The 3-Block Rule for Perfect Minecraft Houses

Today we're building one of my favorite

house styles, the Mediterranean. These

houses are detailed, warm, and

luxurious. If you would also like to

build this house, it will be available

on the Wuilds app, but more on that

later. Let's begin. All right, and here

we are, guys, in this beautiful savannah

biome that I found, which I think would

fit perfectly for a Mediterranean style

house. So, I've cleared out a little bit

of land here, and I think I have a

pretty good block pallet in mind for

this house. I want to try something that

I've haven't really done before. I'm

going to be using I think sandstone for

this build. So, let's go ahead and grab

some of these sandstone variants here.

And then definitely for the roof, I want

to go with some granite. I think that's

very indicative of Mediterranean design.

So, we're going to have a pretty like

light beige for our walls and then we'll

have the nice traditional orang-ish

reddish color for our roof. We'll kind

of hold on to these blocks for now, but

let's kind of get the initial shape

going. So, I want to go for kind of a

symmetrical design at first, but then

when we add expansions and like

amenities, I want to make it slightly

asymmetrical. So, what I'm thinking is

usually a Mediterranean house is more of

like a high-end house for, you know, the

more wealthy class. So, I want to go for

like a nice grand entrance right in the

center. Let's kind of like map this out

a little bit. I also want to have like a

little bit of a front yard here, you

know, like with some landscaping. So,

let's kind of throw in like our front

entrance about here. I want to do like a

double door. I think like we'll start

even for the door, but then we'll end up

going odd for everything else. So, you

know what, guys? Because I'm probably

going to be using slabs for the roof.

The slabs might look a little weird if I

go even. Let's just kind of test it out.

or like our build is like that and I

want to go for like a, you know, almost

like a hip style roof. Let's see how

that would look. I'm just curious. Okay,

I think you guys are sort of seeing the

issue here, right? Actually, it could

work. It could work. Okay, you know

what? Let's stick to the even. I think I

think we can make it work, guys. We're

going to try even. Okay, so this is kind

of like the little entrance that I want.

And the way that I want it is I want

like the doors to be Let's say the doors

will go around here. I want to step up

to something. So, we will probably have

it elevated like so. We'll have like a

nice big door. So, we could probably

fill up like two doors here and then

maybe like a trap door or something. And

we'll kind of step up to it. I'm not

sure what kind of stone we want to use.

Maybe like andite for now, you know, as

like a little stone pathway. But yeah,

like we'll step up to the door. Okay.

And what I also really want I think this

will look really cool is if we have kind

of like another little encasing above

the entrance. So, okay, now I'm starting

to see a problem. So, the problem is the

door. If I go with the even door, this

whole thing is a little bit too cramped.

And I want to make it a little bit more

open. So, I'm actually thinking let's

actually ditch our even design. Let's go

like out another block. We'll do like

one central door, but we'll make it look

big. Okay, that's actually like a

possibility here. Now, we can go three

blocks in between all of our little

pillars. Let's see how that looks.

That'll give us way more space. Okay.

Yeah, that's looking already way better.

I want to like curve this out, too. I'll

kind of show you guys what I mean. But

let me just get the initial shape

together. Okay, now the question is, do

I want to step up or do I want to keep

it kind of low? You know, let's actually

try something different, guys. Let's not

step up to our door height. Now, I do

want to have like a foundation, like a

stone foundation going around the build,

too. I think we'll just do stone brick

for now. So, like even these pillars

will have it, right? That'll be kind of

like our foundation. And then we're

going to have our entryway like our door

is going to be right here. Okay. And we

can like access it from this side, this

side. Like whatever. Like I kind of want

like paths going to the side here and

have like a bunch of landscaping and

stuff. It'll look really cool. That's

our little center piece. Right now I

want to have like a symmetrical design.

So let's kind of extend our walls from

here now. Right. So I want to have like

a large window. And I'm thinking we can

do even there potentially. Yeah, we'll

do like a even kind of large window.

Right. Yeah. That's kind of this exactly

what I'm thinking about. So, we're going

to extend four each side. There we go.

So, now we have like two tall windows.

And I think like once I put the stairs

in, we're going to have like the curved

windows. Okay. I kind of want them to be

a little bit taller. Actually, I want it

to be like super tall. Yeah. From the

front. Yeah, that looks pretty nice.

Okay. Okay. And now from that block, I

want to kind of extend forward again.

So, like I want to have like a path that

comes here and kind of curves back out,

right? Maybe like not as far as this

pillar. like we'll have it kind of in

one block. So, we'll kind of go 1 2 3

four coming out from right here just

like so. And then I want like a wide

window now. Okay. And let's kind of

think for our wide window here. So,

let's kind of get the corners in first.

So, for a wide window, we could could do

four blocks. I'm not sure if that's big

enough this time. I'm kind of thinking

of like no stairs at all. Like we just

have a flat kind of window like that.

Let's see how that looks like when I

fill in the walls. I think it could

work. The only little concern would be

that like this window from the inside

rather, you know, like it would be a

little compact in here. So maybe I

should make it a little bit wider. If I

do this, if I like bring in the window

in by a block. See, 1 2 3 four wide. And

then we have the wall here and then

another wall here. And that gives us

more space on the inside. Right? That's

my main concern is that I want it to

still feel spacious from the inside like

this. Right? So now it still feels like

we have a lot of space in here, but from

the outside it still looks pretty grand.

I might even utilize the wall blocks for

the corners cuz it does look a little

too fat from the outside. Okay, we only

have the regular sandstone wall, which

is fine. I'm going to go ahead and grab

the wall blocks of the stone brick. So

this will kind of slim out our design.

Yeah, that's going to look a lot better.

