5 Keys to Divine Multiplication | Pastor Daniel Bracken
John chapter 6, John chapter 6, and we're going to go from verse 5, start of the new series, second message in the series. The series is entitled, Living the Supernatural Life of Multiplication, Five Keys to Divine Multiplication. Let's read the word of the Lord, John chapter 6, and verse 5, if you're all there, say what? Alright, here we go.
Then Jesus lifted up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward him, he said to Philip, Where shall we buy bread that these may eat? And this he said to test him. To do what to him? To test him. For he himself knew what he would do. Verse 7, Philip answered, 200 denarii, that's about eight months worth of salary, 200 denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them that everyone may have a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, There is a lad, a young boy,
who has five barley loaves and two small fish. But what are they among so many? Then Jesus said, make the people sit down. Now there was much grass in that place, so the men sat down, the number about 5,000. And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down, and likewise the fish, as much as they wanted. How much? As much as they wanted, verse 12.
So when they were filled, he said to his disciples, gather up their fragments at Rubain so that nothing is lost. Therefore, they gathered up and filled 12 baskets with fragments of the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten. Father, thank you for what you did at the first service. Now for your presence, your power, your anointing.
I pray that you would release your word, that you would do all that you want to do. Release all that's in your heart towards us today. That we would have ears to hear and a heart to respond. Thank you that your word is a lamp unto a feet of light upon our path. I pray that the effects of this service would be far-reaching, even to eternity. We thank you and we'll give you the glory in Jesus' name. Amen. You may be seated. Praise the Lord. Again, new series. Last time I preached...
Last time I preached, last Sunday, was the first message in the series called Teams, also entitled the Jethro Principle. Talked to you in the book of Exodus. Moses in that Exodus story has been used by God. And we do have notes going around, so you can fill in the notes as we move along. Moses is used by God to bring forth the judgments on all of the gods of Egypt. The last judgment being the death of the firstborn.
They come across the Red Sea and they're out in Mount Horeb. And Moses is sitting as a judge, as a ruler, as a leader, from sunup to sundown, teaching and helping those who would come with their problems. And he did that because he had the law and he had the wisdom and God's hand was upon him. As he's there with Jethro,
Jethro, his father-in-law, restores the marriage, and there's some things that happen there, if you studied that out. Zephora and his two boys are restored to Moses. Jethro says to Moses, oh, tell me about all that the Lord did, and so he tells him, and Jethro then says, now I know that your God is the God of gods above all other pagan gods.
And he, and he worshiped the Lord and he brought burnt offerings. Now this picture for Jethro is a picture of conversion. It's a picture of salvation. And honestly, in all of these years, I didn't see Jethro as a pagan worshiper, but as I studied that text, I saw actually he was. And it was at this moment that he became a worshiper of God. The burnt offerings, a picture of repentance. And then he gives Moses a word from the Lord and says, Moe,
The standing before the people and judging them from sunup to sundown is going to kill you, son. You can't kill. You're wearing everybody out. They've got to wait forever. I mean, you're not the only one that should do it. You should make teams. You should make leaders. Choose from amongst the heads of the tribes leaders, well-abled men, and teach them the word and teach them how to bring justice. And a multiplication comes. Now, that is the word of the Lord for us here at King's.
Multiply. We will multiply this next year. In fact, I've been trying to get it in your spirit. I hope you got it. I hope you're saying it every day. And if you're not, start. Because you can prophesy life right out of your own mouth. Come on. I am blessed. I will multiply. Now that you know it, say it. Make it personal. I am blessed. I will multiply.
That's right. Make it corporate. We are blessed. We will multiply. And we're seeing that. We're seeing it in souls. We're seeing it in finance. We're seeing multiplication in leaders and workers all over the place. And I believe it's because God in His, in His wonderful blessing by the power of His Spirit is drawing people and doing miraculous things. We're seeing multiplication of healing. Multiplication of everything. Come on. Someone say, I'm blessed. And I will multiply. I will multiply.
