💥 CONTROL TOTAL: Vence la IRA y Gana RESPETO 🙌 // Billy Graham
Did you know that something as small as a
spark can burn down your entire
emotional world? Anger doesn't always scream;
sometimes it hides in silence, in
resentment, in that phrase you said
and now regret. And the most dangerous thing is
that you've normalized it. You've let it
control you, steal your relationships,
steal your health, and steal your peace. But
listen carefully, anger is not strength, it is
an emotional trap designed to
destroy you from within. In these
first four parts you will discover
how this silent enemy sabotages your
soul and, most importantly, you will learn
how to master it before it
destroys you. So if you're ready
to transform your reactions,
regain your inner peace, and take back
control of your mind and spirit, stay
until the end because this isn't just a
video; it's a spiritual training
that can change your destiny. And if
you feel this message is for you,
subscribe and turn on notifications, because
this is just the beginning.
Is it possible to live with an unbroken peace
, even when others offend,
criticize, or provoke you? Can one
truly remain calm in
a world that hurts, demands, and
pressures? The answer lies not in
human strength, but in a promise from
God. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my
peace I give you. I do not give to you as the
world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not
be afraid." John 14:27.
That peace is real, it is available, and today
I want to show you how you can walk in
it. Not because the conflict
disappears, but because the
Holy Spirit transforms you from within. Stay
with me until the end because together we will
discover how to overcome anger and
be guided by the serenity that only the
Lord can give. Number one, the
hidden danger of anger. Anger is not
simply a passing emotion; it is one
of the most destructive forces that
can dwell in the human soul. When we
allow ourselves to be dominated by it, we not only
hurt others with our words or
actions, but we poison ourselves from
within, losing clarity and
moving away from the fruit of the spirit. The
Bible says in Proverbs 29:11,
“A fool gives full vent to his anger,
but a wise man keeps himself under control.” When
we allow anger to take control, we
stop walking in wisdom and
become vulnerable to sin. Anger is
not a sign of strength, as some
think, but a sign that we have
lost self-control. It is like a
fire that starts with a spark, a
cursed word, an injustice
suffered, a frustrated expectation. And if we
give it space, it soon becomes
a blaze that consumes relationships,
decisions, and even our health.
James 19:20 exhorts us: “
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to
speak and slow to become angry, because
human anger does not produce the righteousness that
God desires.”
That spark, if we don't extinguish it with
prayer and wisdom, transforms into
something that devastates what we love most. And it doesn't just
affect our relationships;
our bodies also pay the price.
Medical studies confirm what the
Bible taught us centuries ago.
Anger can raise blood pressure and
weaken our immune systems. defenses and generate
diseases that steal years of our lives.
But beyond the physical, there is a
spiritual reality. The apostle Paul
tells us, "Be angry, and do not sin. “Do not
let the sun go down on your anger, and do not
give the devil a foothold.” Ephesians 4:26-27.
When we don't deal with anger in time,
we open doors that shouldn't be
open.
Many justify their outbursts by saying they
are provoked by what others
do, but in reality, it's not
external circumstances that bring us down
, but the way we
interpret them.
If someone hurts us with words, it's not those
words that determine our state,
but what we allow them to do in
our hearts. That's why we must take
every thought captive to the obedience
of Christ. When we let ourselves be carried away by
anger, our actions lose their
purpose. We say things we
later regret. We wound with
words that leave scars, and
often the consequences are
irreparable.
How many friendships have been destroyed
by an explosion of anger! How many
marriages have suffered wounds from
words spoken without thinking? Anger is
like a fog that prevents us from seeing
clearly what seemed justifiable at
the time. Later, it is revealed as
madness. That is why the Lord calls us to
walk in the Spirit, and one of its fruits
is precisely self-control. In
Galatians 5:22-23,
we read that this fruit includes love, peace,
patience, and self-control. If we let the
Spirit govern, He will teach us to
respond instead of reacting. There is
wisdom in pausing, in breathing, in
praying before speaking. Not everything we
feel needs to be said. Not every
provocation deserves a response.
Sometimes silence is the language of the
wise. Remember that when Jesus was
insulted, He did not retaliate. When He
was mistreated, He did not threaten, but
entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly (
1 Peter 2:23).
That is our guide, that is our
example. It is not in anger, it is not in
giving free rein to emotion, but in
surrendering every impulse to the Lord. Beloved,
anger is an internal enemy that must be
overcome, not with human strength, but with
the grace and power of God. The next
time you feel it rising within
you, stop. Now ask yourself if you
really This is worth losing your peace. And
above all, remember that nothing external
has authority over your soul if you don't
surrender it. True peace is not the
absence of conflict, but the presence of
Christ in the midst of conflict. He is
our peace. And if we live rooted in
Him, nothing can harm us.
Two. When your mind deceives you with
unrealistic expectations, do you know what
truly hurts us in life? It's not
what happens to us, it's what
we expected to happen and never did.
