just got a good little volley on

24:48

him.

24:49

Set him on fire.

24:53

Enemy submarine spotted.

25:02

There's going to be a lot of commotion

25:03

over at D.

25:07

Like a lot of lots of him on

25:08

>> a lot of commotion.

25:11

>> Yeah, D looks a little spicy.

25:13

>> I think I'm about to hit that uh Merman.

25:17

I think I'll land two torps on him. Yep,

25:18

two torps.

25:19

>> Nice. Damn,

25:21

>> that's pretty big.

25:22

>> Looks like more from you.

25:23

>> Yeah, from from another sub of ours.

25:25

Sub.

25:26

>> Damn, dude.

25:28

>> He's done us, man. He's cooked.

25:29

>> He is cooked. This volley.

25:31

>> He's done. Oh my god.

25:32

>> Submarine in the middle. Submarine in

25:34

the middle.

25:34

>> Sub in middle. Okay.

25:35

>> Yeah. Hang on. I just tried to like

25:37

sling a ping.

25:39

>> Oh, dude. My sonar is not up yet, but

25:41

yeah, I was totally within his guessing

25:43

range. Let's see if I can ping him. Come

25:45

on.

25:49

Ouch.

25:53

Watch it. Drew. He was out there. I saw

25:54

him. Oh, there he is. Little master.

25:56

>> He's right there. He's sending torps at

25:58

me.

26:00

>> Torpedoes to starboard.

26:03

>> I should be all right. He's probably

26:05

going to hit me with one.

26:06

>> Torpedoes a

26:08

>> He's going to hit me with two.

26:10

I'm okay.

26:13

>> Try to go over there and silent hunt

26:14

him. You have a friendly front. Keep

26:15

cutting left.

26:16

>> Yep.

26:18

>> Damn friendly. RIP. That was

26:20

>> instructions.

26:21

>> Oh, no.

26:22

>> The sub.

26:22

>> No, no, no,

26:23

>> no, no, no. I was saying subs up.

26:25

>> Yep.

26:27

>> That one Uzi sub guy is almost dead,

26:29

though.

26:30

>> Oh, what am I doing? Why did I turn back

26:32

out over here? Right in front of a

26:35

battleship.

26:41

>> There's a battleship all the way out to

26:44

the

26:46

>> the south out here.

26:58

There's a cruiser that's trying to kind

27:00

of wrap around the island as well.

27:03

I'm going to probably kill him here

27:05

actually with this volley. Yeah, he's

27:07

going to be cooked.

27:12

>> Yep, he's dead. Good.

27:14

>> Uh torpedoes on your left.

27:16

>> Good call.

27:17

>> That submarine.

27:19

I need to get in there and go whoop his

27:20

ass.

27:23

>> I think it's okay if I risk it as well.

27:25

We're already two down on their uh

27:27

cruisers, so should be good.

27:29

>> Oh, I could have put depth charges on

27:31

him before, too. I keep forgetting that

27:32

the depth charge is a cruiser thing.

27:37

So, I I if I see him again, I can hit

27:39

him. That that sub. I can kill him.

27:42

>> I'm going to get in there already. Don't

27:44

worry. I want to go.

27:45

>> He's shooting. He's shooting.

27:46

>> Oh, He's right here next to me.

27:48

>> Yeah, he is. He is I'm I'm hitting him

27:49

with dep charges

27:51

>> torpedoes direct

27:54

>> cuz he is literally right there.

27:56

>> I'm going to flank him around from the

27:58

rear.

27:58

>> Can you hang him?

27:59

>> Uh

28:01

hanging

28:03

the map always confuses me here roughly.

28:05

>> Okay. Okay.

28:07

>> Aing instructions.

28:09

>> I've been detected. me. He saw me

28:11

first.

28:11

>> Oh, there's a ship that just popped out

28:13

over here. Battleship.

28:15

>> Whoa. I'm hitting him now. He's about to

28:17

die. He's

28:19

>> There's another right behind him, by the

28:21

way.