It gives us like a nice little curve in

the corners. Okay. Yeah, that's kind of

what we'll do. And now let me repeat

that on this side. All right, there we

go. Now we have that symmetrical design

and the house is already looking pretty

damn big just from what I've done so

far. But I think this is exactly what I

was going for. Now we might have like

one extension on this side or on that

side and maybe like one tall extension

in the back. And I want to do that to

kind of create some symmetry like rather

asymmetry cuz I actually don't want it

to be too symmetrical. But I think we're

looking good there. Now what we can do

is I actually want to get the second

floor kind of done too cuz I do want

this to be two stories. We're going to

have a balcony like right above this

window and then one above this window.

So, let's kind of like go up a little

bit now. So, I'm thinking like the

balcony could be like right here, right?

And we'll obviously use a different

block. I just want to mark the balcony,

right? Like we'll just mark it for now.

And then we'll have like an entire glass

kind of setup here. I think this one has

to be four blocks because it's going to

be at the ground level, right? And then

here is going to be the top of the

build. So, that's pretty much going to

be the height. And then let's kind of

like continue this height, you know,

around the entire frame. And don't

worry, I'll add texturing at the end.

Now, let's cut out some windows like

right here. What I'm thinking is I

actually want to have like a portion of

this kind of going back, right? I want

to have like a little indent in the wall

here. And just like a slight one just to

add some variation in the front cuz I

think if this wall is flat, it's not

going to look that good. So, we're going

to add another window up here like that.

All right. And then I think we'll just

come in one block. And then I want like

another window, like a long window right

here. And of course when I add in the

roof, it's going to change things up a

bit. So I want to keep it keep some

space kind of occupied there. But like

see how that center piece going back

another layer adds so much more depth.

That's exactly what I wanted there. I

think that looks really good. I wonder

what it would look like if I add in

these corners. Maybe it's doing too

much. But let's kind of see. Actually,

it looks pretty good. So now we have

like a very unique kind of front shape.

Okay. And I'm going to fill up the roof

a little bit later. Let's kind of keep

going uh you know like I want to do like

one extension on like the side and then

I want to do like a taller extension

kind of in the back almost like a little

tower maybe like an extra little like

story or like a staircase or something

like tower. Let's kind of figure out how

long we want the build now. So we'll go

here. I think this is the perfect size.

On the rear I actually want it to be a

little bit more asymmetrical. So that's

kind of like the rough shape that we'll

have for now. Now before I like design

the back wall, I want to do this

extension that just serves as like a

little double kind of balcony situation

and it it'll go all the way up

obviously. That's kind of what I'm

thinking, right? We have like a extra

balcony there. I want to keep the bottom

open as well. I'm not sure what we're

going to put down here, but we can put

something down here. I think a pathway

going under would be kind of cool. I

think it might be a little too big,

guys. I think I'm going to go in another

block. Okay. Yeah, that's looking

better. Especially when that's going to

have a roof on top of it. I should make

it a block lower, too. And that way, we

can get some roof height variation once

we add in the roof. Yeah. So, what we're

going to do here, right, we're going to

have a window maybe on one side. And

then the doorway could be like right

there. Like this whole top floor just

right here. This whole little strip will

be the master bedroom. And then we could

simply have like a giant window here as

well.

Okay. So that's kind of like the side

wall for that portion. We'll kind of

keep it like that for now, right? And

what I'm thinking about this staircase,

by the way, I want it to be pretty

accessible, right? So kind of thinking

like this kind of portion, like we'll

kind of section out like a little cube.

And this kind of cube can be can become

like a tower and that can serve as our

staircase. And what I'm also thinking is

we can extend it out a block too. For

example, this will give us some more

depth. Kind of like that, right? Okay.

Okay. So, we can have like just a little

portion sticking out back here. And then

I want to have something else sticking

out here. I'm kind of thinking, what if

I do the same thing that I did like

right here, but just back there, too?

You know? So, what I'm thinking, we'll

have like a just a little extrusion

here. Yeah, we'll do like a little four

block extrusion. We'll go three blocks

out. Now, on the rear, we have a bit

more variation. Let's kind of cut out

these corners. All right. And now that

we look at it from the back, we have

some nice bit of shapage going on.

That's looking good. And then this

tower, like I said, we'll go like we'll

go taller with this. Um, it's going to

be kind of difficult to integrate to the

main roof, but I I just got to get the

main roof built first before we kind of

continue. But like I I just want to mark

it off for now. So like we'll have like

that as like a little tower. And I'm not

really sure what we'll put up there cuz

I want to use the tower mainly as a

staircase. I could just leave it open.

have like a nice chandelier maybe at the

very top that's hanging down. So here,

like I said, I want to have like some

sort of outdoor amenity or like, you

know, like a shed style roof. So, we can

kind of mark that out for now. Nothing

too big, like something kind of small,

right? I think that's the right height.

We'll put like fence blocks here

eventually, but we'll just have like a

little shed style roof. This can be

cover for something. I'm not too sure.

Like, we'll put something over there. I

just want to mark it out for now. Okay,

we can have a nice long window or like

tall windows there. Now, let's kind of

figure that out. Actually, I kind of I'm

thinking we go like tall windows. Yeah,

we could do that. I like that. I like

that a lot. I like these kind of smaller

windows. I think that looks cool. Well,

first of all, what I want to do is I

want to like just select this whole

thing. Texture all of our walls. I'm

just just going to use the wand tool to

kind of do it. I just want to use like a

two-tone texture with just the smooth

sandstone and the regular sandstone. So

now we have like that two-tone texture.

There we go. That's looking really nice

actually. The texturing. You see how

much more detail that adds. And we can

also texture the bottom as well. We'll

do stone brick, cobblestone, and and

Okay, there we go. Now we have texturing

all throughout the build. And that

already looks way better. Let's add in

at least the front part of the roof

right here. Okay, so now we're on roof

time. We're going to go with a kind of

like hip style, like a very shallow hip

style roof, which means I'm going to

also be utilizing the full blocks. We'll

start texturing this a little bit later.