That silent abyss between what
we dreamed and what we experienced is the root of
many of your wounds. It wasn't betrayal
that broke you. It was thinking that
person would never betray you. It wasn't
failure that left you powerless. It was
believing you deserved to win and you didn't
. The soul isn't broken by
reality, it's broken by
unmet expectations. Your brain doesn't seek the
truth, it seeks confirmation. The
reptilian system of your mind is designed
for one thing: survival. That's why it
detests the unexpected, fears
change, and suffers when the script you
imagined goes awry. It doesn't happen. When that
occurs, your mind goes into defense mode, and
what begins as sadness
transforms into anger, bitterness, and
reactivity, and you don't even realize it
. For example, a young woman spends years
waiting for a promotion at work. She
works hard, arrives early, stays
late, believing it's just a matter of time.
One day the promotion finally arrives, but it goes
to someone else, and she's devastated. Perhaps it was
an unfair company, maybe it was
cruel life, perhaps. But the real blow
came because her mind had already experienced the
moment in her imagination. She
had already pictured herself celebrating, being
congratulated, feeling valued. And
when that didn't happen, it wasn't just
sadness; it was an emotional death.
Hope deferred makes the
heart sick. Proverbs 13:12. You see, it's not
the event itself that destroys you. It's the
delay of something your heart had already
claimed as its own. And every time that
happens, a crack opens, an
invisible wound that makes you more irritable,
more reactive, colder. But here's
the most powerful point. God He never promised to
meet your expectations. He promised to
fulfill His purpose, and often that
purpose hurts, breaks you, confronts you,
because you need the illusion
you created to die so that the
real plan God designed for you can be fulfilled.
For example, a wife prays for years
for her husband to change. She imagines a
transformation, a rebirth, a miracle.
But years go by and nothing happens. He
remains the same. She becomes frustrated,
bitter, and starts to explode over everything.
And it's not just because of what he does; it's because of
everything she dreamed he would do that never
happened. It's not him who is
destroying her. It's the mental image
she created that has crumbled. "A
man's heart plans his way, but the
Lord directs his steps." Proverbs
16:9.
The human mind plans, imagines, hopes,
but God directs the true path.
And if you are not willing to let go of the
wheel, if you don't allow Him to correct
the course, you will always live in
frustration. You will live each day as
a disappointment, and that will eventually
fill you with anger, even if it's not
outwardly apparent. Here comes The great truth your
emotional system doesn't want to accept:
Expectations are not promises. Your mind
turned them into promises, but God didn't
promise them to you. You formed an idea,
you built a picture, but God
isn't obligated to fulfill what you
imagined. He's committed to
something much bigger: shaping your
character. And that hurts. Listen to this:
Every time you're frustrated by something
that didn't happen as you expected, your
brain goes into a state of threat.
It feels like you're losing control,
that your environment is unsafe, that you can't even
trust God. And in that
state, you become more reactive, more
aggressive, more vulnerable to anger. But
if you don't heal that root of
broken expectation, your body will live in alarm mode, and
that will make you sick.
Your cortisol levels will rise,
your immune system will weaken.
You'll have insomnia, anxiety, fatigue. Your
body is screaming what your soul
hasn't healed.
Three. When anger reveals something
deeper within you, most people
believe that anger is a
spontaneous reaction that arises from what others
say or do. that it's the fault of the
situation, the mistreatment, the
injustice. But that's a
comfortable lie that keeps you stuck. Anger does
n't appear out of nowhere. Anger is an echo.
An echo of something much deeper that you have
n't yet resolved. An unhealed wound
. An unaffirmed identity. A
heart that hasn't yet been
fully surrendered to the Lord.
For example,
imagine a man who has worked
his whole life to be recognized. He lives
waiting to be valued, to be
heard, to be applauded. One day
he arrives at a meeting and his opinion is
ignored. He wasn't insulted, he wasn't
attacked, he was simply not taken into account.
But inside he explodes, he shouts, he gets
angry, he gets into an argument. The
meeting isn't the problem, it's the wound that
never healed. A part of him still wants to
prove his worth to the world. And since he hasn't
succeeded, anger takes control. Here's
the key point. Anger is often
a sign that you're still trying
to defend your own righteousness, your worth, your
image, instead of trusting in the
righteousness of God. God. Because when you know
who you are, when your identity is
grounded in Christ, nothing external can
break you. Love is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. 1
Corinthians 13:5. Do you know why it isn't easily
angered? Because true love is born from
a secure identity. It doesn't need to
defend itself, it doesn't react out of ego. It loves
from fullness, not from lack.
For example,
a woman receives a cold comment from
someone at church. They looked at her
askance, said something cutting, and
inside she falls apart. She feels attacked,
despised. She begins to imagine that they
criticize her, that they envy her. She leaves the
place in tears. But it wasn't those
words that broke her. It was the
insecurity that already dwelled in her
heart. The one who was insulted did not
respond with cursing. 1 Peter
2:23.
Jesus hanging on the cross was spat upon,
mocked, wounded, and yet he did not react
with anger. Why? Because his identity
was not at stake. He knew who he was, he
knew who had made him. Sent. He knew
his worth didn't depend on what the world
thought of him. Every time you react
with anger to an offense,
you're revealing how much power you give
that person over you. Do you realize that?