And of course, that's happening corporately. He says to, Jethro says, don't do it like that anymore. Moses listens, and he raises up leaders. He instructs them about the law, and the same spirit, I love this part, the same spirit that was on Moses, God put upon the leaders. And then Moses multiplied himself. In application, again, reviewing last Sunday's message before we get to today's. You have to multiply. Multiply.
Ma'am, it is not your will to do all the dishes, do all the laundry, to clean the whole house, to do everything all by yourself while everybody sits back. I know you should see the scowls I'm getting right now from dudes. Shut up. Shut up.
You need to teach your children how to, how to, you need to teach your kids how to cook, how to clean. Come on, come on. If you're 50 years old and you got a 16 year old in your house, you should not be mowing the lawn unless it's something like, really, it brings you great joy. Hello. The kid's eyeballs falling out of their head while dad does all the work. That's not God's plan. God's plan. I just picked that as an example. In your business, you should multiply. You should multiply. Raise up people.
Multi-level marketing. I won't ask you to raise your hand. It's a wave, a wave of, they call it the third wave, multi-level marketing. The whole power of multi-level marketing is not that you sell so wonderfully. It's that you sell, yes, and you teach a whole bunch of other people called your downline to sell, and they get blessed by selling, and that you get blessed by their proceeds also. And if they create a downline, so on and so forth. I said last week, don't approach me to be a part of the multi-level marketing.
marketing thing I can't do it I'm doing one thing I'm be myopic in my view I am about pushing the kingdom of God he said well I can do that and my multi-level marketing and I see it working together praise the Lord I don't have that revelation for me I'm gonna stay in my lane I'm gonna preach pray and prophesy that's what God called me to do I'm not gonna get it's a distraction for me I'm I some people think they can multitask ask my wife I'm not a good multitasker
I'm going to stay on task. I'm going to run my lane. But if, if God allows you to do that and you can do that and, and, and release wealth and release blessings on people, fantastic. If you don't create a downline, it'll just be you trying to sell toilet paper or, or oil or whatever it is. You understand? You've got to create a downline. The military is the same way. There has to come multiplication. And any job that God would call us to do in the kingdom cannot be done alone.
Everything God calls us to, he always brings a team. Paul and his apostolic team, Jesus and his 12, on and on and on and on and on and on. That's last week's message. This text, I'm going to give you five keys to divine multiplication. Let's look at this now, look at the text. My wife and I had the joy in 2014 of actually standing in the site that is purported to be the place where Jesus fed the 5,000.
And while we stood there inside a church, there's a church like over nearly every major site there in Israel. If you haven't had the chance to go to Israel, we will go again and lead a trip there. And so we'll let you know more about that. It's life-changing. The Bible never read the same since I went there. It's just so incredible. And as we stood there, we were amazed as Dr. Morocco, my pastor, preached to us about multiplication.
And Jesus fed the 5,000. It's not just the 5,000. They could have all had wives, so there could have been 10,000. And then they could have had kids. Some people say it was 20,000 people he fed. And we don't know for sure.
But kind of astounding. This is the only miracle, write in your notes, the only miracle of Jesus outside of the resurrection that's shared in all four gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke. Those are the synoptic gospels. They have a lot of commonality. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are called the synoptic gospels. John's very different. But this feeding the 5,000 is in all four.
And so we're going to look at a composite picture. What do you mean by that? If you were to go and look and find the feeding of the 5,000, Matthew, Mark, and Luke, I'm drawing from some of the composite things that were said there. They're not said in John, but the main text is John. So Jesus is wanting to be alone with his disciples. You'll see a crowd followed him on the shore as he was in the boat. And when he got there, he saw the crowd and he had compassion. You'll find that compassion is a key to releasing miracles.