Let me just put these in for now. Go

ahead and just place these going all the

way around. You can kind of see what

we're going for. That's kind of what I'm

going for. Okay. I know it looks a

little weird right now, but I think

it'll look good once we have some extra

detailing. I'm just going to experiment

with some patterns right now, guys, cuz

I do want to add little bit of

variation. I think I'm going to be

utilizing mostly like the jungle trap

doors and the jungle accents because

they kind of fit the Mediterranean

aesthetic the most. So, like if I put

these like around I like the wooden

support idea cuz it looks a little bit

more subtle. It does look pretty nice.

Okay. Okay. I think that looks good.

Also, how would jungle slabs look? Let's

kind of just experiment here. See what

looks good. You know, jungle slabs

aren't bad. What if I Oh, wait. I can

make a whole lip around this. That's to

move right there. That looks so nice

with a little jungle little trim at the

bottom. That's going to be like kind of

a roof shape. Now, let's kind of texture

it up a little bit. I actually love how

that came out, guys. I think I've seen,

you know, these little wooden support

structures uh right underneath the roof

for a lot of like Mediterranean builds.

And with the jungle wood, I think it

fits perfectly. It's like the perfect

shade of like the wood color, the you

know how it matches with all the warm

tones. It looks really nice. Let's go

ahead and continue with the roof. Pretty

much it's going to be like a full block

on top of all of these. Just kind of

trim the whole roof here with a full

block.

>> Okay. And with that, the base shape of

the roof is complete. And it's

completely filled up. And that's kind of

what we're looking at from the top

there. And like I said, we're going to

have like a little bit of a tower

extension piece, something of the sort.

This is going to be like our staircase.

And then I guess we'll kind of make it a

little bit taller just to add some roof

variation and also to like help us

balance out the build cuz for example,

we have an extension on this side and we

kind of need something to go there,

right? Like we have a light little shed

roof at the bottom there, but this tower

bit is going to help us kind of balance

the left and the right side. We'll have

like a slight tower protrusion up there.

Now, I'm going to go ahead and add in

that lip, our entire like wooden section

here. So, I guess we'd do something like

this. Let's kind of figure out how we're

going to do this because I do want the

slabs. Okay, we'll kind of I think we'll

do this. I might even be able to like

push these back. Okay. And then we'll

just kind of fill in those two. And then

we have this nice little lip. Oh, yeah.

That's looking good. Now, let's kind of

just continue. And uh we're going to do

this for every side. Oh, I also forgot

to do the roof. Let's go ahead and do

that right now. All right. There we go.

And then we just go ahead and add in the

slabs. Okay. And the wooden lip is kind

of complete throughout the entire roof.

And same way I added these little trap

doors up top. Thinking of doing the same

thing here. And uh yeah, it looks might

be overkill, but hey, the trap doors are

there. And from the front, it looks

pretty cool seeing the little wood

texturing up top. Now we could probably

do the tower this height. This height

should be perfect. Right now we'll kind

of texture this in. Did not realize we

have to use the wall blocks. There we

go. And now we can start on this kind of

roof. Same roof. If it doesn't look

nice, then uh I'm done. But I think

it'll look good, guys. All right. And

let's see how that looks from the front.

Yep, that's like the perfect height. You

can just see that wall pretty good. Now,

that'll serve as our staircase. If we

look all the way up, you can see we can

have like a just chandelier here. The

stairs should start here. Then we have a

platform back here. And then you curve

into this U shape. And then by the time

you're on this block, you have made it

to the second story. And this should all

connect. Now, what this means, we can

see where we want to put our windows.

Like, we can put one right there. Could

honestly put one here. Yeah, we'll kind

of stick with that design for now. Okay.

And I'll probably use the stair blocks.

We have the stairs in the other var

variants, too, which I probably should

mix in here. And then we can throw those

bad boys in to create a little bit of a

shape for the windows. And then we have

Yeah, we have some nice windows. We

should probably put a window right here

as well. All right. Yeah, that's looking

awesome. We could potentially do like

tall windows here. I think we kind of

should actually like really tall ones.

You can have like another.

I'm just adding in the windows cuz we do

need some natural light in here. I want

to make make sure it's like nice and

bright. We can have a really wide window

here, too. And again, our floor is going

to be on this block right here. We can

have another one of those big windows

right there that lets in so much natural

light. That's exactly what we need. I

think this wall we'll do like tall

windows. So, we'll go like three. We'll

go like the tall designs, right? Our

floor will go right there. So, we can

have another bad boy. We could just do a

tall window. We could just do one tall

window here. Actually, that's probably

the correct move. Just like a basic

window cuz we don't want too many

windows. And I'm kind of thinking we do

something different here actually. Yeah,

because I I just want some variation. I

don't want everything to be like too too

much of the same. We'll do two tall

windows and we'll cover up the inside.

That looks way better. Okay, perfect.

Yeah, we could add another window like

here too, by the way. Um, it depends on

what I'm going to put over here. I think

I should at least add like two small

windows. Yeah, I'm going to go with

that, guys. What do you guys think about

that? How does it look from the outside?

