I bought this house because I wanted to live in it. I should say that I bought this house because I needed a place to live. So I don't really care about the price of the house. I know that the price of the house may continue to fall in the next year. But because this is the house I want to live in, I don't want to go to the lowest point of the market to buy it. And I really don't know when it will be the lowest point of the market.

Because I know that many rich people in Seattle are waiting for the lowest point of the market. I think when I have the ability to see my favorite house, I will buy it directly. I plan to live in the upper part of this house myself. I just said that I want to make Airbnb or a music venue downstairs.

In the current housing market, I think the income per month is around $2,500. If it was last year, the housing market is better, it can be around $3,000. This house has a very large backyard. There is no need to have so many parking spaces, and there are not so many cars that can park. My plan after that is to apply for an AADU from the government. That is, you can build an independent unit behind the house. There are a lot of AADUs now that you can buy directly from Home Depot. You can rent this small apartment directly from your home to someone else. I think the monthly income can be around $2,000 to $3,000. If I do this, I can basically pay off my monthly loan and land tax.

If I leave Seattle today, I will split the apartment into two units and rent it out. There will be three units in the backyard, so there should be a good cash flow.