Jesus was frequently moved with compassion and then he would release healing. And his concern was, we're writing your notes now, his concern was the crowd, concern for the crowd caused him to initiate the miracle. So he saw that they're hungry. He's like, wow, Father, we've got to do something about this here. And he used the opportunity to test the faith of his disciples. And as we read, he said this, to test them. Verse 6, Philip answered in verse 7, 200 denarii, that's eight months worth of wages. 200 denarii is not...
worth of bread is not sufficient to give them just a little bit. If you had, if you had eight months of finances, you still couldn't get everybody a piece. That's what Philip says. And Andrew says, he looks at these, at these limited resources as this boy offers this, this sack lunch. And, and it's not two beluga whales, you understand. It's not like, and he brought two beluga whales that he offered to the Lord to feed the 20,000. It's two little salted fish.
Two little cute little fish and five tiny little rolls. It's not like giant loaves of bread and two whales. This little boy comes and offers, and Andrew says, this could hardly feed anybody. He looks at the limitation, but the boy willingly gives his lunch. Jesus was testing to see who had faith. Who do you think had faith? The boy. The boy did. We must become like one of these little ones.
Children are so beautiful in their faith. I don't know if you've seen that before, where they just have a tendency to believe at times when others can't. I remember years ago we had lost our grace. Grace is our dog. So you're like, he lost grace? No, that's hard to do.
Grace, our little Jack Russell, got an attitude, which is not uncommon for Jack Russell Terriers, and it ran away and was somewhere. And we didn't know if an eagle came down and swooped it up out of our yard or what happened. So it's like a family member of sorts has gone. And so the kids are upset. I'm tucking Hannah in. She was just a little girl. She was probably 9 or 10 at the time. Tucking her in.
and we pray for grace to be found, and she says this to me, Dad, you hear from God, don't you? I said, absolutely. She says, why don't you just ask God where the dog is, and then just go get the dog. I'm like, okay. I walk out, and I'm totally convicted. You know, sometimes we can hear for other people and prophesy and bring the word of the Lord, and then it comes to us, we're like crickets, you know what I mean?
so I was so convicted I walked out of her room and I said okay well I'm gonna go talk to God so I did I think Lord um like like this is a great opportunity if you could just tell me right now if you could tell me like it'll really help her faith and be amazing and really I'd like the dog back so I just said God can you show me where and instantly I have a picture of my dog locked in the shed which is a really random thought that's not like a normal thought I thought what dog's in the shed
I'm like, hey, Hannah, I think God just told me where the dog is. Oh, where? I said, in the shed. I'll go get her. I went outside. I opened the shed. The dog's sitting there. Like, I've been waiting for you. Never barked. Never did anything. Brought the dog in. Hannah's like, you should have asked sooner. The dog slept inside. You know, dead of winter. It's not going to survive, you know. Children. This boy is the one who had faith. Philip didn't. Andrew didn't. They're looking at, oh, there's too much money. We can't do that. All the costs. There's limited resources. We're
There's limited resources. There's only limited resources in your own pea brain. I know, I'm not talking to you. If you were offended, I wasn't talking to you. There's only limited resources by us having this box view of what God can do. God's outside the box. Come on, someone say God's outside the box. And Jesus commands his disciples, which is pretty intense, disconcerting, I think, for them. You'll see in one of the accounts that he commands them to put him in groups of 50. Now, understand that when he's put him in groups of 50, he's organizing things.
And the people are sitting down. They understand that they're being organized to be fed. They're not going to play patty cake in a group of 50. They understand they're all hungry, 20,000 people, groups of 50. So if you're a disciple and you're organized, just, yeah, just groups of 50, yeah. And they understand you're going to have a riot. It's going to be a major problem. I mean, we'll have a problem in the ministry if the two fish, the two little cute salted fish, not belugas,
and the little rolls aren't multiplied if something happens we're gonna have a problem and secondly he tells them to give them the bread and the fish so he could bless it he give thanks to the father and i will tell you that the moment you begin to give thanks worship and have an attitude of gratitude is the moment the blessings begin to be released so many times people are bellyaching about everything that's wrong and not really looking at what's right good just pure holy noble admirable
and they're, they don't have thanksgiving. If you read Romans, ingratitude can be an idol and can bring you right down to a very deep, dark place. Don't ever lose your attitude of gratitude. And, and so the Lord gives thanks to the Father for the two fish. And thirdly, he distributes, to distribute the bread and the fish to the people. And, and then they, it multiplies. But, but understand, he doesn't pray and then it's like, all of a sudden.
you know, fish everywhere. It multiplied as they worked along with the Lord. And people had as much as they want. And then they picked up leftovers. Everyone could eat as much as they want. Five keys to divine multiplication. First one is how strong is your faith? Faith. We don't like difficulties. We don't like problems. You know what's great about trials? You know what's great about tests?