If someone can change your
emotional state with a single word, then
that person owns your emotions. And do
you know what's most tragic? You're
surrendering your peace to people who haven't
even earned it. Do not be
overcome by evil, but overcome evil
with good. Romans 12:21.
Not responding with anger isn't weakness,
it's self-control. It's spiritual maturity. If your
identity continues to depend on
praise, acceptance, and the respect
others give you, you're one step away from
exploding at any moment. But if
you allow God to affirm you,
if you understand that you've already been accepted in
the Beloved, that you don't have to prove
anything to anyone,
then anger loses its power, because you
no longer live to defend yourself, you live to
reflect Him. And when Christ is the
center of your History:
Insults don't define you, criticism doesn't
destabilize you,
contempt doesn't move you because your
heart already belongs to someone, and that someone isn't
called the world, it's called Jesus.
Four: Forgiveness, the secret weapon
against anger. There are wounds that don't
bleed on the outside, but that leak every
day on the inside. We walk through
life with borrowed smiles, but deep down
we drag invisible chains
made of words that marked us,
betrayals that didn't heal, silences
that hurt more than any scream. And
we believe that if we hold onto that pain, if we do
n't let go of it, if we keep it there like
a file always available, we'll do
justice to our suffering.
But number one, the truth is brutal.
Resentment doesn't punish the other person, it
punishes us. Forgiveness isn't
weakness, it's spiritual rebellion against
the control that wound has over
you. Remember Jesus on the cross,
betrayed, beaten, spat upon, and yet,
without expecting any repentance,
he uttered the most powerful words
a human heart can speak: "
Father, forgive them, for they are my children." They don't know what they're doing
. Luke 23:44. It
wasn't just a pretty phrase; it was a
declaration of war against hatred. It was opening
the gates of heaven, even to those who
were killing it. And you, how many times
have you been hanging on your own
emotional cross, waiting for someone to come and
ask for forgiveness?
And what if that waiting becomes a
life sentence? Because while you wait for the
other person to change, your soul remains stagnant,
spinning in circles, slowly
wearing itself down. Think about this true story. A woman was betrayed by her best friend. Years of trust destroyed by a lie. There was no apology, no attempt at amends, only emptiness. And that woman decided she couldn't forgive. She promised herself she wouldn't let anyone
else hurt her. She armored herself. But what she did
n't realize is that she also
closed her heart. She stopped trusting, she stopped
loving freely, she stopped dreaming, and one
day she understood that the punishment wasn't on
her friend, it was on her,
because forgiveness isn't about freeing the
guilty, it's about freeing the wounded. The
Bible says in Ephesians 4:31-32,
"Get rid of all bitterness,
rage, anger, harsh words, and slander.
Be kind to one another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God
in Christ forgave you. And that's
the secret. He forgave us first.
Bitterness is a slow poison.
Unforgiveness not only distorts your
perception, it also weakens your body,
your spirit, your faith. You relive the past over and over again
as if that could change what
happened. But in reality you become a
slave to a memory that has no
right to decide for you. And if today
you decided to break that cycle and if today
you stopped waiting for justice and chose
freedom, because it's not about denying the
pain, it's about not living under its
control. It doesn't mean forgetting, it means
that the memory no longer has power over
you. Another story. A young man was
publicly humiliated by his father
for years. Harsh words,
constant contempt. When that father died, the
son was already an adult and thought, "I no longer have any reason to
forgive him." He left without asking.
But one day, while reading Romans 12:19, which
says, "Do not take revenge, leave room for
God's wrath. Vengeance is mine, I
will repay, says the Lord," she understood that
forgiving wasn't about proving what happened, but about
freeing herself from the eternal cycle of
inherited suffering. And she decided to
let go, not with an emotion, but with
a decision. She cried, she screamed, she prayed, and
after that, for the first time in years, she
slept peacefully. Peace doesn't come when the
other person repents. Peace comes when
you decide to stop carrying what doesn't
belong to you. That is
spiritual survival. Because if you don't forgive, you
continue living bound to the scene of your
pain. And that's like living in a prison
where you are the jailer. There is
a truth that hurts, but heals. Your
past doesn't have to write your
future, but if you don't forgive, it will. And
if today you were to take that courageous step, and if
today you were to make the most radical decision of
your life, to let go, not for them, but for
yourself. Not because they Not because they deserve it, but
because you deserve to live in freedom. If you
've come this far, it's no
coincidence. Something inside you knows that things ca
n't go on like this, that this
silent anger is dimming your light, that
this unhealed wound is stealing your
life. The enemy wants you to believe that
if you forgive, you lose, but the truth is
that if you don't forgive, you lose yourself, you lose
peace, you lose health, you lose purpose.
Today you can take control, today you can
break the cycle, because forgiveness doesn't
change the past, but it
completely transforms your future. And when you let go of what
destroys you, God will place in your
hands what builds you up.