Yeah, I think that looks fine. And okay,

so that is the base shape like the base

skeleton of the house uh complete. So we

have our base shape which is pretty

symmetrical as you can see. We added an

extension on this side which is like a

little balcony that we're going to have

and maybe like a little pathway

underneath or something. Maybe like a

little garden down here. Then we added

uh you know we have this beautiful front

entrance by the way which I think is

going to be awesome. It's going to look

so nice. And then we have our extension

here. We'll have some outdoor stuff. I'm

not too sure exactly what because I

don't want this to be like a workshop

kind of house. I want it to be like just

pure like a like a vacation home, you

know? We have a tall tower extension

which is going to serve as our staircase

right back here kind of tucked away. And

then we'll have like a chandelier that

kind of hangs down from there. And then

we have one last little tiny extension

that kind of goes into a rear door

situation that we'll have in the rear of

the house. And I'm not going to lie, the

shape of this is looking amazing. I

can't wait to start detailing. Let's get

back to the build. All right, next up, I

think it's time we add in our windows

and maybe do some light detailing on the

outside. Let's kind of figure out what

kind of windows we want to use. Okay, so

I'm kind of considering either black

glass or we could go for like the blue

glass, light blue probably. Let's kind

of compare and see which one we like

better. So, we could do something like

this where we have the solid blocks

maybe in the center and then have the

panes in the corner. That's how the

black glass would look. And how would

the blue glass look? I think this would

contrast a little bit better. Okay.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the blue

because it adds in some cool tones. I

wonder what if I do like a staggered

look like this. Would this look okay or

would that look weird? I think we got to

keep it like that so everything's very

even for us. Yeah, we'll kind of we'll

just do panes for these ones. Maybe this

one we can throw in both. I'm really

considering making these full blocks

from the inside. I know it'll take up

some real estate, but it's like not that

big of a deal. Yeah, I think it's going

to be very much worth it. And uh yeah,

for these windows, unfortunately, we're

going to have to cut into some wall

space here because we want to have that

curve, which is fine. And we can add

like a built-in kind of unit like

shelving unit or something and that'll

kind of integrate with the glass from

the inside. We'll make it look good. So,

don't worry. I'm not too worried about

it. Okay. And here's where I'm kind of

seeing an issue because we have a

staircase here and that's kind of the

best we can do. What if I do only trap

doors though? Wait, hold up. Might be

cooking like just for the staircase. How

would that look? Okay, wait. That

actually might be the move. Okay, these

trap doors actually might be the move.

Okay, okay, okay, okay. We're going to

kind of I think we should put it here,

too. And yeah, this is actually really

smart. It saves us the space and we can

still have like the unique shape from

the outside. And we can even do it in

other areas. Like we can put it here,

for example, but that might be too much.

Like I think we already have it in the

back. We'll just kind of keep it on this

tower bit. And I wanted to put it here

as well. Now, this window is obviously

going to need a center or like a rather

inner portion. Um, and what I'm going to

do, we'll put the panes in the center.

And I think that'll look pretty cool. I

think it actually has to be the entire

glass block. Yeah, that's fine. Okay,

here we can do the trapoor trick to save

some space. That looks pretty good. I

like that. All right. And all of the

windows should now be in. I do want to

make like this kind of pathway. We'll

kind of just set it with andesight for

now, but uh we're going to have like a

nice doorway as well. Okay, so the way

that we'll do this is I do want to use

the jungle door. I think it'll look

pretty good. We have some options here

now. We can stick with the trapador or

we can go with the shelf block. And

essentially what we're going to do is

like kind of put it behind, right? And

we'll kind of encase this entire thing

here from the back. It just looks like a

solid block. It has a cool little

texture and pattern. And uh yeah, that's

about it. And that's our little

entryway. Um you know, I actually kind

of want to put the lantern like in the

center here. You can kind of see it

hanging in the center. Yeah, that's how

I want the lantern to be. That looks a

lot better for now. That looks okay.

Let's get the other doors. So, we are

going to have a door here. We're going

to have a back door situation here.

Here, we can simply just put stair

blocks or something at the top like

right here. Okay, there we go. That's a

nice neat little back door. Let's kind

of move on to the window shutters. Um,

and then we can get on to the balconies

after that. So, only some windows should

have window shutters. So, like for

example, these ones probably shouldn't.

I don't think it would make any sense.

Uh, I'm not too sure about those. But

let's go to the ones that guaranteed

need window shutters. Like these

windows, I think probably use them. And

the problem is because they're so close

together, they look kind of weird, but I

could do something like that. This one

could probably have window shutters.

Yep, that one looks good. These two,

there's not enough wall space. So, we'll

keep that as is. And I think we'll have

some sort of design next to this window.

See, we have so much wall space on both

sides. That's looking pretty good,

actually. Okay, so that's all the window

shutters that we wanted in. Now, let's

go ahead and do the balcony. Okay, so

for the balcony, I want to use our

jungle slabs probably as our flooring,

right? So, let's go ahead and like add

that in. But I still want to use the

desert kind of stair blocks. These are

going to be like kind of tiny balconies.

Now, as for the glass situation, I'm not

too sure like what we're going to do for

the door. I could just put a door there

just yet what we're going to do here,

but let's just frame out our balconies.

Okay. Okay. Now, as for the railing, I

want to do something kind of unique,

actually. So, what I wanted to do, I

want to have like this wall kind of

coming out, right? That'll be the wall.

And then the railing will just go like

right there. And probably we'll use the

bars. It just looks the most railing

like. Let's just try all the different

colors. So, that's not a bad color. I

mean, this does pull from like the stone

tones. It just looks too jail cell like,

and I don't really want that. So, those

will be our railings. The main concern

that I have is the door situation. Like

I said, we could do we could just break

that and put a door, but like the

problem is the door doesn't like line up

with the glass. That's my concern. I

could just run the entire opposite. Hold

on. Wait. Can I put panes here? I could.

Right. That actually works, guys. We're

going to do that cuz I just want the

balcony to be easily accessible. Okay.

Now, what I was also debating is if we

should have another balcony. Might be a

little overkill, but like right here,

like something has to be there. I think

we don't do I think it's too many

balconies. We'll kind of not do that.

But what I will do is like a little

window sill. I'm thinking with slabs,

too. Maybe like this one can have trap

doors integrated. Okay, that looks

really good. Yeah. Okay, that came out

nice. Now, I really want to like kind of

highlight this pathway situation. I do

want a path that goes kind of like this,

right? And then I do want it to kind of

go in front of this area. Sort of like

that. And then it go kind of goes down

there. Okay. I'm just kind of marking it

out. Okay. And then we'll do like

landscaping kind of within that. And I

want it to be like a really thin path.