28:25

>> Actually, I think I need to pack out

28:26

here

28:28

>> near you again, Miller. Did you see

28:30

that?

28:30

>> He's off my front left. Yeah. So, he's

28:32

in between.

28:33

>> How How far? How far? Like to the island

28:35

halfway?

28:36

>> Right there. Right there. Kind of like

28:37

that. My That's my ping right there.

28:39

>> Okay. So, he's almost at that island.

28:41

>> Yeah, he's some he's shooting somewhere

28:42

in there and he's detected me.

28:43

>> Okay. I did a uh

28:46

>> depth charge over there.

28:51

>> Got low battery. I got to eress out.

28:53

>> I see him. I just Oh, wait. No, that was

28:55

my own depth charge.

29:00

>> About to scrape the bottom.

29:01

>> I'm going to leave that bay Miller. So,

29:03

I'm going to pull I'm going to pull off

29:04

of your protection here

29:07

>> cuz I got to get shots on these

29:09

battleships over this.

29:10

>> Anti-aircraft gun crews are on normal

29:12

alert.

29:18

Random pain. Come on.

29:22

Shift AP.

29:27

>> Going to break the water line. I need to

29:28

charge my battery.

29:30

>> I see a sub off behind us right now.

29:35

>> We're off the front left.

29:37

>> Yeah, he's uh over this way.

29:41

Oh, my depth charger. Oh yeah, he just

29:42

pinged front left of me. I saw him.

29:51

>> Aaiting instructions.

29:57

>> Okay, now this guy's entering the middle

29:59

bay. So I'm going to peek him with this

30:00

battleship.

30:02

>> Yeah, he's

30:04

>> Their other sub is on D, by the way.

30:06

Okay.

30:08

>> So, one middle one B.

30:12

>> There we go, baby.

30:14

That's what Christmas is all about.

30:22

Oh

30:24

yeah. Oh yeah, that was good. I'm going

30:27

to press in on this New Mexico. Me and

30:28

this other submarine can hunt them.

30:35

Oh, that was a little late.

30:36

>> Nice. Yeah, I think I think you put a

30:38

disabling shot on him. This New Mexico's

30:39

up. Yeah, I'm going to go get

30:40

mean.

30:42

One, two, three.

30:44

me. Enemy sub.

30:49

Uh, okay. I've got eyes. I'll come to

30:50

you after I kill this guy.

30:53

>> He missed me with his ping, which is

30:54

fine.

30:56

>> Get him, Vip.

30:57

>> I might clean I might clean them up with

30:59

these torps.

31:00

>> Yeah.

31:02

Oh, what?

31:04

>> Oh, I'm getting him with this shot. If

31:06

>> one was mid-ranged,

31:10

>> the one that hit him got mid-range. The

31:12

other missed.

31:13

>> Gotcha. Okay, Miller, I'm coming back up

31:15

to you now. Oh, wait.

31:16

>> I got a submarine off the nose.

31:18

>> Never mind. I got a submarine over here

31:19

as well.

31:20

>> Crap. Scene.

31:21

>> He's diving. Drew.

31:23

>> Yep. dude. I I'm not used to

31:26

death.

31:27

>> And turning

31:29

>> torpedo. Oh, and I'm being hit by

31:32

starboard.

31:32

>> Whoa. Their battleship just got a crazy

31:34

shot on me.

31:38

>> Oh my god.

31:40

>> Hit submarine.

31:42

>> It only did a thousand.

31:43

>> Attention. Reporting the target

31:45

position.

31:46

>> Putting myself in front of him, which is

31:47

bad. I'm going to just surface real

31:49

quick.

31:54

Battery's depleted. I'm going to see if

31:56

I can clean up this battleship here.

31:59

He's on collision alert. He's behind me,

32:01

bro.

32:05

>> You've also got your other sub helping

32:08

you out there. I'm going to see if I can

32:09

clean up this battle.

