Hi there, now that the electric team is all  caught up, it is time to shift our attention to

0:05

the second most neglected element. Robella is the  latest V6 hyper carry in town and the first step

0:10

towards the revival of the freeze team. Her full  potential only unlocks with the release of Alva,

0:15

but assuming no major shake-ups in Mica’s release  schedule, she shouldn’t be far off. The showcase

0:20

from Snows features both characters, but here I’ll  focus on Robella’s kit, going over her mechanics,

0:25

investment breakpoints, and build recommendations.  If you’d like to get a glimpse of the duo’s

0:30

performance, you can view their chapter in this  overview. But without further ado, let’s get to it.

0:38

Robella starts the battle by choosing a  partner to link with via her S1 which applies

0:42

unity and is signified by the W icon. The linked  partner gains 10% of Robella’s initial attack when

0:48

dealing freeze damage. Initial attack refers to  the pre-battle attack value shown in the refitting

0:52

room. If Robella is at least V1, she will also  receive 20% of the chosen ally’s initial attack as

0:58

a bonus. The link is permanent and does not need  to be refreshed, but since it grants extra command

1:04

and has no cost, it can be used strategically by  swapping the partner within a turn to maximize

1:08

freeze damage. That said, before Alva’s release,  Makiatto is the best target for the buff. After

1:15

the S1, Robella follows up with her S2 which  is another buff skill, this time applying a

1:20

Frost barrier and her own unique buff Radiant  Rise to herself. Radiant Rise grants Robella

1:25

30% bonus damage, or 50% from her V2 onwards.  It also enhances other mechanics in her kit,

1:31

among which is also Unity, which now grants 15%  of her initial attack to the chosen ally. Radiant

1:38

Rise lasts for 2 rounds before her V5 while  the S2 has a cooldown of 3 rounds, meaning

1:42

the enhancement has a downtime before then. When  using a V6 Robella, the unenhanced effects become

1:48

irrelevant so long as you remember to reapply  the buff. As Alva continues with her AoE attack,

1:55

you can see a secondary instance of damage against  all targets in range following the skill’s damage.

2:00

This is another effect from Unity, adding 30%  of Robella’s ATK as freeze damage if enhanced,

2:05

or 20% otherwise, when the ally with unity makes  an active attack or an Interception. Like Leva’s

2:12

Overclocking Strike, this is proper elemental  damage that benefits from other damage bonuses,

2:16

including the ability to land critical hits.  Then, every target hit by the attack gains 2

2:22

stacks of Inspection if Unity was enhanced,  or 1 if not. A bonus stack is applied if the

2:27

attacker dealt freeze damage. Inspection is a  core mechanic of Robella’s kit and we will see

2:32

its effects in just a moment. Since Alva dealt  freeze damage and Unity is enhanced, 3 stacks of

2:38

Inspection are applied to the targets. Note that  the device on the left was not inside Alva’s AoE,

2:43

so it currently doesn’t hold any stacks. This gets  fixed with the next attack, so that no one feels

2:48

left out. Note that the boss was hit both times,  thereby stacking inspection to its limit of 6.

2:58

Jumping ahead to the enemy’s turn. First, you see  Alva intercept the enemy’s attack. To reiterate,

3:04

as with active attacks, Interceptions also  trigger the effects of Unity. A secondary

3:09

instance of damage equal to 30% of Robella’s ATK  follows, after which Inspection is maxed out on

3:14

the target. After an assist from Dushevnaya,  the whole process is repeated once more,

3:18

again triggering the follow-up damage from  Robella. This hopefully makes clear why Robella

3:23

best synergizes with freeze characters  that have Interceptions in their kits,

3:26

which currently is limited to Makiatto, but soon  also Alva. Then, once the enemy’s turn concludes,

3:33

we get to see the benefit of Inspection. Following  right after Klukai’s DoTs, Robella launches Frigid

3:39

Infiltration against all targets with Inspection  in her range. This end-of-turn attack has a base

3:44

multiplier of 150% ATK which is increased by  9% per stack of Inspection if enhanced, or 3%

3:50

per stack if not. At the limit of 6 stacks, this  equates to an impressive 204% damage multiplier.