Yeah. Let's just do all landscaping back

in these kind of corners. Okay. Like I

want to put a lot of plant life in the

bottom here. That's looking nice. And

we'll probably do like coarse dirt

everywhere here. Okay. I do want the

path to go under here. like I really

want that. And then I can simply connect

to our little rear entrance that we

have. And this I don't know what this is

going to be yet. All right, that's kind

of the path that we have going around

the house. You can see all the way

around. That'll be kind of our

landscaping, which we'll do later. I

want to add in all the details now. Um

like on the exterior details is what I

mean by that. Kind of thinking like do I

want a chimney by chance? Do we want a

chimney? Like a little chimney around

here? I throw one like right here. It

won't really be inside of the house, but

it will be outside of the house. I also

kind of want to cover it if that makes

sense. It does look kind of weird. I

wish it wasn't so thick. We add in some

block variation. Yeah, I think it did

need a little like there's something

missing there. And I think that kind of

fills it up nicely. Okay, cool. Before I

get to the landscaping on the bottom

floor, let's go ahead and add some

decorations around here. I think we'll

kind of do like plants only. And we can

kind of stick with the symmetrical but

also non-symmetrical at some points.

Like for example, we'll put like a

potted plant on that side and we'll put

like nothing on this side or something.

Or maybe something like that, right? I

want to craft like a custom pot for this

entire build cuz I think kind of need

that uh attention to detail, right? For

such a high-end little house that we're

making. Okay. And I want to put like

some plants here and there. All right,

that looks fine. This will all be filled

with some jungle slabs. Okay. And we

could just grab a railing and throw it

into up here. And I want to grab like

the stair blocks and just throw those

underneath just to give it some shape

and some curvature. And we obviously

need some lanterns down here. Let's see.

We have an even number. So, we're going

to go with something like this. How's

that looking? Pretty good. And we can do

like this little lip on the outside of

just wood. Could also hang the lanterns

a bit lower, but I think that looks

okay. I think if they're lower, it's

just going to be too low and look kind

of weird. All right. And we'll

definitely put like what the large

potted plant like right there in the

corner. Maybe we can put like a smaller

one here. We'll put it all up on the

railing somewhere. Probably just throw

like a little table in there, but we'll

get there once you get to the super

detailed parts of it. Now, we could put

something in the corners there. Look

like little fortification. Even buttons

could work. I think that looks better

cuz they look like actual little rivets.

I also wanted to do this. Maybe we can

add some pillars going across. Not

everywhere, just sometimes we could make

them thicker pillars like that. Does

create a little bit more visual

interest. Let me grab some of these

stair blocks. Okay. And I do want to add

some curvature here. Yeah, see the

detail. The level of detail that this

adds is incredible. We just need those

little curves there. It looks so much

better with the curves. And yeah, we

could just add these little trap doors.

probably hang lanterns there. We we'll

just we'll kind of change it up as we

go, but temporarily those can chill

there. And yeah, this whole little like

balcony is looking really nice. And now

let's kind of see if we can add any more

like little window sills. I really like

the slabs. Throw in another there. We

can just throw potted plants in there.

And those two we can probably put like

one here. Now these we can kind of pick

and choose where we want our pots. We

can throw them in the back, in the

front. We have some space there. Now, I

want to fill up all these pots with

something, some sort of plants. Let's

kind of figure out what plants we want

to use, right? I think we definitely

want to put bamboo over here. We want to

throw in some cactus. Want to use kind

of bushy plants like the fern would look

nice. Maybe regular aelia. I want to go

for kind of just green plants, you know?

Maybe the mangrove propagule. What kind

of leaves do I want for the tall plants?

Probably just Aelia. So, Aelia bush will

go there. We'll have a tall plant right

there. We could probably throw another

Aelia bush there. Kind of mix this up a

little bit. You know, it's kind of cool

how the fern actually takes shape in the

same color as the biome even in the

pots. That's pretty cool. This will

obviously be another tall aelia plant.

All right, now we have our plants kind

of all throughout. And look at what that

does. It adds so much to the build.

Okay, now that the plants are in, and I

know it's kind of weird that I'm

starting with a second story and then go

working my way down, but trust me guys,

it's going to work. I want to add the

lighting, like the hanging lighting

specifically, right? So, we need

lanterns, we need some chains, and

probably jungle fence. Could actually

use the chain. Let's just start here. I

think we 100% need something here, like

a lantern hanging there in those two

spots. You know, that might be too much,

actually. What if I throw them here? Is

that all the lighting that I need?

Probably. Let's actually make it

nighttime while we do this. That

actually lights up the whole front

pretty well. So yeah, we could do some

lighting here on the opposite side. We

do have to make it symmetrical there.

Definitely need something back here. I'm

thinking like an asymmetrical kind of

system, right? Like we have this and

this. How would that look? I just think

they have to be near the window or else

it looks kind of weird. Okay. And we

could put one right here and one on the

opposite side, too. Okay. That lights up

this whole spot. And because this light

is there, we can actually reverse the

kind of placement here. So we have a

choice. So, we can probably throw a

light there. I want to kind of get rid

of the lights on this tower for now.

Okay, so that's our lighting kind of

going all the way around the house for

the top floor, right? The bottom floor

we'll do separately. Lighting and the

second floor, I think decorations are

done. I want to keep it kind of simple,

right? Like this is pretty cool. Like

it's I think it's a perfect level of

detailing. It's not too much, not too

little for the upper floor. Right now,

let's get into the fun stuff. Let's do

all the bottom floor decorations. So, I

do need a lantern. Let's grab some wall

blocks. I think we're going to have to

use the granite. We could even use the

jungle fence again. And we're going to

need a bunch of coarse dirt. Maybe some

rooted dirt. Can I kind of combine them

and make like a little mulch? Let's see

how it looks to if I mix them up. Let's

keep it one texture cuz we're not going

to really see it that much. It's kind of

like a background, right? Let me go

ahead and I guess we'll have to wand

this for the most part. Okay. So, we

have like a little bit of a mulch setup

going on around here. Okay. So you can

see where we kind of threw in our coarse

dirt to act as like a mulch. We're going

to do all of our landscaping within

that. Before we get there, let's go

ahead and like make the path kind of

final. Let's finalize it. What I'm

thinking is the path. Should it be the

same or should it be different from our

little trim that we have? You know, I

think we just keep it the same, guys.

