Next, PLC is also connected to the output device, namely the magnetic contactor and the indicator light. Then, the motor circuit is used to connect the three-phase voltage source to the electric motor. The ladder diagram is designed to control the input and output devices.

Check the voltage that enters the panel terminal using a voltmeter. The voltage of 3 phases is 380 volts and the voltage of 1 phase is 220 volts. The next step is to make a program. Make a program of the motor system in sequence using the ladder diagram on the CX Programmer software.

What you need to pay attention to when making a ladder diagram is when we use the push button NC as a stop button, then the ladder diagram is made NO. On the contrary, if we use the push button NO as a stop button, then the ladder diagram is made NC. The program that has been made will be uploaded to PLC.

What you need to pay attention to is that to connect this type of PLC to a computer, we use USB 2.0 type B cable or cable that is commonly used as a cable printer. After connecting PLC to the computer, make sure the computer can read the PLC status like this. Perform the program transfer procedure from computer to PLC like this.

Before operating the system, perform the operation of the control system on the PLC. Increase MCB 1 phase, then L3 will be activated. Press the PUSH button ON, then K1 and L1 will be activated. 5 seconds later, K2 and L2 will be activated automatically. Press the PUSH button OFF, then K2 and L2 will be turned off.