3:56

After the attack concludes, the inspection stacks  are consumed and converted to an equal number of

4:01

sense weakness stacks. Below V6, sense weakness  can stack up to 10 times and increases both her

4:07

basic attacks’ and ultimate’s multipliers by  9% per stack. The bonus for the ultimate’s

4:12

multiplier is doubled at V4. When Robella has  at least 3 stacks of sense weakness, she gains

4:18

20% bonus critical rate and her basic attacks  deal freeze damage. The buff does not expire,

4:23

so starting from the end of the first round, this  effect is permanently active. From V3 and above,

4:28

Robella also gains 30% bonus critical damage  when reaching 6 stacks of sense weakness.

4:33

Since Robella is V6 in this example, her attacks  continue to convert inspection to sense weakness,

4:38

amounting to 15 stacks after pummeling the  devices, and another 6 for a total of 21 stacks

4:45

after the boss concluded its turn. Once your  wallet lifts the limitations of her kit, she can

4:50

accumulate these stacks indefinitely, meaning she  will deal more damage the longer the battle lasts.

4:55

It’s worth noting though that having multiple  targets to work with greatly helps her stacking

4:59

speed, as she’d at most gain 6 to 8 stacks per  turn in single-target fights. Next, on turn 2,

5:05

Robella proceeds with a basic attack. This may  be a bit unusual, but remember that both of

5:10

her skills are simply buffs. Her ultimate costs 4  confectance points and she only generates 1 point

5:16

at the end of her turn passively, meaning it has  a considerable downtime. Without help from Alva,

5:21

who restores 1 confectance point via her V2,  Robella only gets to use the ultimate twice

5:25

in a 7-turn battle like Gunsmoke. Therefore, at  V6, you typically start with her basic attacks to

5:31

continue building more sense weakness stacks.  That said, her basics, like any other, have a

5:36

baseline multiplier of 80%, but with 3 or more  sense weakness stacks get converted to dealing

5:41

freeze damage. Then, each stack of sense  weakness increases the multiplier by 9%.

5:46

Here, this amounts to a basic attack multiplier  of 269% for about 200k damage. Note that Robella

5:54

gained 2 more stacks of sense weakness after the  attack. This is due to her 3rd fixed key which

5:59

provides her with 2 stacks every time she uses  her basic attack. This is why she can restore up

6:03

to 8 stacks in single-target fights. Then, at the  end of the round, Robella continues to spread the

6:09

love via her end-of-turn attacks which convert  the newly applied Inspection stacks into sense

6:14

weakness. At the start of the next turn she is  now at a total of 38 stacks. Note that her buff

6:21

Radiant Rise would expire at this point without  her V5 upgrade, meaning the effects of Unity and

6:25

Inspection would no longer be enhanced. Her S2  is on cooldown for 2 more rounds, so the buff’s

6:31

uptime is only 50% at lower investment. Moving on,  Snows opts for another basic attack in this round.

6:38

With sense weakness at 38 stacks, the basic attack  now has a multiplier of 422% ATK, dealing about

6:44

325k damage. After Robella ends her turn, her  confectance index is fully recharged. As noted,

6:51

she passively restores 1 point per turn, so it is  high time to make use of it. That said, on round 4

6:59

it is finally time for the big guns. Robella is  now at 55 stacks. Her ultimate is a directional

7:04

AoE attack and is upgraded once she reaches her  V4. Then, its base multiplier is at 150% of her

7:11

ATK and gets increased by 18% per stack of sense  weakness. Here, at 55 stacks, which requires her

7:18

V6 upgrade, the bonus multiplier is almost 1000%.  The total skill multiplier adds up to 1140%,

7:26

dealing a bit more than 1.1 million damage. With  that, she just took off one third of the boss’ HP.