Okay, let's go ahead and uh figure out

how thick we want all these hats. Okay,

the front we'll keep it like super thick

obviously. And then for the sides, we

can kind of go like just two blocks.

There we go. That's our path laid out

for us. Okay. And we can even like uh

have, you know, like steps going down or

something of the sort like right there

with some slabs. We'll kind of continue

with that later. Yeah, let's kind of now

work in all these like little mulchy

areas that we have. Now, we're going to

go ahead and add in some plants and some

lights. I do need to see how it's going

to look. I'm thinking, you know, what if

we can just throw in something like

this? Like a little lamp of sorts or

something down here on both sides

perhaps? What about just the fence? Like

I might I kind of like the short version

of it, you know? Hold up, hold up. Wait,

I think I just came up with a pretty

good idea. Remember these copper rods?

What if I do something like that to make

like a little makeshift lamp? How does

that look? They look like actual little

lamps, don't they? That looks really

good. So, we'll do that. I think we need

one right here. Maybe just one right

there. These two should light up the

whole area. Yep, they absolutely do. And

looks like the bottom here is good. This

is, you know, we have some good

lighting. Maybe we could add one of

these like on the outside. Yeah. Oh,

that's a nice lamp design. Looks good.

It looks good. Okay. Okay. Okay, we can

throw these kind of around the corners,

you know. And uh yeah, we'll just kind

of hang lamps like underneath this

thing. That stays lit up in the perfect

kind of way, right? Then we can throw in

the two lamp designs like right here and

here as like a grand entrance to our

area. And oh my god, the lighting is

super clean, guys. Like that is super

clean lighting. Now we can get to the

landscaping of the first floor. Okay.

So, I want to grab this uh decorated

pot. I do want to add more of those

plants around, you know, like actual

intentionally potted plants around, too.

I think we just need two of these, you

know? Okay, maybe just one cuz two would

look too that's too much, right? Way too

much. We'll throw in like our doorbell.

Actually, we'll put the doorbell there

and we'll have like a little table here

with maybe like a flower cuz we don't

have like any flowers. like a exotic

flower right there. Okay. And let's see.

Do I want this plant like anywhere else?

Like I could add the plant like also

outside, you know, like around our

little garden section. So, we could add

another one right there. We could even

add one like technically in here. I just

want this plant to be kind of frequent

throughout the build. Like it just kind

of appears in places. Now, this wall is

the most empty. I definitely want it

here. And then maybe we can throw like

one more there. here. We can probably

throw it right here next to this window

shutter. And uh yeah, that looks nice.

Looks good. Now, I'm going to grab the

regular plants that we're going to plant

all around. So, I want to go for like

that exotic kind of tropical feel,

right? I want these bushes. I want the

firefly bushes. Maybe some bamboo. I

need a large fern. Definitely need that.

Okay, so we could add drip leaf.

Actually, that's a pretty tropical

looking block. You know, we could add

splatches of moss around, by the way.

Like very sparingly, cuz it does give it

that kind of overgrown feel, but I don't

want I want this to look kind of new.

Yeah, just like very sparingly used.

I'll also use it in like the frame. The

base frame should have some of it. And

there's one more plant that I want. I

want I want some to look kind of exotic,

too. Like this. Maybe the rose bush.

Does the rose bush just look too Maybe

it's not exotic enough. Okay, wait. That

actually looks really nice. I want to

like sparingly add the rose bush, you

know, like very sparingly. And I was

even considering maybe we can make some

of these taller. Like on the first

floor, these plants could be super tall.

Now, can I make like new plants like

this for example? Like can I just make

like a new plant? I can just make

plants. You guys see my power right now?

Wait, hold up. I have some power, guys.

What about that? Like, is that a new

plant? I'm making I'm literally

inventing new plants. I'm just inventing

them. Before we go a little bit too

crazy here, let's kind of throw in some

of our rose bushes. Yeah, the rose bush

is like super powerful though. Like I

don't want to go crazy with that. I do

want that plant around though. So, we

are going to keep that. Okay, that wait

that angle it looks like a brand new

plant, guys. Like, did you guys see

that? It literally looks like a brand

new plant. Maybe like we'll put one

right here, too. Like, look. Watch.

Ready, guys? And like this one, I'll

I'll make it taller and it's like a

different version of that plant, you

know? Like maybe we'll put like some

bamboo here. How tall could I have the

bamboo though? Actually, that doesn't

look that weird. It looks like a little

tree or something. I'm going nuts today

with like the plant builds. Like, what

is wrong with me? We'll do like a super

tall one like right here. Let's see

where we could add more bamboo without

it getting in the way too much. Okay, I

think right here. Like another one of

those bamboo trees, you know? Okay, let

me just uh kind of skip through this and

I'll show you guys the finished garden.

Okay, and all right, guys. We have

completed the exterior and I didn't want

to bore you with all of that, you know,

block placing everywhere. But you can

see we have all of our landscaping done.

We have like beautiful hedges and plant

life everywhere. I added some little

like hedges and some wall blocks around

the path as well. Also, before uh I

forget, I also changed up the corners of

the entire house. I think these kind of

corners look a little bit cooler. They

add a little bit more detail. So, I went

with like this kind of staggered design

with the wall and the full block with

the signs on top of them. Here is all of

our landscaping. Our path goes down

here. We have some wall blocks around

little bench, little seating area.