If you don't go through a test, you'll never have a testimony. And it doesn't require faith many times when you're just seeing things just happen. Doesn't require confident assurance of what you cannot see. Hebrews 11, 1, now faith is confident assurance of what you cannot see. The little boy had faith. If you're going to see multiplication and blessing, come to your home, come to your family, come to your marriage. Come on, you might be having difficulty in your marriage. It's an opportunity for your marriage to be healed.
You might be having difficulty in your finances. Maybe there's a mountain before you. Listen, quit looking at the mountain and belly aching and look to the one who can remove it. Fix your eyes on him, the author and the perfecter, the finisher of your faith. Begin to decree and proclaim, God, I know that you want to do healing and blessing. Lord, in Jesus' name, stir my faith to take action. You'll never see supernatural multiplication without faith.
I want to tell you that everything you see around here in that church on the hill with the steel, we had some delays last week and some challenges with the fire department. We had 11.5 people arguing on Facebook. I don't really listen to any of that. And some Twitter feed with very nearsighted people whom God loves. Everything you see, we never had one nickel to do anything that we've done. We never had a dollar to hire our first secretary 35 years ago, Pastor Ann Fujii.
We never had a dollar to build any building. But we would pray, God would speak, and then we would take action, and then God would show up over and over and over and over and over again. And the miracle that we're a part of as a corporate body here at King's, this miracle of the building that's going up, I want to tell you, it is absolutely the multiplication of loaves and fishes. It is supernatural in ways that would freak you out.
I mean, it's just like, I can't even tell you all the miracles we've experienced. From the purchasing of the property that we used to have. We bought it for $750. We sold it for $3.5. We purchased this building and rolled the rest of those millions into planting other churches. That eventually became debt free. That enabled us then to move forward. And we looked for property. We couldn't find one. At the word of a 10-year-old, we happened to grudgingly obey. 10-year-old. My son. My son.
"Dad, we need to go to the church property." I'm like, "That's nice. We're not going." "No, I want to see the old church property." I'm like, "Yeah, no, maybe another time." "Dad, we really need to go." And then the whole family at that time on a Monday when I go into usually like a Holy Ghost coma, just walk around my house drooling in the Spirit. Don't answer too many phone calls. You don't want counsel for me on Mondays. It's not very good. My Monday counsel is like, "Get a grip! Pull yourself up with your bootstraps. Pray in tongues!" I'm not so gracious on Monday. It was a Monday.
And we drive, and we're driving. We're right there to turn off to go to the property. Some of you heard the story. I grudgingly obeyed. All right, we'll go. We pull on. I get out. God's power falls on me. It was a barn, blown out, all the windows tagged everywhere, defiled property, up to your waist in weeds. It had been used in 10 years. I walk in the barn where we used to have church. How many went to the barn all those years ago? How many were on the tent maybe all those years ago? You experienced some of those prophetic meetings and different things.
I walk in the barn. I show my kids. Hannah's with me. Daniel's there. Karen is interceding in the car. So I say, oh, the chairs are like this. The soundboard was up there. And the pulpit was about here. And I lifted my hands. And I thought, oh, thank you, God. Because we shouldn't even be a church, truth be told. The devil hit us really hard. We shouldn't even exist. And I knew that, you know, we were growing and great things were happening. I lifted my hands. I said, oh, God, thank you. Thank you for what you, I didn't even get to finish. To me, it was audible, but my kids said they didn't hear it
But how many of you know when God speaks really loud, it's really loud maybe in your own heart. He said, I'm giving you the property back. And I thought, what? That's totally impossible. I knew in my mind, totally impossibility. It's worth $4 million. It's for sale for $4 million. I thought, that's impossible. And then I thought, no, I'm not saying that. Okay. I walked out, called a real estate guy.