32:10

>> Oh, I just killed their sub with dep

32:12

charges.

32:13

>> Going on me.

32:14

>> No, another one. I'm coming up to you

32:16

guys now, though.

32:17

>> All right, I'm I'm It's going to be a

32:19

very risky

32:20

>> N. We can get him. We can get him. I can

32:22

I can already see him. I can already see

32:24

him. Yep. Step charge out. It might be a

32:26

little late cuz he's on top. I can just

32:27

shoot him. He's on top. What am I doing?

32:32

Shots on in two seconds.

32:34

>> Two torps out on the New Mexico.

32:37

>> Oh my gosh. My turrets.

32:39

>> I've also got torpes on him, too.

32:41

>> Set on fire.

32:43

>> He is dead.

32:46

>> Nice. And we killed the other thing,

32:47

too. Nice.

32:48

>> Cool.

32:49

>> Okay. Battleship is still in the back.

32:51

All they've got is a carrier and a

32:52

battleship.

32:53

>> Yep.

32:54

>> Doing good. Okay. Okay, battleship is

32:57

way out there. I'm going to hit him

32:59

though. He's not going to like it.

33:01

Control.

33:07

>> Time to chase this guy down late. Oh my

33:10

gosh, what a late shot.

33:11

>> I still hit him.

33:18

>> Oh, that's going to hit.

33:18

>> That battleship's flooding right now.

33:21

>> It's okay, CV. You waste your time on me

33:24

cuz I have no aid. The rest of your team

33:26

is getting slaughtered.

33:41

>> I'm going to go bully their carrier.

33:44

>> Pushing A.

33:44

>> I am.

33:45

>> I'm hitting their battleship.

33:50

>> I'm trying to chase it down, but top

33:51

speed

33:53

knots.

33:55

Come on. Come on. Come [snorts] on.

33:58

That's a good shot. Come on. That's a

33:59

good shot. That's a good shot. COME ON.

34:02

[screaming] KILL HIM. NO.

34:06

We're about to win. Yep. Nice. GG's.

34:09

That was a cool crazy fight. Yeah, while

34:11

you were dealing with that submarine, I

34:12

got stuck dealing with another one. I

34:14

had to throw depth charges at him.

34:16

>> I think even though I didn't score a lot

34:17

of points, me just sitting there and

34:19

wasting his time and making him

34:20

invaluable while providing intel. And

34:22

then his his like New Mexico battleship

34:24

felt like he had to come cover him,

34:26

which let my other submarine just eat

34:28

for free.

34:29

>> Dude, I did 56 on the carrier. Got four

34:32

destroyed, five set on fire.

34:34

>> Yeah, dude. Look at the guns on this

34:36

thing.

34:38

Cruiser, by the way.

34:39

>> Yeah, that is a all. There's no torps.

34:42

>> No,

34:43

>> I guess cuz you're cruiser.

34:44

>> I do have a lot of AA capability,

34:46

though. Watch your jet. [laughter]

34:50

Watch your jet.

34:55

I'm detected.

34:56

>> Okay.

34:58

What's your range?

35:00

>> Uh 137.

35:01

>> Oh my god. No wonder. Yeah. Jeez.

35:04

>> Yeah.

35:05

>> Big old boy.

35:07

>> We're getting shot at behind the big

35:09

island here.

35:11

>> Mhm.

35:14

>> Behind it.

35:15

>> That hit me.

35:18

>> Deserved. There's a submarine that way,

35:20

too.

35:21

>> Yep.

35:21

eyes.

35:25

>> There's that battleship.

35:27

>> Torpedoes direct.

35:30

>> That's a lot of torpedoes.

35:33

>> Holy That is a lot of torpedoes.

35:36

>> They must have Oh, I thought he got hit.

35:41

Oh, he's going to get hit by those.

35:45

Jeez, dude.

35:47

Okay, he died. Good game.