Coming around the back, you can see we

have all of our landscaping here. I also

added in these like little roof pieces

here because it was looking a little bit

too plain. Specifically right there and

then right there. So, we have like this

kind of little overhang with a little

pop of color and it looks really nice.

Like the blue tones from the copper,

they contrast against the sandstone. So,

here's the rear right here. We added one

little tiny outdoor build here. We have

like a little umbrella seating area

here. Looks really nice. And you can see

we have the different corners all the

way in the back as well. It looks a lot

better in my opinion. And then making

our way to the side, you can see we have

a little large table with some seating

here. And then we have our walls and our

leaves going all the way around. And

yeah, that's pretty much the exterior of

the build all done and complete. Now,

we're going to get into the interior.

And I'm going to start skipping, you

know, a lot of these tedious things

because I don't want the video to be

like 50 hours long. So, I'm going to go

ahead and like plan out the entire

layout and I'll show you guys what I

come up with. All right, guys. And a

little update here. You can see that I

have pretty much marked everything and

kind of planned the layout for the

interior now. So on the first floor,

we're going to be having a living room

kind of here. I want to make it mostly

in the center to be purely aesthetic,

like a couch, maybe like a TV. And then

I think on both sides, we'll add like

some storage in like a very kind of

secret and subtle way. So that way it's

still going to be aesthetic but also

functional for those of you that want to

build this in like survival or have this

house in a survival setting. Uh

underneath the staircase, we can just

put some extra storage down here. I

think this little area right here in

front of this window can be like a

little office, which will pretty much be

our crafting area. I really want to try

to integrate these like aesthetic and

functional uh room designs. I think

it'll be really cool. And then on this

side, we'll have our kitchen, which will

also be our smelting. like we'll cook

all of our stuff in the kitchen, even

our ores. I want to make it like really

functional for you guys. Over here,

we'll have dining and uh I'll have some

sort of like a potion setup somehow and

I think it'll look really nice in front

of this window overlooking the entire

biome. Now, if we come up to the

staircase right here, you can see the

second floor. I wanted to have like a

little landing up here so we have like a

railing and a balcony to overlook the

first floor. I think that'll look really

nice. I just wanted to give it that open

concept kind of look right here in this

little nook. We can throw in a study

which will be like an enchanting setup.

I think we can fit one right here. This

back here will be the guest suite. We

can make this entire room just like a

guest room. We'll have like some of the

essentials in here too. You guys have a

nice little balcony over here. And then

on the opposite side, we'll have the

master suite. I made it a little bit

larger. And you have two balconies. You

have this front balcony and this

beautiful side balcony. So you have tons

of space up here. And yeah, I'm going to

go ahead and kind of work on this and

we'll do like a tour. Interiors do take

the longest, so I don't want to spend

too much time on this. So I'm just going

to go ahead and show you guys the final

result right after this. All right,

guys. We are done with the entire build.

I'm going to give you guys a complete

tour. So here it is at night time. I've

already shown you guys the exterior, but

we'll just do a quick walk around again.

It is honestly incredible looking at

nighttime. It looks amazing. I love this

garden landscaping that we have going

all the way around. Guys, come on. I

definitely cooked with this on the

exterior. But now, let's make our way to

the fully furnished interior. It's

complete. We're going to enter. And you

can see we have some two little uh

copper golems. But here is our first

floor with our open concept floor plan.

It's honestly insane in here. But let's

start with this side. Okay. Or rather,

let's start with the front door. So,

here's like our, you know, front door

kind of framed out. Looking nice. We got

our two windows also framed out. And

then we have some more windows up there.

Uh, yeah. Looking up, we have all of

this height open floor plan, open

concept. It looks so awesome. Looking

up, we can see our little balcony area

there. Making our way to this side, we

have the living room. Now, I wanted to

make everything very functional, also

aesthetic at the same time. So, in the

center, we just have, you know, our

couch, our little TV right there. And

yeah, like that's about it. That's all

we have in the center. It's not really

useful. But on the sides, you can see we

have all of our storage, our built-ins,

and everything. So, this can actually

serve as like a lot of storage, to be

honest. You know, I love what I did with

the shelvings and the lanterns. They

look like little fairy lights throughout

the build. I just wanted to go for that

kind of look and it came out really,

really nice. I also love the dark wood

flooring. I think it contrasts against

the walls perfectly. And now if we make

our way to the staircase, you can see

underneath we actually hid even more

storage down here. So now we have like

extra storage that you can throw away

all of your stuff into these little

barrels as well just to make the most of

our space. Now, before we go upstairs,

let's look at the rest of the first

floor. I love this little kind of

entryway island that I made. It can

serve as, you know, like temporary

storage for like whatever you have. We

have our copper golem chest here, too.

So, I just needed something to fill up

this large area. So, I decided to just

throw like a little island or table or

some sort in the center. And then if you

look straight ahead right here, you can

see we have a little office

slashcrafting area. I kind of didn't

want to make a full room, so I kind of

used these like pillars going all

throughout. So, it's a very open

concept, but we still have it like

framed out. And I think it came out

really nice. We have a nice window here.

We got some storage, all the crafting

blocks. We need some more storage up

there. And uh yeah, I really like how it

came out. I think it came out pretty

good. You can see the flooring in the

center part is all brick and granite.

And then if we make our way to the left

side of the house, you can see the

flooring completely changes to the deep

slate. And this is where you'll find our

kitchen and our dining room. Let's start

with the dining room when it comes to

that. So, this is purely just aesthetic.

Got some plates on there with some meat.

We got a cake, grand chairs uh going all

throughout. We have painting shelving.

It looks really, really nice over here

in the dining. And I really wanted to do

this kind of like setup where from the

kitchen you can see into the dining

room. I really like how that came out

with this I guess it's like an island,

you know, like with some cabinetry up

top as well. Uh it came out really,

really good. We also have a shelf that

goes all the way up above this long

window. It even comes into the kitchen.