I said, man, this is what happened. Call on it right now. They called. It had gone back to the bank, and we picked it up for one million, and our church made three million in one day. In one day. See, the key to multiplication is you have to have faith. I could have stood there. I could have stood there and said, man, that's impossible, Lord. Maybe you just made it in the spirit. You don't really want to get. Come on, we can derail our miracles so oftentimes. Come on, Philip. Philip's like, there's not enough money. There's no way.
And, and Andrew's like, there's even, even, even if we use the boys lunch, it's not enough. And I've known friends of mine that couldn't move forward in their building projects because they had a board that would not agree. They had a board that said, well, we don't have enough money. When we have enough money, then we can build. You never see that in the kingdom. Ever. Need to be a good steward? Absolutely. Well, that's never been done before. I've had bankers tell me that. I had people tell me, well, you can't build that. Build a shoe bay for Wash Hill. We'll fill it right up.
Right now we would fill it. We'd go into multiple services right now in that building right now. So he said it's so big. It's not big enough, but it's as big as we could do it on the property. And we prayed. God showed us what we should do. We've wrestled with it. A whole team of people, a whole corporate body believing. Listen, you're never going to see loaves and fishes feed 20,000 people if you stay in the limitation of your finite mind. No one likes difficulties. Everyone likes miracles. Well, hallelujah.
We do things based on whether God spoke to us to do it or not. That's why we do it. If you'll stop looking at the problems and look at the problem solver, you stop looking at the wind and the waves and look at the one who speaks and the wind and the waves is still. You stop fixing your eyes on every problem, every trial, all the mountains and how impossible it is and line your heart up.
with the truth of God's word, that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You can make it. The mountain can melt like wax in the presence of the Lord. God can release windfall, break through miracles for you of provision. He can release healing. He can release his kingdom. It is his plan. It is his good pleasure. You, being evil, know how to give your children. If your son asks for bread, would you give him a scorpion?
You being evil know how to give good, good, good. Give good gifts to your children, though we being evil. How much more your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to them that you don't have because you don't. Twelve men go into the promised land to give a good report. They come back. Ten have a bad report. Two have a good report. Their perception of who God was, your perception of who God is, will release faith or limit it. Well, God doesn't really love me. He's so busy. He's got some... Oh, stop. Stop.
He's omnipresent. And you're the apple of his eye. Come on. You're standing before the Red Sea. The Lord says to Moses, why are you talking to me? Move forward. There's times when you pray and believe and intercede. And there's times where you just put one foot in front of the, what is that? The abominable snowman. Right. Praise God. Spring is here. We won't talk about that.
It's not going to snow. It's not going to snow. It's not going to snow. In Jesus' name. All you plow guys, God bless you. May the Lord take care of your plow business somewhere else. Amen. I'm just saying. When it snows like a foot in April, you're like, oh, God, touch me now. Anybody else? Is that just me? I came from Kauai. I'm just saying. All right. Everybody say faith. Secondly, God uses people to flow his miracle power through.
God uses people. He used this small boy and he multiplied. Isn't that the story? I've seen people come who can hardly sing, but they can sing a little bit, want to be a part of the choir. They get in the choir. Mom, you remember when we went and joined the choir all those years ago and Brother Earl was next to us? I can remember right where I was standing and you were right there and he was standing next to us and we're singing and there's a pause, you know, Pastor Chris says, okay, take a break, hold on a second. And Earl looks back at us and says, well,
Make a joyful noise. I don't even know what that meant. I was a new believer. I think it meant like you can't sing much, but praise God you're trying. I think that's what it was. And yet over time, I've seen people who couldn't sing much all of a sudden develop a voice, all of a sudden grow. Listen, little becomes much in the hand of God. Say that with me. Little becomes much in the hand of God. We're talking about you. Heidi couldn't sing and chew gum or walk and chew gum. You could walk and chew gum, but you couldn't play the keyboard and sing.