7:33

Note that before V6, this bonus would be capped at  180% due to the sense weakness stack limit of 10,

7:39

or 90% before her V4. Thus, the ultimate plays  a much less prominent role in Robella’s kit

7:44

without full investment. After its use, Robella’s  confectance index is down to 2 points, but once

7:50

her turn is officially concluded, she is back at  3. So long as you don’t overcap on confectance

7:55

points, you get to use the ultimate a second  time at the earliest on round 6 of a battle,

8:00

which is when Robella will have restored a total  of 5 points since the start. With that you should

8:05

be familiar with all of Robella’s mechanics.  Her rotation doesn’t change with her upgrades,

8:10

though your reasoning for when to best use her  ultimate may change. She starts the battle by

8:14

selecting a partner to link with and uses her S2  to gain Radiant Rise. Then, her S2 has 4 turns

8:20

downtime and is used again on turn 5, irrespective  of her investment. For the other turns,

8:25

you’re either going with her basic attack, here  denoted as S0, or with her ultimate, costing 4

8:30

confectance points. For clarity, I’ve denoted in  parenthesis the state of your confectance index

8:36

at the start of the respective round. In a 7-turn  fight, you get to use the ultimate twice and can

8:41

use it as early as the second turn. Below V6, your  sense weakness stacks may already be maxed at that

8:47

point, though only if there are at least 2 targets  in Robella's range. For Gunsmoke, you want to

8:52

align your highest damage turns with corresponding  damage windows. This typically entails the final

8:57

turn of the fight. Assuming you don’t finish  the battle early, this could mean using the

9:02

ultimate on turn 4 and 7, though again this really  depends on the context, so make your adjustments

9:06

accordingly. Moving on to Robella’s investment  breakpoints. All of them are in service of her

9:13

damage output and the improvements are fairly  evenly distributed across her upgrades. Her V1

9:18

and V3 are raw stat bonuses, as she receives 20%  of the initial attack of her linked partner and

9:24

a 30% crit damage bonus once she reaches 6 stacks  of sense weakness. Even in single-target fights,

9:29

this is achievable at the end of the first turn,  which from then on is permanently active. Her

9:34

V5 doubles the duration of her buff Radiant Rise  from 2 to 4 rounds, increasing its uptime to 100%.

9:40

Since she loses the enhancement effects without  the buff, it’s a noticeable difference in damage.

9:45

Finally, her V6 uncaps the maximum number of sense  weakness stacks. Before this upgrade, the limit is

9:51

10 stacks. This upgrade is necessary if you wish  to impress your fellow reddit or discord users.

9:57

Here is her power progression chart. As you  can see, most of her dupes provide reasonable

10:01

improvements, and she may be one of the few recent  DPS examples where the V6 is not overpowering all

10:06

other upgrades. This is mostly due to the  turn limitation in GFL2. While her ultimate

10:11

is great for screenshots and theoretically  stacks up infinitely, she only gets to use

10:16

it twice in a 7-turn fight, and less in shorter  battles. With a V2 Alva, this changes somewhat,

10:21

but even then the gain is not drastically  different. All that being said, as usual,

10:26

from a pure cost effectiveness standpoint, I’d  advise against pulling copies, unless you intend

10:31

to go all the way to make Robella your account’s  hyper carry. Finally, notice that her signature

10:36

weapon is a minor downgrade from Svarog. As  usual, other SMGs have a hard time measuring

10:41

up to Svarog's 20% defense ignore trait. Wanderer  Magnum provides at baseline an unconditional 15%

10:48

freeze damage bonus and up to 14% bonus damage for  out-of-turn attacks. Since the secondary part is

10:54

restricted to Robella’s frigid infiltration, the  weapon doesn’t provide nearly enough to warrant

10:58

the investment. Since Svarog is free, there’s no  reason to discuss alternatives. For attachments

11:04

it’s the usual, go with phase strike or freeze  boost and prioritize ATK and crit. Continuing with