35:49

>> This sub is still to the north. Probably

35:51

coming my way.

35:52

>> We've been detected.

35:53

>> Yeah, he just detected me. The sub

35:54

detected me.

35:56

>> I'm getting down.

35:58

>> I'm going to swing around and try to

35:59

play near you uh for AA. Okay.

36:07

There's a destroyer to your left.

36:10

>> Yep. I'm going after the uh uh um Oh my

36:14

gosh. Warship. Whatever. Big big big

36:16

boat

36:17

>> battle. Yeah.

36:23

Yeah. I've got good torps on him now.

36:25

>> Torpedoes.

36:26

>> Okay. Oh yeah, the other sub is shooting

36:28

at me.

36:30

>> Do I care? Hell no.

36:32

>> Our team has taken the lead.

36:33

>> Oo, get double sniped too, buddy. You

36:35

get double sniped.

36:36

>> All stations reporting the position of a

36:38

strategic target.

36:45

>> Oh, he just got hit as well.

36:48

What happened to my torps? They lost

36:50

their target.

36:52

Is he going to

36:53

>> No, they're they're still tracking.

36:54

>> Are they going to hit him though?

36:56

>> Yeah. Yeah.

36:56

>> Yeah. Let's go. Woo. Okay.

36:59

>> We've destroyed an enemy.

37:00

>> I'm still kind of concerned about the

37:02

sub over here.

37:02

>> The sub is definitely hunting me for

37:04

sure. I'm coming back right now. I'm

37:05

going to breach

37:06

>> support. No, the sub. I see him. He's

37:10

out to the left.

37:11

>> Destroyer here.

37:12

>> Oh, there's a destroyer behind me. What

37:14

do What are you doing there, buddy?

37:16

Commander, we've been detected.

37:18

>> Howdy, pal.

37:21

>> Oh, no. No. Sub's to my north. Sub's to

37:23

my north. Yeah, he's right here.

37:24

>> Low battery. It's

37:26

>> off.

37:27

>> I'm just going to keep running.

37:28

Honestly, I'm just going to keep going.

37:29

They've got smoke up so they're not

37:31

going to

37:31

>> I'm going to face away from him so I

37:33

have the best chance at maneuvering.

37:35

>> He just hit me with a ping. [snorts]

37:36

>> Gotcha. Okay, I may have to find him

37:39

then. I'm going to dive to see if I can

37:40

find him.

37:41

>> I'm going to wait to clear it.

37:42

>> Commander, we've been detected.

37:46

He might try to hit me with a ping.

37:50

>> No, if he's smart, he would stick me.

37:56

>> Okay, I see him now.

38:00

Come on, hit him.

38:01

>> There we go. Got him with a ping.

38:03

>> I don't know if he's going to clear it.

38:05

We'll see.

38:06

>> I dodged all of these torpedoes.

38:08

>> Sonar plane will be cleared. Let's go.

38:11

>> I dodged all of those torpedoes.

38:14

Holy.

38:16

Wait, what? Are those still going to hit

38:18

him?

38:20

No, no, no, no. Okay, okay, OKAY. OH,

38:23

THEY DID. [laughter] NICE.

38:25

>> Blindly ran into him. Holy. Let's go.

38:29

>> Good shot.

38:30

>> Let's go. Blindly hit him.

38:33

>> Battery depleted.

38:34

>> Huge. That was a big kill.

38:40

Okay.

38:45

Damn. I That's crazy. That's crazy. He

38:48

didn't click R fast enough, so they just

38:50

had this the direction and he just kept

38:52

on the same bearing.

38:59

Um there's probably a destroyer in this

39:01

smoke to my left. So, I'm going to come

39:02

back to you.

39:02

>> No, he's dead.

39:03

>> Oh, he's dead. Okay. Okay.

39:04

>> Yeah,

39:05

>> there's something that was still No,

39:07

something a destroyer is still alive.