Until God touched you, you asked him to, and he made you prepared at the perfect time. What a blessing. Good to have you, Minister Heidi, with us. God uses people. A golf club in my hand is a frustrating morning or afternoon, mostly. It's just because I'm not much of a golfer. Put a golf club in Tiger Woods' hands. BGA tours, winning stuff, Nike endorsement, on and on and on. A baseball bat in my hand, I'm like, I strike out, but occasionally I hit.
Who's a big batter these days? Anybody? Anybody baseball fans out there? Mike Trout, thank you. Okay, I imagine he can knock the cover off the ball, right? So baseball bat in my hands, it's not a very good batting average. Baseball bat in Mike Trout's hands. I'm not much of a basketball player. My son loves basketball. He's a way better shot than I am, but I can foul way better than he can. I am profound fouler. Yeah, no, I'm good. I can foul good. Yep, yes.
Just, I don't know. It was like wrestling and football and elbows and stuff. I don't know. I just, you know. Oh, hey, sorry, huh? Missed that shot, didn't you? Okay, so basketball, me playing basketball ain't much. Basketball in the hands of LeBron James? That's impressive, right? I've had all kinds of projects at home. Tried to build things. Tried to build a chicken coop. No, this thing was twisted. I've never, it looked like something from hell. It was just twisted. It had this unique twist. And it was so jacked up. I just thought,
The Lord had me do it, and I'll tell you what happened. I stopped the clock. I'm not going to go much longer, but I have to. The Lord had me build a chicken coop to realize that I can't build the building. I know that's funny, but as I'm building the chicken coop, the Lord said to me, you can't do both. And I had people saying, you need to be the project manager because the church needs to take money. You need to be the project manager. Listen, you don't want me managing any project like that. Call John over here. Call John Stewart. He's really good at it.
And so I'd call Jon Stewart and ask for advice, and then I'd try to apply. And it's like, the thing was so far from square. And finally, I was like, I don't know if we're like burnt. Should we just burn it? You know, I got like $1,000 of wood into the thing, roofing. You know, it's a shed that started out a $500 shed that turned out to be $1,000. I'm going to make a chicken coop. But I know enough not to make just a chicken coop, because I'm going to kill all the chickens soon, and then I want a shed. So I made a shed that had been a chicken coop, and now it was a chicken coop, and now it's back to a shed. It was twisted. It was twisted.
And I sat there. I'm like, man. So I call. And there was somebody in the church who said, you know, I can help you, pastor. I'm like, okay. I need help. They come over with like all kinds of laser equipment. You know what I mean? And they're like, oh yeah. I'll help you. You know. It's, it was wrong from the, from the very, it wasn't flush from the, whatever the word is. You know what I'm saying? I'm saying,
And the Lord spoke to me and said, you can't even build a chicken coop. You ain't even going to try to build a building. You stay in your lane. You build leaders. You build the church. I'll take care of building the building. And that is exactly what God has done. God uses, God uses people. I've seen people come into this church broken, beaten down.
I've seen battered wives, battered husbands. I've seen people addicted, afflicted. I've seen people just under the curse come receive Jesus, receive him as their Lord and Savior, and watch the lights go on. I've seen people suicidal and addicted on crack, heroin. I've seen people on methamphetamines.
Come on, fentanyl. I've seen people on all kinds of messed up problems. I've seen people emotionally distraught and not on drugs. And people on drugs and emotionally distraught. I've seen everything in between. And I've seen God come into their heart as they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and take somebody broken, lost, and thrown away by society and seen God raise them up to be used by God. In fact, I'm just talking about some of our pastors. Amen.
