God forgive me for having strayed from

you. And perhaps this is also the prayer

of someone who is listening to me right now.

Because sometimes when we drift apart, it's not

because we've stopped believing. We drift apart

because we get distracted. She gets

distracted by the rush, the

worries,

the bills,

that crazy anxiety of wanting to

control everything and everyone.

And when you realize it, your head is

full, your heart is getting heavy,

bitter.

And when we realize it, the Lord is very

far away from us.

So, in this prayer, I want to open

my heart to him

and say that I don't want him to be

just a part of my life, but that he should be a

part of my whole life.

Because I've been stressed,

worried, anxious, trying to solve

everything with my own strength.

And none of that has worked. The truth is

that I've often paid more

attention to my own problems than to

his presence. She's been

focusing more on the circumstances, you know,

on all the circumstances, than on

who's with me in the midst of them.

So, God, forgive me, bring me back

to the right place, teach me to stop

treating what is fleeting

as if it were greater than you. It

makes me more humble.

Correct me, correct me, calm me down.

Help me to put the Lord back at the center of

my life. Because when the

Lord is back in the center,

anxiety loses its power, fear loses its

power, confusion dissipates, and we

remember that we are not alone, we never

were alone. So, if this prayer

is also yours, receive it. God is there.

Even when you get distracted, even

when you've drifted away, even when you've

tried to carry everything alone.

So come back however you can, but come back,

because God's place was never

in the leftovers of your life. It's always been in the

center, it's always been here. Count on me.