39:08

There is. See the white triangle? He's

39:10

still alive somewhere.

39:12

>> I could have sworn that guy died. Okay.

39:14

>> Uh something did. There's two dead uh

39:16

cruisers.

39:39

Commander, we

39:40

>> I'm in a really bad spot right now.

39:53

You cannot run.

39:55

>> You cannot run.

39:59

Come on, Torps. Come on, Torps. Get his

40:02

ass.

40:04

He's going so fast. They're on him,

40:06

though. They're on him. Get him.

40:10

>> Get him, Torp. He's going so fast. Come

40:12

on.

40:12

>> You're good. You're good.

40:14

>> He's running as fast as he can. I lost

40:17

track. [laughter]

40:18

>> Damn it, dude.

40:23

>> Oh, I still hit him. Nice.

40:25

>> Dude, I'm cooking.

40:27

>> Oh, yeah. Sonar ping will be cleared

40:29

now. What about if I send more directly

40:31

at you anyways because I think you're

40:33

beached. You're beached.

40:36

>> Holy, he's beed.

40:40

Sonar being cleared. Oh god, those are

40:43

>> Ouch. Yeah. Yeah, I I figured that out.

40:52

>> Gota hit him with my other tor. He's so

40:53

stuck, dude.

40:55

>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's good.

40:59

>> He's got death charges over you still.

41:01

>> Yep. I'm running. Oh, he's hit again.

41:04

He's at one. He's dead.

41:05

>> Nice.

41:06

>> Let's go, dude.

41:08

>> This is my best sub round thus far.

41:12

>> Yeah, we're cleaning up pretty nice. The

41:14

start was super sketchy.

41:16

>> Mhm.

41:19

>> I'm still at 10,000 health. I'm just

41:21

like dodging. Something is something's

41:23

out here. You see that? Something's out

41:25

there. Destroyer.

41:26

>> Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Seen

41:29

>> he's probably looking. He's probably

41:30

trying to flank me. I'm

41:32

>> going to come back to you. I'm coming

41:33

back to you cuz I got no air.

41:34

>> Okay.

41:36

>> Then I'll set myself up in a righthand

41:38

turn. Then

41:40

>> I've got to reset for like at least a

41:42

minute.

41:44

>> I'll go capture a big loop on the right.

41:47

>> I'll go cap a proceed to capture that

41:49

area.

41:53

Still don't have any detectability on

41:55

them, though.

41:55

>> Yeah. Oh,

41:56

>> you're so tiny.

41:57

>> I'm a submarine.

41:58

>> You're such a little tiny ship.

42:00

>> I'm a submarine.

42:01

>> It's cute.

42:02

>> All I got is torpedoes

42:05

and a little gun on the center back

42:06

there. That's a gun.

42:08

>> To go boom boom boom boom.

42:11

>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what it does.

42:13

It's like we're going to win right now

42:14

anyway, so we're going to outscore them

42:15

in 10 seconds.

42:17

>> Mhm.

42:18

>> Dang.

42:20

GG. That was a good fight. That was

42:22

cool.

42:24

>> I can't believe we won that one.

42:25

>> I got lucky.

42:27

>> Yeah, that kill on the uh the sub was

42:29

awesome.

42:30

>> Mhm.

42:33

>> Okay, we haven't detected much out

42:35

there. That's the spooky part. We

42:37

detected a lot in the middle cuz of the

42:38

planes, but that left side, there's not

42:40

much out there.

42:42

>> No, it they're super light.

42:44

>> Weird.

42:46

Our guys are still very hesitant to dive

42:49

in to a

42:54

Oh, one of our guys is super hurt. He's

42:57

almost dead. They're going pretty hard

42:59

on our far left side, though. So,

43:02

>> Mhm. Got to be very careful here. Very

43:05

careful. Yeah, they do have smokes up

43:08

over there. Oh, yep.

43:10

>> Yeah, there's a cruiser in that smoke.

43:11

>> Uh, sub sub is out here, too.