I think about Dotson Emakita, who was, he was kicked out of the Marshall Islands for murder. It wasn't proven, and I think if I recall, he didn't know if he did it or not. He's told the testimony. Marshall Islands, he basically worked for us in Kauai as a janitor. And that day we were praying, and the Lord said, go get him and put him in the ministry. Tell him he's fired from his janitor job. I went and told him I found him. He was sweeping at the hotel. And is it Lihuey?
Somewhere on Kauai. The Kauai Lagoons where we used to have church. He's sweeping. I walked up and I said, hey man, the Lord spoke to me today. He said, you're fired. He's like, I said, but you're going into the ministry so put the mop away. Put the broom away. You're going to hang with me until further notice. And that's what he did. He hung with me. Every day we'd take time and drink. I taught him to drink French roast. Really dark. Really strong. Really strong.
Made by Pastor Karen. We'd spend the whole day, one day, a whole week of intensive discipleship and training. It took place for maybe, oh, I don't know, I want to say three months or so. At the end of three months, I got a call from Dr. Morocco, and we had had a problem, and the Marshallese pastor could no longer pastor there, and there was a group of Marshallese that needed a leader, and they didn't have one. So he calls me and says, hey, you know that guy Dodson?
I said, yeah. He says, would he be able to lead this group over here? And I thought, that is the most incredible thing. I said, yeah, like ready as of last week.
And that's the truth. We were just done the week before. Pastor Dotson got on a plane, went over there, took that. Do you know that he's planted, what is it? How many is it now? 44 different churches all across America. Thousands. I'm not, not hundreds. Thousands of people are a part of that. One guy, come on, God took the likes of, come on, Moses was someone who struggled with anger. God took him, changed him, and used him. Come on, someone say God can use people. Oh, I got to hurry. Jesus is the multiplier.
Now, if you read further on in John, Jesus breaks it down and says that he's the bread of life. Verse 26, Most assuredly I say to you, you seek me because you saw the signs, but because you ate the loaves and were filled. Verse 27, Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal on him. Verse 29. No. Verse...
33, for the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. And they said to him, Lord, give us this bread always, verse 35. And Jesus said, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst. Wow. See, all of this was about showing them that he is the one
This building of the church, this building of the kingdom is not about a man, it's not someone trying to build their own reputation. It's about releasing the bread of life, multiplication and blessing. It's about reaching the lost. It's about reaching people with the love of God. That you can be redeemed. You can be healed. You can be free. The mountain can move. The sea can part. You can make it. You can do it. You can walk in the blessing of God. You don't have to be depressed. You don't have to be filled with anxiety.
to be tormented. You can be filled. You can be satisfied by the bread of heaven. And Jesus is the one that does it. And I love how going on in the notes now that Jesus doesn't waste a thing. Would you come please? Ushers, would you prepare communion? Jesus doesn't waste a thing. They gather up the fragments. Don't ever waste a good trial. You're going through something. Understand that he's going to take what you're going through. He's going to multiply. He's going to bless you. And he's going to use it for the furtherance of his kingdom if you'll respond rightly.
And that Jesus is more than enough. This year. This year. This year is a year of blessing and multiplication. Speak it over your life. Do you have faith or are you filled with limitations? Stop. Stop. Stop limiting yourself through your mouth. Feast on him. Fix your eyes on him. Let God use you. You are God's plan. As in mankind is God's plan to reach the nations of the earth. Somebody gets healed and free and redeemed. That's his plan.
So that we could feed the multitudes with the bread of heaven. Can you say amen? Ushers, would you come please? We're going to go ahead and serve communion. If you're not right with God, I implore you on Christ's behalf to be reconciled. There is a place called hell and it's to be shunned. Jesus came to redeem you from the curse of the law. Jesus came to purchase you. He was a propitiation. Propitiation. Big theological word that means he averted the wrath that was headed towards you. He averted it.
by taking wrath upon his own body on a cross. As soon as everybody's served, we'll receive communion together. If you've never given your heart to Jesus, don't you leave this place in that condition. And if you have, but you've got compromise in your life and you know it, you know that you've got compromise. You're not living rightly for God. You're doing whatever you want, but you used to be on fire maybe. You want to come home. You want to sell out. Want to give your life to Jesus for the first time?
