How to prepare a great presentation

Have you got an important presentation coming up that you're worried about?

I'm gonna give you three great tips on how to prepare your presentation,

so it's a success.

Tip number one:

Make sure that the order of your presentation is logical

so that everybody who's watching you can understand what you're saying.

If you jump around in the order of your presentation,

no one's gonna know what's going on.

You can start with an introduction where you lay out what you're going to talk about

in the presentation today.

That way your audience will be able to follow you more easily.

Tip number two:

If you have a PowerPoint presentation or some other kind of presentation,

don't make it too busy.

Don't write every single thing you're going to say on the presentation.

Keep it simple.

People don't need to read everything that you are going to tell them.

Just having simple clear bullet points,

or even a visual will really help people to follow you more easily.

It will also make your presentation much more interesting.

And point number three:

If you want to have notes with you in the presentation,

put them onto little note cards.

Nobody wants to watch a presentation where the person is reading

from their paper the whole time.

If you want to have notes with you,

put them onto small note cards and just have a short bullet point on each one.

If possible, you should even reduce it to just one word.

This way, you won't be tempted to read the whole time,

you'll look at your audience instead.