And speaking of the kitchen, here it is.

I said that this was going to be a

functional kitchen with some smelting

purposes. You can see that I threw in a

blast furnace right here that we can

actually use. Looks like a little oven,

you know. And then we have like little

counter here where I'm chopping a carrot

on a wooden cutting board. Got another

cake, our sink, and then some

decorations up on the shelves. Now, you

can see right here, we have like a

little built-in structure looking thing.

And if you look on the opposite side,

these are our regular furnaces. So,

these can serve as like, you know, extra

ovens, but also we can just smelt our

regular items around here. And now the

biggest and largest thing in the room,

the first thing that that you probably

notice in the kitchen is this giant kind

of furnace oven that we have. And the

coolest part about this guys, it cooks

your food automatically. We're going to

throw our food on there. And after 25

seconds, guess what's going to happen?

That's right. We have a hopper right

here that's going to collect all the

cooked food and throw it right into this

barrel. So you can see I already have

some like cooked rabbit in here that I

tried out. So we have a functional oven

to cook food. We have actual real

furnaces to cook everything else. And we

have a blast furnace in case we need to

smelt some ores really fast. So this is

how you make a aesthetic kitchen. Also

super functional and it came out really

really nice. Now coming back here we

just have our kind of mud room I guess

you could say. This leads out to the

back of the house where we have our

little park bench. So, that's kind of

the entire first floor. And let me show

you guys that our cooked chicken is all

inside of there. So, it's really, really

awesome. I really love this design.

Let's kind of talk about what we have

going on up here. So, I wanted to go

like really artistic up here. So, we

have like two giant paintings completely

framed out with trap doors and such. And

there's a reason why I did that, by the

way. Uh, trap doors and shelves. And I I

used the oak ones on this side, and then

I used spruce on this side. And the

reason is because they're actually

covering up different blocks. We have

like colored terracotta behind here

because this wall for the inside of this

room and that room are completely

colored. So to hide it, I created like

these little art pieces with painting,

framing, we got lighting, we got leaves

around. I mean, it looks so so good. I

really want to talk about the flooring

up here, too. You can see like we have

beams kind of going across. I created

like this really awesome design like a

floor design also a ceiling design for

the bottom floor and it came out really

nice with these beams. Let's walk up the

staircase so we can make it feel you

know natural like as if we're walking up

here. You look up you can see we have a

massive like light fixture hanging down.

We have some decorations here too like

we have some plants, some paintings,

some shelves going all the way up. So,

their entire stairwell is completely

decorated and lit up. It looks so so

nice. And then you can see looking all

the way up, we have some skylights

because I figured that, you know, if the

house is a little high-end, a little

upscale, I think we should have some

skylights around to let in some natural

light. I actually wanted to use tinted

glass because during the daytime it gets

a little too bright in here. So, I opted

for the tinted glass, but you can use

whatever glass you really want. If you

want that natural light, you totally can

do that. But you can see the way that I

lit up this whole area. We you can see

that we have some spots that are super

bright like right here. And then other

spots that are a little bit darker so we

have contrast of lighting throughout the

build. And that's what makes it look

super nice up here. We come up the

staircase and here is our little

landing. We can see through the bottom

floor. And then here is our full

enchanting setup. Yes, this will get you

to level 30 enchanting. And uh yeah, it

looks really nice. We got some shelving

in front of these two rooms. By the way,

this room is our master suite. And then

this room is the guest suite. So, let's

actually enter our guest suite. And you

can see we went with a magenta and

purple theme in this room. So, here's

our grand kind of front door here. It

looks really nice with the little fairy

lights that I added. You know, we got

some vines. We got another skylight all

the way up there. And we have a complete

built-in kind of window unit with some

storage here. We even have furnaces. I

wanted to make it as functional as

possible for you guys. Crafting. We have

our potion. Uh our brewing stand. We

have an ender chest, etc. And here's our

grand bed, our king-size bed. I love

this like little lamp design that I

made. It's like a looks like a little

mini floor lamp. Looks really nice. We

have another one right here. And then we

have some extra crafting blocks in this

corner. Some shelving up there and a

little armor stand. This leads out to

our front balcony. So, our guests can

also have their own little balcony here.

We even have a little rug on both sides

right there. Sticking with that magenta

theme. And that is the guest suite. Now,

we have one more room to check out. And

that is the master suite. So, this is

where we will be staying because this is

our master suite right here. And we

enter here. You can see we have a lot

more space. It's even bigger than the

guest suite. Let's start with this

little corner here. Because I had this

extra space, I created an entire

functional crafting setup, plus potions.

So, we can brew our potions here. We

even have a cauldron. Love this dog

painting. It's actually one of my

favorite paintings, honestly. Like, it's

really nice. And yeah, here is all of

our crafting blocks that we could ever

need. Ender chest, stone cutter, etc.

It's all here. Little table right here,

cuz I just wanted to fill in some of

this space. More built-in kind of

storage right here. We even have those

rugs now in the red carpet because this

room's theme is red. And then here is

our side balcony. Obviously that looks

out to the side of the house. Here is

our kingsize bed. It's all in red now.

Got some shelves on top of it. Some

plants. I love this little built-in that

I made. Like I made like an entire

built-in kind of shelving unit, I guess

I would call it. It's purely just for

decoration, but you can add whatever

blocks you want, chest and whatnot to

make it more functional, but I wanted to

keep it like kind of dark. I really love

how the terracotta is kind of punching

through the back of this piece, and it

looks really nice. Now, we make our way

all the way to the end of the room. Just

a little table here with a amethyst bud

for some extra lighting. More shelving

up here, and then a little reading area

with our jukebox and our three favorite

music discs. And then this leads out to

our beautiful balcony. We have two

balconies. And that is the master suite.

And that is pretty much the entire