Or secondly, you want to recommit to him because you've drifted. Or thirdly, you just want to be assured of your salvation. If you fit in any of those categories as ushers are continuing to serve, then give your life to Jesus. Recommit your life to the Lord. You say, that's me, Pastor. Well, welcome home. Be washed. Be forgiven because of what Jesus has done. You say, that's me, Pastor. What do I do? I want you to repeat this prayer right after me. Say, dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your son Jesus to die in my place.
to rise again from the grave for me. Forgive me of all of my sin and come into my heart. Be my Lord. Be my Savior. Wash me. Cleanse me. And make me new. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Let me pray for you. Holy Spirit, I pray you'd fill and touch. I pray you break every chain, break every bondage. Release your power upon these, upon us, to live for you, unabashed, unashamed,
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe. Release your power through us. Release multiplication through us. We thank you. Fill us with your spirit and use us for the purpose for which we were created in Jesus' name. As they're continuing to serve, would you stand up on your feet and let's all sing this together. How many of you know this one?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus Oh precious is the flow Makes me wine as snow on earth
Oh, come on, let's sing it again. What can make me whole? Come on, lift your voice. Sing to it. Oh, precious makes me whole. Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
On the night that Jesus was betrayed, he took the bread and he broke it in likewise manner. He took the cup and he blessed it. And he said, this is my body and my blood, which is broken and shed for you. And as often as you do this, do this in remembrance of me. So God, before you, before your throne right now, we remember that it is by your stripes that we're healed. We remember that you took our sin and throw it as far as the east is from the west. It's you with the payment.
for our sin, that we are the redeemed of the Lord. We thank you. We thank you, Lord, that you're our healer. Jehovah Rapha, you're our healer. You're a balm in Gilead. God, you heal. Healing is purchased at the cross, at the atonement. Healing is part of the kingdom of God. So release your healing and your blessing and we remember and declare you're eminent and soon, very soon, return.
We give you praise and glory. We declare and receive these things now in Jesus' name. Amen. Eat and drink together. Okay, once again, the crackling sound is the breaking of a plastic cup, which started many years ago in symbolic nature that he broke every curse.
On purpose, I don't crush mine. For those of you who don't feel like crushing it, it's fine. It's not a theological thing that we're doing. Well, it is. I mean, it's a theological statement. But anyway, it's not doctrine. You don't have to crush your cup. Thank you so much. Would you be seated for just a moment? Pass those cups to the center. I want to bring attention to one quick thing. Ushers and those duly sworn to assist us in that way. Pastor Vince, would you help us? Can I have some men help us with those cards, please?
We are going to receive a special offering on, thank you, John, we're going to receive a special offering on Easter, and I'm going to do it on Resurrection Sunday, and it's our resurrection offering that we do. Passing out cards and encouraging you to participate in that as the Lord would lead you. And I won't make a big push or deal about it on Resurrection Sunday, but I will now. Every time they would gather for the feast, now Resurrection Sunday is in alignment with Passover.
You can read through the Old Testament. There's times and seasons that God has placed in his authority. And there's times when Israel would gather three times a year. They would gather for the feast. And three times a year they would come and bring an offering. We do that three times a year. We have a time where we emphasize and encourage you to participate in giving. And this is how we're doing our building. One of the ways. One of the miracles happens right through little Dole does. Come on, he can use a donkey.
He can use me. Right? So you pray. You believe. And listen, this is like the loaves and fishes. Like, what could I do? Who knows what God can do with your two fish and your five loaves or half a fish. I don't know. You just pray. Come on. Little becomes much in the hand of God. Right? So you take this thing home. Would you put it on your fridge? Put it in your Bible? Do whatever you want. Pray and see if God wouldn't have you do something like he used that little boy to bring multiplication. Amen? Would you do that?
Thank you so much. Let's close. Thank you for coming today. Don't miss tonight, 5 o'clock, our King's School of Ministry informational meeting right here. Be a part of that 6 o'clock.