43:14

>> Where? Like there roughly.

43:18

>> Okay.

43:20

Kind of near that smoke.

43:23

>> Yeah.

43:27

It's to the right of that smoke.

43:28

>> Cruiser in that smoke.

43:29

>> To the right of that smoke for you. Like

43:32

halfway to that island. That's to the

43:33

right of the smoke. Maybe. Oh, I see him

43:35

right now. Okay. Oh, there we go. Maybe

43:38

I can get him.

43:40

>> Oh, he's on the surface. Yep. Or a

43:42

periscope.

43:46

I didn't ping him. Come on.

43:47

>> Torpedoes.

43:49

>> He's He's going down to my

43:52

elevation here.

43:55

Got him.

44:03

>> Breach. We're taking on water quickly.

44:11

>> There you go. My tors are back on him.

44:13

We've been detected.

44:15

>> We have so many depth charges on him.

44:17

>> Hit him hard. He's dead.

44:18

>> Yeah, he died.

44:22

>> I literally I don't even know how I took

44:24

damage. I think I took depth charges

44:26

within five 8 seconds of being detected.

44:32

>> Nice. That cruiser is dead. That was in

44:35

the center. There's three battleships

44:37

back here.

44:38

>> Mhm.

44:39

>> You should have a pretty good time. Uh,

44:41

I don't see any other cruisers. There

44:43

was one more towards mid, but I don't

44:45

think there's any more on this right

44:47

flank.

44:47

>> I definitely [sighs and gasps] I'm still

44:49

going to stay in the bubble of

44:50

friendlies because

44:53

>> if I don't, I feel like air easily will

44:56

just catch me off guard.

44:58

>> All these all these battleships are

44:59

flowing towards center it looks like. Or

45:02

no, one's flowing out. Some of them

45:03

>> are coming towards us. I'm going to cap

45:05

A while I'm here.

45:10

should be able.

45:11

>> I do think we should try to shove as

45:13

much as we can on the side cuz our

45:14

friendlies are kind of struggling on the

45:16

left.

45:17

>> Mhm.

45:19

>> What's your range with those planes? Can

45:21

you go over like the whole map?

45:22

>> Infinite.

45:23

>> Infinite. Okay.

45:23

>> Infinite is cool.

45:24

>> It's just the amount of time it takes to

45:26

get there. So, that's why I have to

45:28

position closer.

45:30

>> Oh, there's a battleship poking out over

45:31

here.

45:32

>> Yeah, there's still a there's still a

45:34

cruiser like on the back side of this

45:36

island here.

45:37

>> Yeah. Yeah. Oh, wait. No, they don't

45:38

have a destroyer. They just have CV,

45:40

battleship, and cruisers.

45:43

Okay, that's actually good. That means

45:44

that I I can roam around freely.

45:47

>> Yeah, that's what I was saying.

45:49

>> Oh, yeah. Sorry.

45:51

I'm bad at listening. Uh-oh.

45:54

This guy's right beside me. Oh gosh,

45:56

he's going to take fire. I'm going to

45:57

get hit. Get away from me.

45:59

>> I think they're not sending many planes

46:01

out.

46:02

>> He's not.

46:02

>> Unless it's on the other side of the

46:03

map. Yeah, maybe he um

46:08

uh this guy's going to pop around the

46:10

right side of the island.

46:13

>> How far? Seven clicks.

46:16

Shoot my torps. I'm sending my torpedo

46:19

bombers for that guy that's on the

46:20

flank. And then give him a good old

46:23

Texas ping, baby.

46:27

>> Holy detected.

46:29

>> I might torped this guy.

46:31

>> He's not avoiding that.

46:34

No,

46:34

>> he is not avoiding that.

46:38

Oh, and I double sniped it, baby. He's

46:40

gone. He's cooked. He's cooked. Just

46:42

live, Otter. Live. Live, Otter. Yeah.

46:46

Let's go.