11:09

Robella’s fixed key setup. Her first key makes the  ally with Unity apply defense down II before their

11:15

attacks or interceptions. This is valuable utility  and should be equipped unless you’re running a

11:19

mixed lineup with someone like QJ or Klukai. Then,  her second key grants her a 15% ATK bonus after

11:26

her turn if she has Radiant Rise. This effect has  2 turns downtime before her V5 but even then it's

11:32

a great option. As noted before, her third key  makes her basic attacks restore 2 stacks of sense

11:37

weakness. This is intended for V6 when the stacks  are no longer limited. Before then, you will max

11:43

them out too quickly to make this key relevant.  Her sixth key grants her buff removal via her

11:48

out-of-turn attack frigid infiltration. This can  be quite valuable in Gunsmoke, as its timing is

11:53

like Klukai’s DoTs right after the enemy’s  action. If the boss applied buffs to itself,

11:57

Robella will immediately dispel up to 2 of them.  Finally, her fourth key grants her a 20% damage

12:03

bonus and 30% shield penetration against targets  with shields. This may sound highly situational,

12:08

but Alva has an ability that applies a shield-like  effect to enemies. Then, this key will see great

12:14

use. In summary, Robella is the freeze team’s  new hyper carry, kicking off the revival of

12:21

the element. Like other modern DPS characters, her  damage output is competent at V0 and becomes great

12:26

at V6. Moreover, irrespective of her investment,  she provides a permanent 10 to 15% ATK bonus to

12:33

the linked partner’s freeze attacks, making her a  great asset for Makiatto enjoyers. Then, at full

12:38

investment, she is the character with the highest  damage potential in the game due to her unlimited

12:42

stacking mechanic. While millions of damage with  a single attack are great for screenshots or

12:47

Youtube, the investment loses most of its value  for shorter fights. When a battle ends within 2

12:52

or 3 rounds, there’s no real point in uncapping  her sense weakness limit, not to mention that

12:56

most fights don’t need you to shave off a million  HP from a target. She may be decent for Gunsmoke,

13:01

but even then her performance fluctuates with the  number of targets on the field. In single-target

13:06

fights, her stacking speed is heavily restricted  as inspection is capped at 6 stacks per target,

13:11

making her gain at most 8 stacks of sense weakness  after rounds with a basic attack. Aside from

13:16

her damage contribution, she enables the linked  partner to apply the common 30% defense reduction

13:20

debuff to the targets of their active attacks  and interceptions. While less relevant in mixed

13:25

lineups, the freeze team didn’t have access to the  debuff before. Then, she also gets to remove up to

13:30

2 buffs via her end-of-turn attacks, which is good  utility for Gunsmoke. Finally, Robella is fairly

13:37

self-reliant, requiring only one freeze ally to  team up with, preferably with interceptions. This

13:42

can be Makiatto for now, and Alva later. Then,  Robella and her partner can flexibly slot into

13:48

mixed elemental lineups, or make up the foundation  of a mono freeze team. This is in contrast to

13:53

the previously released Leva whose mechanics  essentially mandate a full squad to properly

13:57

function. Overall, Robella is the new ice core  and a worthy investment for anyone who wishes to

14:03

dust off their Makkiato or those who plan to pull  for Alva. To that end, she is perfectly fine at

14:08

V0 or V1 at most. Her V6 mainly shines in longer  fights, which isn’t exactly a common occurrence

14:14

in the game. Free-to-play and low spenders should  stay away from steep investments without universal applicability.

14:23

That brings us to the end of this  video. I hope you found this guide helpful and

14:27

have determined the best choice for your account.  On that note, let me know what your plans are. Are

14:32

you licking your wounds from having pulled the  entire electric team, or did you skip all these

14:36

patches, now itching for some gacha? I have to  warn you, Voymastina isn’t far off anymore, but I

14:42

guess a few pulls can’t hurt, right? In any case,  thank you so much for watching, see you next time.
