New kayak spot. We've been here before.

There's my oldest squirrel and my

youngest squirrel in there.

There's friends, sons, more friends,

sons. We got about 13 and this is

Talladega Creek kayak.

It's a little different here. You drop

off

your uh

all your stuff and all your people here

and then you drive down to Talladega

Creekside Resort and pay and dump your

wagons off and then they bring it back

up here. So, it kind of works out

perfectly.

And if you've never been here, this is a

really pretty

part of uh

Alabama, another pretty part.

Pretty part.

And then this is where you drop off your

rides, right around the corner here.

Holy smackers, always. No wonder they

wanted me to make reservations.

So, we're at the drop-off.

So, this is where it all begins.

So, here we are, we're loaded up, about

to head out.

All the money goes to kids with blood

cancer.

And uh they're going to give away a

kayak and I think some cash and uh some

more prizes.

ducks in the creek.

they they should have numbers on them.

We made it out here.

We got our crew.

Got all five of them.

Got all four of them. We got all four of

I'm so excited.

They're already waiting. This is a duck

thing today. We could have bought ducks.

But I forgot.

And uh

Look at the water.

It's usually half this height and

crystal clear, but today

will be an easy float. You don't have to

do anything except

get in the water.

Fun fact, forgot our water.

So,

I'm ready to get in there with all them.

Here comes a van with some drop-offs.

Look at our crew.

We're waiting on our second round of

kayaks. They forgot to turn in their

tokens.

You get poker chips now and you turn

them in. After you pay, you got to give

the crew in the garage next door your

poker chip. Otherwise, you'll be

standing here like half our group

waiting on them to get time to go back

and get them.

It's so much higher

than I've ever seen it that uh

it's hard to get a a start off without

losing everybody.

But, we did it.

Girls are weird. But, girls are a lot

more fun than guys, I'll tell you that.

The water's moving so fast

I thought it was like a private event.

it.

The only problem with girls is when

they're behind you and they start

giggling,

when the girls are behind you and they

always giggle, you think there's

something in your

something in your tea.

They're making fun of me. Cuz it's all

about me.

Oh, they rose them giant springers and

walked across the field.

You know the worst thing in the world is

listening to children sing Christmas

It pumps water out to the fields.

Those big crawler sprinklers like on sod

farms.

This is a rock tumbler.

It's one of the world's biggest rock

tumblers. This guy's

a geologist

and he loves rocks.

So, that's why he's got a rock tumbler.

Most likely a

Cummins or an Onan engine.

And that thing washes all the silt and

crap off of it, so it still filters.

And the people are really nice

is really nice and

patient, especially with people like us.