46:48

Charges for you.

46:49

>> Oh, true. True.

46:52

>> Enemy battleship founder.

46:54

>> Uh, it's kind of far from me. I should

46:55

be all right.

46:58

Yeah, I'm all right.

47:03

Dude, I was harassing that boxit

47:05

earlier. Got him down to half health.

47:08

[laughter]

47:12

>> Okay, I'm going to go after the

47:13

Baltimore here. I'm going to I'm going

47:15

to dive him.

47:16

>> Oh yeah,

47:16

>> before this match ends.

47:17

>> He is He is hurt.

47:20

>> Oh, he might get shot at shot at

47:22

anyways.

47:25

>> Oh wow. Holy.

47:27

>> Yeah, he's taking a lot of hits. I'm

47:29

going to shoot. Just those two guys over

47:30

there.

47:31

>> I was talking about the aircraft

47:33

carrier. I just watched him get

47:34

one shot from like 11k health.

47:37

[laughter]

47:39

>> All right. And give him a good old text.

47:42

>> Sending my bombers over for the

47:43

>> Oh, he dodges the ping. He's crazy. He's

47:46

crazy. I'm going to dive.

47:52

>> I'll give you air support.

47:55

I think those are going to hit

47:56

unttracked. Goodbye. Yep. Cool.

48:00

Those didn't even get track. GG.

48:03

>> Good job team. That was a really solid

48:05

team. Alrighty, that is the end of

48:07

today's episode. Thanks for watching to

48:10

the very end. Thanks to World of

48:11

Warships for sponsoring the episode for

48:14

today as well. Really appreciate them.

48:16

They've been very cool. And this was a

48:18

really laid-back sponsorship. They just

48:19

wanted me to cover the new event. Wanted

48:21

me to play the game. Gave some press

48:22

accounts for me and my buddies to play

48:24

with. And uh we ended up running low

48:26

rank [music] tier six most of the time

48:28

[laughter] anyways which is something

48:30

you can grind to in two days apparently

48:32

was as for what I did. Uh but I honestly

48:34

if I grind it again I could probably get

48:36

to tier six in one night. I think I

48:38

could make a new account and do it in

48:39

one night now that I know all the

48:41

bonuses and and all the progression

48:43

things that I can do. Um yeah, easy easy

48:46

I could do it in one night. The game is

48:48

fun. It is a slower paced game. You

48:50

might honestly think that some of the

48:52

like action in the episode was was

48:54

surprisingly low. A lot of times you're

48:55

spent kind of maneuvering your ship and

48:57

getting into positions to attack people

48:59

and shooting people that are very far

49:01

away with volleys that take 30 seconds

49:03

to reload. But that that pacing, it

49:06

makes it to where this game isn't a

49:08

crazy uh high energy like high ex

49:12

[music] I don't know how to say. I don't

49:13

I feel like I'm not expending myself

49:15

playing this game. I actually feel like

49:16

I can lay back and just chill and play

49:18

this game. You can also play it on Steam

49:19

Deck, by the way. It runs pretty well on

49:21

Steam Deck. Um, and obviously consoles

49:24

with the World [music] of Warships

49:25

Legends, but it's definitely a very

49:27

strategic game over like flicking your

49:29

mouse in the right spot and hitting a

49:31

head shot, you know? So, I think that

49:32

these sort of vehicular combat games are

49:35

uh do a good job at making that the

49:37

case. It's a lot more strategic. It's a

49:39

lot more about map knowledge, about ship

49:40

knowledge, knowing the weak points of

49:42

different ships, knowing the weapon

49:43

deployment strategies, and all that.

49:45

It's very, very fun getting into a game,

49:47

a big universe like [music] this that

49:48

I've never been in before and learning

49:50

new things. So, thanks to World of

49:51

Warships. Thanks for you for watching to

49:53

the end of the episode. I appreciate you

49:56

guys all very, very much and I will see

49:58

you in the next one.
